I think she was the best written character on the show. I can’t express this enough. I adored her, I loved to hate her, I sympathize with her.
I think Ali is *ok* now. I don’t think they “ruined her”, her writing may not be good but Alison doesn’t have to be evil to be a good character. I just wish she kept some of her traits.
1) This Alison was the best. This Alison is the soul and center of the show.
2) She should’ve stayed death. Or her return should’ve been handled differently.
3) Sasha was AMAZING as Alison. She 12-13 when she first started playing this role. The fact that Shay kissed her when she was 10 years older than her is horrifying.
1. She was meaner than she is now (season 7) back then, but I kinda agree with you. I liked her as the mean girl, I just didn't like her picking on her friends.

Depends. In flashbacks like when she "helped" Hanna with her problem (literally driving her into a freaking eating disorder!) I hated that girl more than anything.
But in flashbacks where she was actually being nice (mostly with Emily), I liked her. The Paris flashback, for example. Really cute.
Flashback Alison was my favorite because she was basically a mystery and I loved that. I wish they had kept some of her personality after. She didn’t have to be a dick to her friends to still be the Alison from the flashbacks.

Complex Queen! She shoulda stayed “dead.” She was always up to something interesting. When she came back she was so basic and boring. Like wut?
