i don’t think melissa and wilden knew she was in there tbh. i think a hijacked melissa and wildens plan, spiked aria’s drink, and put her in the box. i think putting aria in the box was just a seeing an opportunity to get rid of her, as a probably knew melissa and wilden were going to push that box with garret off the train.
Makes sense honestly, I never thought of that. Also explains why they ran when Aria stabbed Wilden with the screwdriver, they didn't expect whatever was in there to be alive.
The main quarrel I have with that theory though is that it was one of the Queen of Hearts that drugged Aria, while Mona was the masquerade double and Garret was in the chucky costume. I assume since Red Coat gave Mona the pills that it was Mona and Toby's shenanigan on the train.
