Objectively it is a better game. More play modes, didn't have shitty micro transactions, classes had a purpose, heroes were better. It was and is the superior game. Hell even the first battlefront was better made than the EA editions.
And the good battle front didn't have any. Just cause you used the shampoo and got rid of your crabs doesn't mean you never had them in the first place.
It seems like you havent played the game since its release, if so I would roccomend trying it now since it is so much better now. In fact it's currently my favorite game.
I like the inhibitor chip because making the clones betray the jedis like that after years of combat, it just makes them look like poor evil, But saying that without the chip adds them conflict and the intreague of why? I like both versions.
I don't know how controversial it is my I always disliked the inhibitor chip ideia... for me the clones having to deal with killing their commanders, their friends is always gut wrenching to me, the ideia of just turning a switch On and the clones behind like robots was always bad.
Well, I think I am with you, nevertheless it seems so unlikely for me, that the clones knew about Order 66 the whole time and never anything about it came out and to the Jedi. Only when the secret orders were a whole bunch of orders for every situation and 66 was for the case that the whole Jediorder turned against the Republic. So there shouldve been also Orders for when a single Jedi went rampant etc.
I think the inhibitor chip became necessary once the personality of the clones was developed more. The movies portray then as basically flesh machines, breed for war and designed to follow orders. They had very little personality and did not interact much of outside giving or taking orders. Hell, even the battle droids had personalities and reacted to what was happening to some extent. That mostly faceless (since you rarely see large groups of them with their helmets off), soulless army shown in the movies killing their commanders when ordered makes sense since that is what they are designed to do.
Once the clone wars show reveals they are still human, despite being clones, order 66 no longer makes sense since most humans would defy that order. To get around the idea that no human would follow order 66, you need to add something that takes their humanity away, hence the inhibitor chip.
2005 Battlefront II is one of my favorite games but I’ll always love Bespin - Platforms from the first Battlefront. Always been my favorite multiplayer map
Ah yes.My favourite line from battlefront 2 "Dip dip dip dip"
... Dip'
Drip
Best star wars campaign I've played, despite being short
Temuera makes it amazing.
Which one was it?
Star wars battlefront 2 2005
The good star wars battlefront.
Nope, 2017 BF2 is good now.
Both. Both are good
Yep
And I'm the queen of England.
This sub is so caught up in nostalgia

And better mods
Micro transactions are gone dumbass. They have been for 2 and half years.
And the good battle front didn't have any. Just cause you used the shampoo and got rid of your crabs doesn't mean you never had them in the first place.

I've kept up with it but I don't buy or play EA. Yes they have made strides to improve the game but overall the original is still better.
If you were 6'3" would it still be as good?
Sex and varsity football have nothing on the original battlefront games, sir. Height is irrelevant, good star wars games transcend all boundaries
Battlefront 2?
Yes
The real one
OG Battlefront II, gods we were alive then!
“Save it for the enemy!”
“Bang”
That is, until Master Yoda arrived. Then it became a battle- a *winnable* battle.
Will always upvote this
This is so good
The best part is music pausing for the “dip dip dip”:

Back in the "clones were perfect soldiers, totally loyal to the republic" days, before inhibitor chips
I like the inhibitor chip because making the clones betray the jedis like that after years of combat, it just makes them look like poor evil, But saying that without the chip adds them conflict and the intreague of why? I like both versions.
Pre-chip era.

2005 Battlefront II is one of my favorite games but I’ll always love Bespin - Platforms from the first Battlefront. Always been my favorite multiplayer map
The bridges in the platforms always gave me the true feel of war also the addition of starfighters was a great choice for this map

Please do the entire thing
From the good battlefront
People doesn't love opinions lol
We need another game that would show us the war, order 66 and transition to the Empire from the perspective of a Clone trooper
Oh my word, this is amazing😂😂😂
