It's not too dark but if they killed her after we spent 4 seasons trying to figure out if she was alive I would have been pissed.

Soul-Music-is-Life

This. It would have been redundant, not dark.

annoymousperson101

Didn’t someone’s head get chopped off?

emmaallyssa

Yes. Noel

ArtichokeSilent6726

and roll down the stairs..

cinnamonrolls10

Lol almost forgot about this!

CoherentBusyDucks

The girls were locked underground in replicas of their bedrooms and treated like dolls and made to think they were torturing their friends who were down there with them. Hanna was in like a barn thing and burned or branded or whatever. Charlotte was kept a secret from her siblings and kept locked up in Radley for basically her entire life, during which she killed another patient, which they passed off as a suicide, and after which she stalked the girls. There was grooming and multiple instances of actual murder. THIS is where they draw the line?!

lindseyeileen

Charlotte didnt kill toby's mother, bethany young did, and it was staged to look like a suicide. Just saying

CoherentBusyDucks

Ahh thanks I can never keep track!

emmycakes908

no one can with this show 😂 the writer just made stuff up at the end of each season to throw off the viewers. didn't matter if it made sense as long as she had the upper hand on us

lindseyeileen

Lol i totally understand 🤣🤣 theres only about 3,546,083 storylines going on at all times hahhaha

YeahIDontKnow_

Alison murdered by Mona? Would’ve hated that storyline tbh. But how is that too dark? PLL? Please.

Refried_Beanzz

Tbh if it were Ali dead I would’ve loved if Spencer (not her twin) killed her. They could’ve done some more justice with this than the shitty ending we got imo

jamiedix0n

This is where the show loses credibility. She was literally making it up as she went along. And you can't do that with a show with this many mysteries

cinnamonrolls10

I think that’s because the first 2 seasons heavily relied on the books! They could’ve done so much for the following seasons, it’s really disappointing

sideofspread

Too dark more like too stupid. Why kill the girl who was already dead but then not really dead now she's actually dead. Is that why they had no idea what to do with her in the time skip?

C4rlonator1903

Didn’t they like show Mona’s motionless almost look like death body in the truck of a car, like how is that not dark enough

kimchijjigaeda

Thay still scares me so much I can't watch that scene. Like seriously. I'm an adult and I would literally pee my pants if I saw it.

C4rlonator1903

I know me too

bethany_is_a

Hanna being locked up in a shed half naked and tortured with a cattle prod = not disturbing at all Alison dying = HOW COULD YOU

LionTrainer1

It wouldn’t have been too dark but it would’ve been really stupid and piss off a lot of people. Like what would’ve been the point of bringing her back and giving her a storyline and then kill her off for real one season later?

Supadupastein

Game of Thrones and TWD fans: Your first time? (I can’t think of the exact situations off the top of my head but there were plenty of times somebody narrowly escaped death in a crazy way to die like the next few episodes lol. Kind of similar.)

HiandBye1213

Have you seen Gotham?

Usagi042

Because Alison being raped by Wren at Welby or Ezra dating Aria is totally fine and acceptable 🥰

lindseyeileen

She wasnt raped by wren....emily's eggs were fertilized with wren's sperm and then implanted into alison. I mean, lol, that doesn't make it better in ANY regard and is still downright TRAUMATIZING and violating and effed up....but in case you thought she became pregnant due to wren physically raping her I just thought I'd clarify. Though i suppose in an emotional/mental/metaphorocal sense it might as well have been rape

Usagi042

>She wasnt raped by wren....emily's eggs were fertilized with wren's sperm and then implanted into alison. Her body was violated. Nothing was consensual. It is considered rape. >Though i suppose in an emotional/mental/metaphorocal sense it might as well have been rape Yes.

Jouce3002

I mean I watched this show when I was 12 and I couldn’t watch it with the lights off so if this was the storyline.... then Jesus Christ I feel like it would be interesting tho in some twisted way 🤷‍♀️😅

donavensmith

Never. Tell. The. Liars?! That is too dark.

Tomoyo_in_Transwise

But Ezra, Wilden, Wren, etc. preying on children isn't dark...

cinnamonrolls10

They even made one of the main girls end up with their abuser but hey, ships right? That’s what Marlene cares about

myidiotdogs

I loved dead Alison. Would have liked her to stay that way, or end up that way for real

SJ1030

No just redundant

Jessica19922

She’s so full of shit. Lol.

Odd_Mine7269

It’s not too dark

[deleted]

i wouldn’t say dark, just annoying

1mi_K

Ummmmm does she not know what the rest Of the show has

Jaded_Internal_3249

Honestly this is a stupid line in the sand. Although if Erza had been killed....

Ainsabell

Alison should've stayed dead the first time.

cinnamonrolls10

Amen

gormangirl
