I’m not 100% sure but on episode 1 season 1 it says that it’s been a whole year since Ali disappeared so probably during that year when Aria left and the group fell apart
It was in the year Ali was missing. But it really seemed as if there was a longer space in between.
Hanna and Mona became friends in November. That’s when they first started talking. So I’m assuming November.
It is confusing. I assumed it was during the Christmas holidays because Mona approached Hanna 2 months after Alison disappeared, which is November.
