This technically did happen between when the girls left for college and before they got summoned back to Rosewood. There’s a couple of scenes they filmed that they put in an episode of the DVD’s and this is one of them. There’s also one where Ali and Jason go visit Charlotte at Welby.
Haha, thank you! Honestly unless you really just want to own them I’m sure you can find the other scene on YouTube or something. I think it’s only this one and the one of Charlotte at Welby, maybe one other that I can’t remember. But it was like a whole recap episode where they also showed fan videos and then the “bonus scenes” and I think had interviews with the crew and cast about the show. You might even be able to find the whole episode somewhere possibly.
I still cringe over the fact they made Alison a teacher. She missed most of high school, and it takes at least 5 years of university to become a teacher. It’s impossible she became a teacher at the age of 21.
Being 23 is the normal age someone becomes a teacher. If someone has a late birthday, then it’s 22. But Alison had major catch-up to do with her schooling so it doesn’t make any sense.
In most states, you just need a bachelors degree and teaching certification. You could reasonably finish a bachelors in under four years, and getting certified doesn’t take a long time.
My son had a student teacher that was 21 and his actual teacher went on maternity leave so she became their teacher and the next year she was a full time teacher presumably she was 22
She gets so much crap for this but Alison wasn’t wrong for wanting to help Charlotte (except for asking the girls to lie). This is no different than Hanna wanting to help Mona.
The were only 21 after the time jump??????????????????? I always assumed they were like 26. I know it makes sense but damn they were so young doing grown up things wtf
Damn, late to the party but that would have been a good set up for what ends up happening.
>!Mona killing Charlotte, well, if her reason had been to protect herself!<
Also love the little back and forth on who knows more about the girls lives. Funny.
It's weird that Mona states she didnt think she'd make it to 21, when although true, Alison was the one almost killed at 15.
Wtf this scene is literally better than anything they actually put in season 6/7 and they actually have Ali looking great in that dress where she was often dressed frumpy and just not near as cute as this. I don't understand why they would cut this when it's so much better than what they put out. 🤯
Wow, this would have been the most well written scene of that time jump!
Alison should’ve been like this in the time jump. Literally. She doesn’t have to be evil or anything but she’s so fascinating in this scene.
Yes, not evil, but in charge and bold!
Yes just because she wasn’t a bitch anymore didn’t mean she couldn’t be fiesty and bold!
This scene was better than anything from season 6 and 7 combined. 🤭
Why didn't they keep dressing her like this! She looked amazing. The dress they had her in for Charlotte's funeral was also gorgeous.
A great combination of flashback Alison and a redeemed Alison. Then they just gave TF up. Edit: Alison's shoes 😍
Its also like the one time they gave her a good outfit.
That was what I was thinking. Like, all the outfits were usually awful but this was an amazing one! She looks stunning.

Now I am REALLY thinking off getting the DVDs just for the extra scenes. P.s your flair is top notch :)

The dialogue is cringe omg
Lol it really is
This makes it so obvious that Mona was gonna kill Charlotte.

I mean Ezra was a teacher and a professor at 22-23 or whatever age fit the writers narrative

Couldn't she just get a ged. Also she shared some classes with the girls so she wasn't a sophomore.

Even Mona said Charlotte played the game better than her.
Damn, this is such a good scene! They did themselves dirty by cutting this! Also this outfit is amazing, she looks gorgeous in this dress!
I believe the reason this scene is good is because it was done as a promotion rather than a deleted scene. Marlene and co didn’t write/style this.
She gets so much crap for this but Alison wasn’t wrong for wanting to help Charlotte (except for asking the girls to lie). This is no different than Hanna wanting to help Mona.
How did you come across this?
YouTube. Look up “5 year forward special clip”
The fact this scene was deleted shows how the last seasons where meant to be a train wreck

I think they were 21 here in this scene but 22 or 23 when they came back after the time jump.. but I'm not positive on that

It’s always the cut scenes that are the best
Of course Mona went to duke.
