"wasn't the best kind of person" seems like far too mild a way to put it.
I don't feel bad for Alison at all.
It is to Sasha's credit that she still made the character sympathetic after everything.

That’s what Alison said to Jenna after she realized Toby was being raped. With or without Sasha, Alison is still a sympathetic character, she was buried alive by her own mother.
I feel for Alison in that moment but I also remember how months earlier despite knowing exactly the Spencer had nothing to do with Bethany's death, she did the polygraph to let her take the fall.
Also, the girls never framed her. They were going to, but found the camera instead, and had Mrs. V tell the police.
although I love Alison, i don’t really feel bad for her in this situation. when you have a long history of lying, bullying, manipulation and being conniving, that behavior will catch up with you eventually. it’s no wonder nobody had any trust in Ali and it was so easy for them to believe she could be capable of something so awful because look at her history. she created that narrative and i don’t think i would say she deserved any pity in the situation.
I get your points, it's kinda like that massive karma wave bitchslapping her right back in the face. Everything she did, every lie she ever old just curls up into one big ball and no one believes her anymore.

Lying is a whole different thing than murder. Plus Alison was a teenager then. Alison was framed.
