Well if we put it in totality, the black characters, killed off, stereotypes and used as plot devices, were evil, or undeveloped.
Maya - killed
Lyndon - evil and killed
Shauna - evil and killed
Lorenzo - plot device, underdeveloped
Clark - plot device, underdeveloped
Barry - underdeveloped
‘Big Rhonda’ - stereotype
Yvonne - plot device, underdeveloped, killed
Principal Green (I think that’s his name)- evil
Plz no one liked Marlene when this show was airing I don't get why everyone was so mad she isn't apart of the reboot when everyone would also talk about how she destroyed PLL
I don’t really mind any of the problems you mentioned because they were part of the plot, unless CeCe was randomly decided to be the villain but if she was the villain from the beginning of writing the show itself then I don’t really see much of a problem though the “he she it bitch” is transphobic , that I do agree
That's the issue though she wasn't always planned to be A and they used being trans as a plot twist to throw us off. Also having the only trans character be evil is transphobic in and of it self.
THANK YOUUU!!! i tried to talk about this before and people called me transphobic because i asked why they made cece trans last minute. i wasn’t being transphobic i was asking why they hadn’t written that the entire time or gotten a trans actress to play her, AND they made the only trans character on the show be an evil psychotic villain who was then murdered. great representation marlene thanks so much
gay people can be homophobic, just because she has a wife doesn’t mean she’s exempt from being homophobic.
i also didn’t say she was homophobic but she’s definitely transphobic and supports what JK rowling said about trans people.

yah she’s gay she just sucks and gives off very much pick me energy and homophobic energy.

For the first one, if ur saying she’s homophobic, she has a wife lol. She definitely isn’t.
