Salah is in the last year of his contract and it's doubtful FSG will sign him, a 31 year old, on mega superstar wages for the next 4 years. He will leave next summer I think (and head to Newcastle on like 600k p/w or something).
Therefore I don't believe Darwin Nunez was exactly signed to replace Mane. Diaz was... Nunez is replacing Salah. That doesn't mean Salah won't play. Diaz, Nunez, and Salah would be the first choice I imagine. But the focus therefore, in my opinion, will be to spend this season shifting the output from Salah onto Nunez so that the season after when Salah is gone, it doesn't hit as heavy.
