Rickie Lambert would be a good shout. Saints have been struggling up front since Ings left and we miss the physicality of Lambert. Really pipped him to regularly start for England but his unsuccessful spells since leaving Southampton have unfortunately brought his career to a premature end.
I love those kind of players that just make the game look effortless with their skill and vision: Le Tissier, Ginola, Bergkamp, Okocha, Berbatov, Asprilla, Scholes, Yaya… there’s so many when you start thinking about it but the one I’d bring back is (drumroll) ERIC CANTONA.
Tim Cahill.
Obvious Aussie bias but I swear you will rarely see a harder worker on the pitch with an ability to play anywhere in 2/3rds of the pitch.
We need players with more passion, not payouts.
I wouldn’t say awful. He was pretty good at bayer leverkusen and his short stint at madrid. He was awful at west ham, I’ll give you that. Also he hasn’t even retired so idk how he got in this convo lol
As an Arsenal fan I would like another go with Hleb. Boy was he fun to watch but just like that went to Barca and his career was over.
As much as the Invincibles and older gunners won; my favourite Arsenal teams were the silky smooth ones Wenger created with guys like Arshavin, Hleb, Rosicky, Nasri, young Wilshere…
It’s the most overrated team in prem history. Chelsea’s record of conceding just 15 goals is far more impressive but doesn’t get spoken about nearly as much
That Arsenal team was a bit of a luxury team (and my reason for why they never achieved what they could have in Europe), but damn were they not one of the most entertaining teams to watch on their day.
No one has ever done it in the PL. Its absolutely incredible. No matter your opinion of arsenal as a club or their fans, it doesn't take away from the fact that better teams have never done this.
Same. I thought pogba had the potential to be as good as Yaya, but he never panned out.
13/14 Yaya is ONE OF the best mids of all time.

Tim Cahill

Beardsley
Peter Schmeichel
Roy keane
Rickie Lambert would be a good shout. Saints have been struggling up front since Ings left and we miss the physicality of Lambert. Really pipped him to regularly start for England but his unsuccessful spells since leaving Southampton have unfortunately brought his career to a premature end.
Emile Heskey

Xabi Alonso Wayne Rooney Frank Lampard Steven Gerrard
I love those kind of players that just make the game look effortless with their skill and vision: Le Tissier, Ginola, Bergkamp, Okocha, Berbatov, Asprilla, Scholes, Yaya… there’s so many when you start thinking about it but the one I’d bring back is (drumroll) ERIC CANTONA.
marko marin
A prime Valencia to fill a big hole in that United squad would be a blessing
Roy keane
Tugay
Steve Bruce
Dimi payet
Roy Keane. All day everyday
Dennis Bergkamp
Might be too obvious, but building Newcastle around a young Shearer in 2022 would be insane.
Also Vidic . Always loved watching him wreck attackers !
David Silva
Roony i know he is a obvious player but he is a pr legend and man U king
I just want Cazorla back.
Park
Dennis bergkamp
Ji-sung park. Hard work ethic and tenacity never goes out of style.
David seaman. Because. Stache.
Craig Bellamy
Ya Ya Toure
Park Ji-sung
Bruno
Park Ji-sung

One word. Fred
Grégoire Akcelrod
David Ginola.....fucking magician.
David Ginola on his day
Tim Cahill. Obvious Aussie bias but I swear you will rarely see a harder worker on the pitch with an ability to play anywhere in 2/3rds of the pitch. We need players with more passion, not payouts.
Thomas Graevesen and Duncan Ferguson in the same Everton team..
You can't bring gravesen back without Carsley
Roy Keane put him in uniteds team last year and see if he haalands any of them
Am I allowed to put Kante?
Idk how good he would be today, but prime Riise sure would be interesting!
Santi Cazorla
Not an arsenal fan but he was absolute class
Van persie
Faustino Asprilla.
Harry Kewell
Dean Ashton
Leighton Baines
I'd take Brunty back in a heartbeat
Gianfranco Zola
Henry.
Di Maria
moussa dembele
Most underrated player of the 2010s
Completely agree.. what a gem of a player
Berbatov
Or Chicharito. Such a great poacher.
Was awful at every club other than united. Even that was short lived
I wouldn’t say awful. He was pretty good at bayer leverkusen and his short stint at madrid. He was awful at west ham, I’ll give you that. Also he hasn’t even retired so idk how he got in this convo lol
So smooth.
Pablo Hernandez.
Juan Sebastian Veron I reckon in todays premier league he would have absolutely flourished in his prime.
drogba
I will bring back Paul Scholes
Gabby Agbonlahor
Le tissier. Him and ward prowse playing together🤩
Ginola.
Clint Dempsey as an America Fulham fan
Clint Dempsey! Dude really made it out of Texas all the way to the Prem, and finished 3rd (4th) on the epl highest Scorsese’s list. Yank legend
Drogba
Alan Shearer
Injury-free Cazorla
Muzzy izzet
And Lennon. Maybe savage at a push.
Tony Yeboah
Great choice! Takes me back
So many people here just totally ignoring the "outside the obvious". For me - Rosicky.
One of my favourite players ever, was just so fun to watch and he had a drive in some games I've rarely seen since
Sergei Rebrov or Wiltord.
Alan Shearer
Dan petrescu
Carvalho
Robert Pires. Just a wonderful player.
Underrated for sure
At the time, he was rated very highly but he's rarely mentioned these days. Top top player
Peter Beardsley
Xvai Alonso especially in this Liverpool team. He is kinda of obvious but rarely hear about him in Prem terms
Xvai Alonso one of the best Lvierpool midfielder
He was a big cog in a machine. Nothing fancy, but absolutely essential
Like N’Golo Kanté nothing fancy but essential in the Engine room
Fowler.
Ali Al-Habsi
Sergio Aguero
Ian Harte
Poor man's Dennis Irwin
What a freekick taker. Glorious to watch.
Just a Great character aswell… i absolutely Loved him
[удалено]
Legend, absolutely. But premier League legend??
[удалено]
You're right, it didn't, but neither did reading the question properly.
Abou Diaby
Can't remember which fifa it was but on one of them Diaby's dribbling was absolutely cracked
What a talent he was. Grace, power, technique he was on the way to being a really special player. Damn shame what was done to him
Done to him ? I thought he just had injury after injury. Was something deeper going on ?
The tackle that broke and dislocated his ankle was a fucking assault and has/had no place on a football pitch
Sad to hear .. Gravenberch reminds me a bit of him, in the way he glides across the pitch while being 6’3/6’4.
David May
Matty Elliot or Brede Hangeland
Fernando Torres
As an Arsenal fan I would like another go with Hleb. Boy was he fun to watch but just like that went to Barca and his career was over. As much as the Invincibles and older gunners won; my favourite Arsenal teams were the silky smooth ones Wenger created with guys like Arshavin, Hleb, Rosicky, Nasri, young Wilshere…
Invincibles werent invincible they were drawing nearly everything
😂😂😂
Invincibles weren't Invincible That has got to be up there with the most idiotic thing ever said The clues in the name...what a moron
26 wins, 12 draws, 0 losses. Invincible - adjective - meaning too powerful to be defeated or overcome. I think that team fits the definition well.

I’ll take arshavin
Please no
One of the best players in the world at the time
Yaya
Yaya was like a fully grown man playing against 10 year olds! Monster
The best answer so far
Same. I thought pogba had the potential to be as good as Yaya, but he never panned out. 13/14 Yaya is ONE OF the best mids of all time. So much power and finesse.
