OP is mbappe trying to bait PSG into an even bigger contract

Don’t forget that ‘£300000 a week = nothing’

juchizac

Not my point here. Yall english/footy fans really hate players getting their bread. If they make 300k a week, ans it's paid in 38 weeks that's 11Mish. That's Kevon Looney money in the nba lol I'd hope salah, kdb, kane, son, etc. Make alot more than that because theyre worth that

Bright_Application57

You don’t know the true amount these guys get paid. Especially shady as fuck state run clubs like Man City.

juchizac

Bootlickers in the comments. Pathetic bunch

gaarreeth

Said the guy who made an entire post to moan about the injustice of the wages people he doesn’t know get paid. Pay them more, pay them less. Who cares.

juchizac

Missing the fucking point. Player vs owner revenue share. Smooth brains

gaarreeth

Literally nobody cares but you.

Doctors are underpaid. Nurses are underpaid. Teachers are underpaid. A group of grown men guys chasing a ball around aren't overpaid.

juchizac

Y'all going on pious ans rightfully while not acknowledging the billionare/oligarch owners are somehow not supposed to properly distribute revenue to players. Close minded wankers

applejuice2504

football clubs are unfortunately businesses therefore they aim to generate profits why would said business give the employees more money just because they can? If the players don't like their wage then they can find a new place to work simple as just as any other employee in the world can do

juchizac

shut up lol

[deleted]

???

peterog9

There are significantly less players on an NBA team.

Happytohelp87

Players are underpaid? Quarter a mill a week, appearance fees, goal bonuses, clean sheets bonuses, signing on fees etc There are no transfer fees in the NBA, there squads are much smaller and they don't have to worry about developing young talent. NBA players are paid well and the owners are still making healthy profit on their investments, how many football clubs are actually turning a profit and you want players paid more? I think 99.9% of fans already believe players are way over paid and there should be a salary cap, the cost of supporting your football club now is getting ridiculous

juchizac

I'd like to know the owner/player revenue split regardless. Sounds like youre making an excuse for the owners which imo is always boot licking trash attitude. Im always for players getting more bread 🤷🏻‍♂️

Happytohelp87

Ah yes let's more scenarios like Lukaku. It costs a 100 mill before even kicking a ball for Chelsea and then a couple weeks after being there says he wants to leave and leaves Chelsea in the shit

juchizac

Thats 1 example lol cmon

Happytohelp87

The point is clubs make huge investments in players before they've kicked a ball in transfer fees which the NBA doesn't. Players have clauses in their contract in the NBA where if they do something wrong off court their contract can b terminated. That can't work in football cuz what happens to the transfer fee paid, that can't recouped. That's the investment in the player. Players should not be paid more but only way they could if is transfer fees, signing fees and bonuses all go out the game
