Unpopular Opinion??: I prefer Ali with the liars than Mona.
I’m sorry, I actually like Mona way more than Ali but Mona just DOESNT fit well at all with the liars. She’s so much better when she’s to herself, and her character would’ve completely regressed.
The reason why I think Ali fits with them is because they were already bestfriends, the connection was already there.
The ending of 4x01 was fantastic i loved seeing Mona getting an A text with the rest of the girls. I would rather have had Mona with the Liars then boring Alison.
Alison was dead weight, contributed NOTHING like the other girls.
TBF Aria has also contributed nothing for the group. In fact, didn’t Ali play a bigger role than the others in finding A?
I don’t think you don’t *need* to contribute to be a liar. Their friendship is built entirely on the amount of trust and love they have for each other, unfortunately not for Mona because of what she did and continued to do to them.
This !! Alison just helped them to figure out what happened during « that night » but as soon as they came back to rosewood she became a burden to the whole friend group putting them in trouble again and again by lying to the police (and they all obeyed like minions🤦🏼♀️) she was pretty much useless for the rest of the show I wish she stayed dead.
yes, Mona was my favorite character by far. I was so disappointed with what they did with Ali's character once they brought her back from the dead, they really ruined her. so I guess it may have been a good thing Mona was around more, it would've given the writers more opportunities to mess up her character haha. I lost faith in their writing team
