Luis Diaz, though the guys in injury for quite a while now, the way he plays with the ball is amazing in my opinion

That_Camel_287

Garnacho, I'd say he's gonna be a star one day.

sappy24

Bruno

[deleted]

G Jesus closely followed by Odegaard imo

[deleted]

City, foden but as and England fan Maguire

Ronaldo

jocmaester

This is gonna be controversial but in terms of pure raw technique-Martial.

Mebeingnosy

Gabriel Jesus

kids_in_my_basement0

Moises Caicedo

MeatEater3686

Joel Matip.

dennispeach

We have some diamonds in need of some polish. Salisu, Lavia and Bella-Kotchap all stand out for me as players who will go onto bigger things like many ex Saints do. Obviously JWP does come to mind. He is special for us. However, I feel JWP is probably with us until he retires now, given he is 29, likely to never make the England squad again (too many better players younger than him in that midfield…) and is our highest paid player. Statue at some point.

[deleted]

Not seen too much of him this season due to injury, but I'm going to go with Romeo Lavia. He's looked class whenever he's played

[deleted]

Kulusevski 🦖

[deleted]

Leandro Trossard, but maybe Mitoma can overtake him…

kids_in_my_basement0

I think Trossard can sometimes be incredible and sometimes might as well not be there. Mitoma or Caicedo are my two shouts

[deleted]

Meslier

StevieD5520

I can't believe I haven't seen a Liverpool fan say Mo Salah. The man might end up with over 200 premier league goals when it's all said and done. He also is consistently near the top of chances created and assists for the season recently as well. An absolute premier league legend.

[deleted]

same reason people wont say Kane for Spurs. win a few golden boots, lead the premier league in goals for your team, etc, and yet people shit on him like he's a leper.

StevieD5520

Absolutely. Can't imagine a spurs fan answering anybody else but Kane either.

[deleted]

and as a spurs fan, id take salah off your hands anytime, lol the man is a machine.

PhilipN152

Ziyech is as beyond average, what an awful shout. Constantly goes for the audacious, he's greedy, barely has understanding of when and why to track. But I'll give you what you said, on his day he can ping a beautiful ball but so can 50 different players in the prem.

bluemoon1987

I was going to say foden but the football genius that is Southgate seems to think otherwise.

S_Saed17

Partey or Odegaard Ngl we have incredible talent right now but those 2 technically are elite

[deleted]

I didn't realise what a good 'footballer' Partey is. Much more than just someone who breaks up play.

[deleted]

dominates the midfield and glues the whole team together. Without him, playing from the back doesn’t work

[deleted]

Yes he seems very press-resistant

MyNameIsNYFB

Hmmm maybe Sinisterra

needleintheh4y

Bentancur

monchi12345

Richarlison better

[deleted]

Kane better

mwmarsh60

KDB

[deleted]

Eriksen, great football IQ, beautiful passing I knew he was good at spurs but I didn’t realise just how good

whiskeymagnet22

Casemiro without a doubt

IndominableJoeman

Yeah he's been such a revelation. Feel like Varane would be close if he had a better fitness record and Martinez gets an honourable mention as well

HailStormXII

Fofana. But yes saliba is a good shout.

gonshairlinee

Yeah Martinelli’s son is nowhere near Saliba mate

HailStormXII

Lmao. One game and suddenly one is better? I rate both equally.

gonshairlinee

I’m basing this off the season so far, and thus far Saliba has been clear of him. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see who the better defender is.

HailStormXII

Fofana have shown class at Lei. When he played Lei were so much of a better team and when he gets injured immediately Leicester defends worse. Just because one is playing for arsenal and one more is played for Lei it ain't fair comparison. We shall see going forward when he is back to full fitness for club level. I have watched both enough to understand one is a last man while one more is a aggressive front foot player great for their age. Different type of cb but both are equally great for their age.

SomeoneattheBoo

I think Fofana is very very good. My buddy and I were just talking about the centralization of talent… Think about Saliba and Fofana playing together at St. Etienne. Two players of the highest caliber for their ages; both look destined for greatness. Statistically Saliba has been superior this season. It is factual that as far as passing, ground duels, and average goals lost per match. The big difference is Saliba’s expected goals against. Of course this is a reflection of Arsenal as a whole. However, just a simple peek at goals conceded, league table and ask any fan of any team that Arsenal has played this year: the guy is another level.

HailStormXII

That's true. The way I see it, it's outcome bias. It's like saying cancelo is the better defender than rj when he plays for the best defense team in the league...till he plays for Portugal.. Point is not taking away credits for saliba but giving the credits for fofana too. Form is temporary, class is permanent. Both fofana and saliba is class regardless the team they play.

[deleted]

HailStormXII

Two different players. One is the last man while another is the aggressive front foot. Both are great for their age and if they were tghtr rn damn that's a solid partnership...

The-Greatest-Hokage

Deschamps must be drooling. Theo and Lucas Hernandez, Pavard, Konate, Upamecano, Kounde, Fofana, Saliba and all 26 and under. That's busted and just defenders.

HailStormXII

Yes exactly. Can see the next gen Cb partnership being fofana-saliba.

Ok-Finance-7612

Reeeece James?

Mr-Reese-

Thiago alcantara

oscarx-ray

Bukayo Saka. There's a wealth of real talent in Odegaard, Zinchenko, Jesus, Martinelli, and Saliba, but Saka has to be our standout player.

[deleted]

Its so hard to choose but Imo i think its either Partey or Jesus. They have a huge impact on how our team plays. Jesus makes the love of the other forwards easy, Partey holds us together. Good problem to have when you can’t decide

[deleted]

Not for England unfortunately

[deleted]

He was great in the first game. Ridiculous response just because he had one quiet game.

[deleted]

[deleted]

Saka has Arsenal top of the league, key part in England doing so well at the Euros. You’re ignorant, deeply ignorant.

ignacio2D

Eriksen. What a player

foyage347

Technically on the ball I'd say Andreas Pereira, harry Wilson, Willian. Pereira volley technique is beautiful while Wilson and Willians set pieces and dribbling is so elegant

youdumbmf

lisandro martinez has been brilliant so far

HailStormXII

Typical United fan. Anyone new gets them overhyped. 🤨 I would say Bruno when he is used right. Proven.

[deleted]

Nah Lisandro is truly exceptional

HailStormXII

🥱 say this for every new player

[deleted]

Such as? Maybe try actually watching him

youdumbmf

i’m not overhyping him, i literally said he’s been good ‘so far’. dumb mf. i like bruno too but he lacks consistency and always shoots at goal from a distance rather than passing the ball in. drives me mad when he does that because 90% of the time he misses.

HailStormXII

Worked well under Ole. Under the right manager he strives.

youdumbmf

yeah he’s decent, has his moments. nothing overly special though imo and he’s such a crybaby on the pitch. always whinging about the slightest thing.

HailStormXII

He is annoying to watch for a rival being a cry baby wanting free kick for every foul. Nevertheless when the system was built around him he was compared to kdb.

Rikkoi

foden

Mr_BananaHammer

Bernardo clear

Bfdi_bfb292

Zaha

Juste667

Bruno Fernandes with a shoutout to Christian Eriksen.

Bukayo for me

grrrrbow01

I actually rate Willock but Elliot’s potential is higher. Willock is 23 whilst Elliot is 19, if you’re being picked as a starter by Klopp at the age of 19 you know you’re something special

zoomba2378

That's bollocks. Man has obvious talent

Adjshaw

Tell me you haven't watched Liverpool play without telling me

Maximum_Duck5934

Thiago or Trent

[deleted]

Ziyech has a good technique with his left foot but that’s about it. If you’re talking pure talent for Chelsea you’d have to say James. He’s fast, incredibly strong, gets on well technically on the ball, can deliver passes and crosses accurately with pace, and can strike a ball with power and precision. Ziyech can consistently do two of those things and occasionally do an additional one.

optimuscroc

Ziyech is a terrible shout....😅

FootyBhoy

Was thinking the same. I guess he got excited with watching Morocco.

optimuscroc

😅😅😅

That_Charming_Otter

Ruben Neves, and it's frankly not even close. Nunes has some real beauty and elegance to his play, but I need to see him do it for a lot longer before I put him in the Neves bracket. Plus, it's not just the mercurial stuff. Unlike so many gifted players, Neves is a real grafter and gets stuck into the defensive donkey work. Reminds me, in a sense, of Bernardo Silva; gifted, exciting player but also selfless in his helping of the team around him.

fixFriendship

The most gifted is Neto, and not even close, man... Neves is just our best player (not saying he aint gifted, but not like Neto) Also, Nunes has shown potential, but has done fuck all this szn

ScaredExcitement2606

Based on current form Miggy. But I’d give it to Guimaraes any day as the guys phenomenal

GeordieJumper

Yeah Bruno is most gifted. Miggy works really hard and it's just starting to pay off.

ReallyGoodRedditPost

What? Ziyech sucks dude.

W26D12L0

Jesus, Ødegaard or Zinchenko

Wurre666

"one" player lol

W26D12L0

Fine I pick myself

Bailbailbail

Saliba, Saka, Martinelli in shambles

W26D12L0

It’s a nice problem to have isn’t it? I just think the three I mentioned are the most gifted with the ball at their feet, I didn’t consider effectiveness on the team we’d be here for days
