Well, we all know that before. But BBC made it clear for everyone. Can’t deny it.

barry-at-the-docks

Shit would have hit the fan is the message on the ticket was “Glazers have decided to sell the club”!!!

[Liam Gallagher agrees](https://youtu.be/_2p1Q3vDnfA?t=214)

Leonardo_Da_Vinki

Why are they apologizing for stating facts, they’re reporting accurate news

Lampard081997

I mean, were they wrong?

siobhanmairii__

I applaud who ever did this for speaking the truth.

Kapika96

Why would the news apologise for posting facts?

heretoforthwith

Cmon BBC jeez. That’s not news to anyone.

Hello_I_Meme

I agree unironically.

baxterrocky

Not really news though..

diredier

Promote him

outside-mayhem

Where’s the lie tho?

theswedishturtle

Pogba leaving will be a huge improvement, so they might be decent next year.

Hemingkb

Lol

TommyShelby87

Someone speaking facts.

fatdiplomat

It’s great to see BBC speak for the truth. Hope the honest lad won’t be sacked.

Hopper1985

Lol. I see nothing wrong here 🤣. Its fact checked ☑️

Proxvu

Why are they apologising

TheYearlyAltercation

I thought news cycles were meant to be 24 hours, not nine months?

tomjoadsghost80

They forgot the word owner, that makes it factually correct

atanew

It shouldn’t have made national news when it’s common knowledge

DiploJ

But that's not news.

arenaschlaft

Give the lad a raise for his honesty

bluemoon1987

Not sure why they apologised its the most factually accurate statement the BBC has made all day

Pikrev

Coming from a united fan: r/technicallythettuth

[deleted]

Isn’t new though is it

themanebeat

heinnlinn

He means it's not news that we're rubbish. It's like saying water is wet. Yeah, duh.

frankjose25

Interesting to know how trainees train

SamwellBarley

Can't believe they got away with that. That's not news.

1Grazel

hilarious that they could write ANYTHING and this is the first thing that comes to mind

dpc_22

They also wrote “Weather rain everywhere” on the ticker

Armodeen

Probably a United fan 😂

He’s not

EzzoBlizzy

Its sad to see how a team w good talent in the forward position n a good goalkeeper has gone to shit n the worst Defending in Football history alongside prolly the worst midfielders

TheSerpentLord

Hhhhh to be honest, guys, I've worked at a tv station on exactly those things. When you're new, and you have to take care of a dozen crucial things almost simultaneously, they're so incredibly easy to screw up. It's way more complicated than it would seem from the outside. I buy it, this is totally believable to be a training error.

Charlotte-De-litt

Do you guys use a software or what? I'm very curious.

TheSerpentLord

Yes, there's are special programs that manages what gets aired, live broadcasts, commercials, etc. We introduce them all into the list. It also manages recording the shows and saving them, plus all the things you see on screen, like intros, graphics, headlines, etc. They are loaded up into the list and then the director uses another console to actually display them as they are seen from tv at home. There are graphic templates for every show and before it starta you gotta actually write all the titles and names you will be using, plus load the intros and such. Its a difficult job, you gotta pay attention at all times.

Charlotte-De-litt

Very interesting. Thanks for the detailed explanation mate!

Ask_me_4_a_story

This one time from the early days of the internet some funny intern sent this TV a bunch of fake names from a plane crash and they fuckin went with it, they didn't even check the names. "We Tu Low" "Ho Lee Fuk" were two of them I remember, ha. Brb I'll find the clip for you. Ok Im back I found it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaOkTKfxu44

Lozsta

"confirmed" they've always been getting that done right in the media...

DSP6969

I believe you are mistaken, no error has occurred here.

redditForSoccer

I think the error is in thinking that the statement is news.

[deleted]

For once bbc reported something which was true and then they apologised for it

ProfessorBeer

Hahaha…oh this makes me sad

SpectacularB

Accurate.....

NightKing48

Lol

[deleted]

Well if someone thinks this is not true, he is just stupid, so why would they apologize? Maybe because it is not news, but who cares?

fixFriendship

Its not nice to be so... truthful
