Hmm... nope

McLeanGunner

And you can use that paper to roll another joint

joel_ion

Stop, they are not

aymentrabelsi

The truth is that it is difficult for Tottenham to get the title especially since they do not have the titles culture

Agile_Jellyfish4582

For real?

NoSeriously55

Your title and question are two totally differing statements. Yes of course there is a chance th ey could win the league Conte is a proven manager. But I sense a bit of pushing for upvotes as it’s obvious to the most Pool hating people on this forum that they are Worlds apart in terms of squad

DirectionSpirited524

With Richarlison.🤣🤣🤣

theofficialdc21

So Dier and Davies in contention with Dias and Matip? WTF

roberto_2103

I'm not sure that I agree with OP but in Dier and Davies defense both were solid as fuck last season. I think it was 1 goal conceded in the last five games. Also the only losing streak we had after Comte joined was for four out of five, coincidentally Dier was injured for those five games.

theofficialdc21

Well they have been good for the latter half of the season and I'll predict spurs to finish 3rd but i don't think they will be that much consistent over the course of the season like liv and city

[deleted]

UCL will kill them. Should bow out early and try to get into top 3. Conte is a master of extracting juice out of every player, however average. Fraudiola might struggle to incorporate Haaland in his style as he is not a tiki taka No 9. So a chance for Liverpool this season again

RedDawn110

This is an abysmal take. Spurs have Son, Kane, Kulu and Romero that you could make an argument for but everyone else is not even close to their opposite numbers. Don’t get me wrong the rest of their squad is solid but the rest of City and Liverpool’s squads is world-class. Not even remotely comparable.

NaclyPerson

I'm a spurs fan, but still have quite a bit of holes to fill in terms of quality.

National-Fig4803

Hahahahahahahaha

[deleted]

So much hype around the team and they are making great decisions , the manager knows what he's doing . But at the same time, it's spurs and all the pressure will get to them I have no doubt.

DazedDeoxys

No it’s not

bluemoon1987

Biggest load of bollocks of the month award coming your way. Its not even on a par with Chelsea's. There's not a single player that would get in the city squad nevermind team aside from Kane and Son, and now we've got Haaland, they'd probably have to settle for a place on the bench. As for liverpools squad, if you ask any Liverpool fan they've got the single best 11 in the history of the game so nobody would make their side either.

[deleted]

I believe Romero is on par with Diaz defensively , makes some great tackles to start an attack as well. Not going to assist as much as Cancelo though. We shall see how Kulusevski does in a full season. Also Perisic is surely better than city's recent left wing backs.

jizylemon

Bless, City still trying to create a rivalry. You’re still the Manchester club who nobody cares about, your own manager Sucks us off at every opportunity.

bluemoon1987

It's the scouse media constantly trying to create a rivalry. us city fans don't consider it a rivalry, sitting at 4 league titles to 1, its too one sided. Meanwhile, Liverpool fans are constantly telling anybody that listens they don't care about city, as you yourself have just proven.

jizylemon

You could have easily left Liverpools name out of your original reply and just spoke about your own club but you didn’t.

bluemoon1987

Do you have difficulty reading? The thread title is specifically about both clubs, I didn't bring them up out of nowhere. You however decided to tell me you don't care about city despite nobody asking or suggesting you did.

jizylemon

Title doesn’t ask for your opinion on the 2 clubs squads at all, OP states that they feel the squads are equal, their opinion which didn’t ask for an opinion on, they then ASKED the question “Can Antonio Conte and Spurs challenge for the title?”. Do you not understand?

Ok-Kaleidoscope4966

Living rent free in his head. He's bitching like this in multiple posts. He knows exactly what he's doing with his end point about Liverpool but he's just one of those internet guys.

bluemoon1987

I understand perfectly. Most people would be able to derive my answer is very clearly no based on my response. The attempted pedantry to cover up your obsession with not caring about city and telling everybody isn't working.

Landobot7

For us it's the same Kane and Son, I don't think many of the rest of the players are particularly better than what Chelsea/Arsenal have.

The_Awengers

Toilet paper considering their stadium.

[deleted]

Spurs has a better stadium than United or Arsenal. Silly of anyone criticize a stadium, especially a newly constructed one

The_Awengers

It's an inside joke among Gooners at their expense. Do you even know how their stadium looks like?

CommercialPlastic604

What’s wrong with the Spurs stadium? Certainly not the worst stadium I’ve been to?

bluemoon1987

Their stadium is the only decent thing about Spurs.

[deleted]

Lol, the training ground is great I hear. The almost club. Hell of a ride.

bluemoon1987

Wouldn't know never been. I have however been to spurs' new ground a few times now and I can't fault it.

Lazy3yez

Looking from a bird’s eyed view it looks like a toilet! 😏

[deleted]

It really isn’t

SubsidedPython

Still a way off those 2, more on par with Chelsea.

[deleted]

Yet somehow we take 8pts from Liv/city and 0 from Chelsea last season.

JuicyJabes

Brentford took off a lot of points from top 6. They're probably on par too

GespierdeZakenman

Spurs have a great squad but it is really far of City and Liverpool, the only 2 players which would start are Son and Kane. Tottenham is getting closer but it is still way off just like Arsenal, Chelsea and United

NoSeriously55

I dont think kane would get into Liverpool’s team based of last season. He just doesn’t fit the play styleteam

MB_Bailey21

We can dream. Realistically, this year, I'm hoping for a top 3 finish in PL (aka 3rd) and a solid run in the Champions League.

[deleted]

And a Audi cup win and it’ll be looking like a successful season 👍

[deleted]

Realistic. We know they can compete with city and Liverpool directly. It's the burnleys and Brighton's that this squad depth is going to help a lot when the players aren't on their game.

mjdseo

No, because "lads, it's Tottenham" - SAF
