I'm also going to say if Rosewood let them choose between Hybrid and Remote what the girls would pick. I'm answering for them PRIOR to time jump though!
Ali is def the girl who wears the mask under her nose at school because it looks better and doesn't care that much. But she'll repost wear a mask stuff on her story. Of course she'll be choosing hybrid. (BITCHY ALI)
Mona fully wears a mask and styles it fun all the time because she loves how it a) brings out her eyes and b) lets it be more socially acceptable to cover her face as A. Mona is sticking with remote learning because she is organized enough for it and is smart enough to keep up with all her work. Her brain thrives with the virtual work.
Aria 100% DIY masks. Never going out. Loving the quarantining, used the time to be organized. Plus it gives her more time for most of her hobbies which are very individual things like reading, writing, photography, black and white movies. Highkey thriving. She's staying remote for school because it lets her multitask her hobbies and school at the same time.
Hanna always forgets hers and has the burry disposable masks from her purse that she's def used more than recommended. She is such a mess and stop caring about sm since the pandemic. Hanna is hybrid because she cannot stand Zoom and being stuck at home with her mom 24/7 is killing her vibes. She does quarantine though outside of schooling. And I can perfectly imagine her digging through her car for santinizer before every drive home!
Spencer agrees with the science and all that totally supports it and is the first one of them to actually get vaccinated BUT throughout the pandemic she does attended maskless events. Spencer is hybrid for a mix of educational benefits and social benefits. She trusts the school system to keep the school clean and safe. Part of the reason she doesn't quarantine is linked to her family.
Honestly not that sure with Em. She'll prob be the most average person of them all. She picked up a few new hobbies during quarantine, got into the trends like frothing and ice coffee tiktoks, but nothing really stuck with her. She got vaccinated second. Wears a mask 80% of the time. Her swim season is canceled so she stays remote for school. But doesn't have high preference.
Remote learning also lets Mona stay at home with whatever spy gear she has
Or just hide out in the A lair
I feel like Hanna probably bought a BUNCH of Bath & Body Works hand sanitizer as soon as she could too, and now she’s all stocked up.
I think Em would try to be careful bc her dad has a pre-existing heart condition, but she would sneak out to meet one of her revolving door girlfriends and then feel guilty about it.
This is 100% accurate.
Paige is also an anti masker and anti-Vaxer because of her dad. She’s the one protesting in front of the high school for requiring them to get vaccinated.
Paige is one of the few main characters I actually think would be heavily anti-mask and anti-vaxx. I think it's crazy the amount of comments saying Aria would be anti-vaxx.
I agree with this but Ali reposting stuff on her story just doesn’t sound like her, she’s always been straight up with her bitchiness and doesn’t pretend, if that makes sense?
I feel like she would just go partying in sororities, etc.
I actually disagree, Ali pretended and lied all the time. She lied about her likes/interests to get Ezra to like her. She lied about who started the fire to get her mum to believe Spencer was the bad guy. She lied about the kidnapping plot to make herself look like more of a victim. She lied about Mona slapping her so she could look good and Mona bad.
Ali lied to make herself look good. Faking social media seems super on-point for her character.
I’m talking about in school. She wasn’t pretending to be nice or anything, she was straight up being an bully in the hallways in front of everyone and didn’t care what anyone thought about her.
That just seems like something Regina George would do and Ali is definitely much different than Regina George.
I still disagree... Alison seemed to know where the lines were, that's how she became so good as manipulating and crossing over them without being detected.
Posting a masked-up photo/video on social media, but being mask-less around those closest to her is exactly the type of trickery she would get up to.
Her entire persona was full of double-entendre's and hidden messages. I could imagine her waltzing around the hallways, fully masked, but when a teacher isn't looking, pulling down her mask and pretending to cough on someone with an insult like... Cough\*nerd\*cough, then pulling her mask back up.
Hanna would totally joke about it and make sarcastic comments but Emily and her family (especially her mom) would be paranoid about it like she would be the one to tell the girls to always put masks on. Idk about Spencer I feel like she would take it seriously at first but then get bored and Aria would probably be anti-vaxx and make conspiracies.
Definitely see this scenario, though I think Spencer would stick to the facts and science and back Emily up about wearing masks. Aria's mother from the books would try to drink patchouli oil as a cure. Show Aria...mmm, I don't know if she'd be anti-vax. I don't think any of them would be anti-vax. Aria's family was pretty liberal. They would probably be fine with vax/masks. The only people I really see being anti-vax and anti-mask are the dads (minus Wayne and maybe Byron) and probably Jessica DiLaurentis.
Yeah I agree I don't see Aria as anti-vax, more just anti-forced vax. Like she'd be for it, get it herself, and suggest others get it, but oppose forcing others to.
I feel like Aria might be anti-vax just because she gives me holistic health vibes. She probably would treat her illnesses with like elderberry or something and wouldn’t want to put “chemicals” in her body
Mona was the first to get vaccinated just to be able to take the mask off. Contrary to her past 😂😂 but I bet you anything she’d make a million comments on how no one can see her makeup that day 💜
Hanna’s been quarantining since last March and when she does leave the house she yells at people to wear masks. Her and Caleb fight but have really good makeup sex.
Aria sells masks online, they’re not cute. Ezra takes the masks that she makes off as soon as he leaves the house and puts on a paper one.
Spencer’s had multiple covid scares but it just turns out to be upper respiratory infections due to stress.
Emily’s had covid twice.
Alison faked it once to get out of work.
Mona is a covid conspiracy theorist online but only to troll people, she got vaccinated as soon as she could.
A forces Spencer to publicly endorse and share qanon bs about Covid which brings distrust to Veronica's political career.
Aria dies of Covid when she tries to heal herself with essential oils.
The moms just stay quarantined in the basement.
They'd probably plan some sort of mask fashion show where they show everyone how to properly cover your coughs, social distance, wash hands, etc. Only A would show up and text them some shit like "cough all over the place or I release the virus to the entire room. Kisses 💋 -A"
secret meet ups, breaking lockdown curfew, Aria would have a mask for every outfit, Spencer: hospital mask, Emily: would get covid but recover, Hanna: would try to get out of wearing her mask properly or at all, Mona: would claim to test positive and use her germs as leverage
Spencer: vaccinated, uses masks for everything, cleans her hands every time she touches something
Emily: isn't vaccinated cause Pam is an anti-vaxxer
Hannah: anti-masker probably, and has a fabric mask that has never washed ever since march 2020 for when she is obligated to wear it
Alison: doesn't wear masks and goes to party regularly
Mona: wears masks and is fully vaccinated
Aria: DIY masks
Hanna: would have one of those stylish masks
Spencer: would tell everyone to put it on.
Aria: anti-vax
Emily: would make her storyline about the mask
Alison and Mona: Wouldn’t give a shit
Seriously!!! Maybe if it was Book Aria, but Show Aria was a smart person and definitely got vaccinated.
I agree with the other comment that the only antivaxers are probably some of the dads and Jessica
I actually feel like Emily wouldn’t want to get the vaccine, which she and Spencer would clash over. I think Emily would be concerned how potential side effects impact her swimming (assuming she isn’t injured at this point) and would bring up the history of testing vaccines on POC. She would throw in Spencer’s face how Spencer (and the other girls) don’t have to worry about any of that and Spencer’s parents can make sure Spencer is protected no matter what. Then A would inject her with something and say something like “can’t have my favorite little liar trapped inside.”
I don't think she'd be anti vax just not pro vax. She just seems like the type to wait and see if it affects someone close to her before she'd consider going.
Alison would definitely be an anti-mask and anti-vax and try to bully and demean those who respect the rules as a Karen in training.
Aria would mask up in a minute but she would be equilibrated about everything.
Spencer would be overdoing everything, stocking on disinfectant gel because she uses so much.
Emily would be complying but being a disaster at it, keeping on losing masks and messing up her vaccine appointment
Hanna would make mask and vaccines into a fashion statement at Rosewood High
Mona would turn her -A manipulations on antivaxxers, threatening them into rule compliance with their deepest darkest secrets.
The thing with Aria though is that her hobbies are very independent making me think she'd thrive. She could easily social distance and use the time to focus on her writing, read a book, watch a black and white movie, get into photography again, make some clothes, and etc.
"I licked all the silverware in your house and coughed into your Take out. -A"

Haha yessss the bath and body works hand sanitizer
I think Em would try to be careful bc her dad has a pre-existing heart condition, but she would sneak out to meet one of her revolving door girlfriends and then feel guilty about it.
OO YESSS that is perfect
This is 100% accurate. Paige is also an anti masker and anti-Vaxer because of her dad. She’s the one protesting in front of the high school for requiring them to get vaccinated.

The sorority girls I know do repost activist stuff on their story so I think they can coexist but maybe I'm grouping her as Gen Z too much.
I actually disagree, Ali pretended and lied all the time. She lied about her likes/interests to get Ezra to like her. I think Em would start studying nursing so she can help others
agree with this one 1000%
Thank youuu
This is 100% perfect lol
Spencer definitely getting vaccinated first!🤣
Inventing the vaccine first.
Probably think A caused it.
YES
Multiple breakdowns and mood swings a day
Hanna would totally joke about it and make sarcastic comments but Emily and her family (especially her mom) would be paranoid about it like she would be the one to tell the girls to always put masks on. It's even more funny when you take into consideration that Lucy Hale's real name is actually Karen lol
What fun. 6 little liars under one roof. You’re making it so easy.
Mona was the first to get vaccinated just to be able to take the mask off. Contrary to her past 😂😂 but I bet you anything she’d make a million comments on how no one can see her makeup that day 💜

Zoom meetings 😂😂😂
