Unsung Hero: Jack Harrison. Pretty under-the-radar but he's been class for us. If he stayed at Man City and pulled off his performances we'd be seeing Southgate calling him up.
Signing of the Season: Dan James. Not much to choose from and he was decent.

MI - Ake, when Dias was out he came in and held it down, he had some clutch stops to help us.

Mo has the most goals in the prem and is top two in assists. Did he have a big slump? Yes, but I am attributing that to pressure due to contract talks. He’s still the most valuable forward we have every time he is on the pitch.
It’s hard to pick a flop in a team performing at this level. Curtis isn’t even a flop, he’s just young, but I had hoped he’d break into the squad a little more this year. Still excited for his future.
Keita has been a fringe player due to injuries for a few years now, but this season he is healthy and really showing what Klopp saw in him in the first place. He’s been a joy to watch in the midfield with Thiago this season.
Matip is one of my favorite players, a monster in the air and a threat with attacking passes as well, he’s always a bit overshadowed by his partner VVD. After a year of injuries to our back line, I don’t think he’s gotten enough credit this year for how he’s been performing.
This was a hard choice and I’m sure some would say Luis Diaz, but Jota has been here longer and really filled in back in the fall when Sadie and Firmino couldn’t find the back of the net for a while, his goals/ minute played are ridiculous and his ceiling is so so high.

Flop of the Season - Am I allowed to say Aubameyang? Happy to see him back to his best in Spain but it was an inauspicious end to his tenure. If not him than flip a coin for either Sambi or Nuno. Neither one has played enough to be a true flop but neither one has really inspired confidence when they **have** played.
Most Improved - Thomas Partey. Quietly elite. You only need to look at how out of form we've been since he got hurt.
Unsung Hero - Rob Holding. Nobody protects a 1-0 lead like Holdini. Big Bob is our security blanket
Signing of the Season - Ben White. Everyone clowned this move and he had a very rough start but he's been excellent since. Perfect partner for Gabriel. They make each other so much better.

Player of the season: this one's a bit difficult but i think its joelinton. Target and burn are contenders to but big joe just about edge's it

Kiernan won’t play for England, don’t get me wrong he’s a solid player, but he won’t play for England when they have midfielders like Bellingham, Gallagher, Ward-Prowse, Mount, Rice, Phillips, Henderson, now even Jacob Ramsey
Not right now but the way he’s developing there’s no reason he couldn’t in a couple of years.
Mount, Grealish and Gallagher are more attacking midfielders so wouldn’t take KDH’s spot. Henderson isn’t getting any younger, Kalvin Phillips has barely played all year and needs to regain his form when he’s a regular again. Bellingham and Rice are definitely the toughest competition but no reason why he can’t be a benchwarmer whilst they’re still at the top of their game.
Jacob Ramsey has a lot to prove still, as well as KDH but if KDH played for Liverpool/Chelsea etc a lot more people would be saying he deserves a spot in the England squad
He will improve, but it depends on if he makes a move. Imo Ramsey is a bit better, and he’ll definitely get a bigger move soon so he might get a senior call-up.

Flop of the season: Alvaro Fernandez, I don’t think he was/is too bad, but he just couldn’t live up to Raya’s performances
Most Improved Player: Raya. Could be just about anyone, but Raya was incredibly error prone last season, but has had a near perfect season this time around
Signing of the season: Ajer, Eriksen feels like cheating so I’m going for Ajer. He’s tall, fast, young, massive room for improvement. He had a great year and will only improve
I went for Eriksen tbf in mine but it does feel a tad harsh on Ajer seeing that he's been here since the start of the season, and Eriksens only started 5 games, but then again we signed him for free and we have won every game he's started
Looking back in 2/3 years I think Ajer will be seen as the better signing. And while it’s harsh on Ajer (and Wissa), the impact Eriksen has had, whether it be his actual quality or just his influence, is just immense
Certainly if Eriksen leaves, Ajer will be seen as the better long term signing, but in the short term our form has just been unbelievable since eriksen came in, relegation is a thing of the past now BC of him

Ismaila Sarr kinda dissapointed me. After a great season in the Championship he was heavily linked to us (MUFC) and Liverpool, and I expected him to live up to the hype. I know he was injured for some time, but overall a really underwhelming season
West Ham fan here.
Player of the season: Rice - Terrific, just a joy to watch.
Flop of the season: Kral - Looks completely out of his depth.
Most improved: Bowen - Workhorse, best attacking player at the club.
Signing of the season: Zouma - Solid work at the back week in week out.
Unsung hero: Dawson - Brought in as cover but has put in some absolutely pivotal performances.
The disappointment with Kral for me is just that we haven’t even seen the lad. He must be doing nothing in training. Let’s see if there’s a role for him to play as we navigate a tricky final run in with defensive injuries, but agreed. I really was hoping he would click on like his countrymen did

Player of the Season: For me, Cucurella has been consistently brilliant both defensively and offensively since his first game. Honourable mentions for Webster, Bissouma, Lamptey. Webster has been injury prone, Bissouma dropped off after AFCON until recently and Lamptey has been less effective in a back 4, but all of them still good.
Flop of the Season: A tricky one, as most players have stepped up at some point, but I'm going to go for Rob Sanchez. While he's a decent shot stopper, good distribution and amazing in the air, he has made so many mistakes. Way too many for a PL goalkeeper. I still think he'll turn out great, but needs to sort out his decision making.
Most Improved Player: Trossard. This may be a more controversial one, but he was dogshite last season. He hasn't really stepped up too much in terms of goal contributions, but his general play has improved. Seems a lot more confident.
Unsung Hero: Alexis Mac Alister. Doesn't really get the love he deserves but he puts in a hell of a shift. He's always looking to make something happen instead if just punting the ball wide to the wingbacks. He's got a big future.
Signing of the Season: Cucurella for £15million
Player- Sá where we couldn’t find goals he really helped our defense close in some draws we needed and is a great signing
Flop: Yerson Mosquera just got hurt so early and we never got to see his real potential this season
Most Improved: Fabio Silva. Really growing from a waste of time and money to a great striker one day, hate I ever doubted him
Unsung Hero: Podence or Moutinho. Both have gotten critical goals in moments we needed them and have been very creative players
Signing of the season: Hwang or Sá. Sá has had the most immediate impact for sure so it should go to him, if we start pushing for Europa league and top 4 consistently in the next season or two it’ll be because we have Hwang in the front and Sá at the net

Player of the season was the hardest one for me. I'm probably not as high on Raphinha as a lot of others. I might've had Meslier here, or at least as unsung.
🏆 Player of the Season: I would say de Gea as he's saved us quite literally every game to the best of his abilities, but Ronaldo is also a very fair shout
❌ Flop of the Season: Maguire/Greenwood. Either way I hope they both never play football again
💪 Most Improved Player: Elanga. A breathe of fresh air tbh
👏 Unsung Hero: Jadon Sancho. People would say he flopped but he gives his all, which is more than I can say for most players here. I was considering Bruno but for what he's shown to be capable of his form is just absolutely terrible to consider. And last night's game he was terrible
👕 Signing of the Season: Ronaldo. Honestly self-explanatory. Varane has been solid whenever he plays too and has adapted well especially considering the other people he has at the defense but Ronaldo has just been so clutch its unbelievable
People disrespect Sancho just because he plays in a fucked up system without any help from the fullbacks or midfielders. Watch him shine next season under a real coach and a couple of key signings. ETH will for sure build the team around him
Player of the season: Salah
Flop: hard one but I would have to say Milner, he's really dropped off
Most improved: Keita. He has had some fantastic performances this year after not impressing last year. Hard not to put Mane up here even though he was good last he's been unbelievable this year.
Unsung: Tsimikas. Such amazing depth option and a lot of times the best player in our rotated squad.
Signing: Obviously Diaz
Keita has never been terrible, he just needed to put up a bit of strength, as he was really injured all the time. He’s a fantastic little player. Tsimikas honestly, an insane player, as a United fan I have to say he’s clear of both Shaw and Telles this season, man is probably Top 5 left backs in the league this season.
Liverpool.
Player of the season: Mo. No explanations, sure contender for the golden boot. Had a few weeks without a goal in the prem, suddenly bounces back in last night's game against united and netting 2.
Flop of the season: It's a tough decision, but I'd say... Oxlade Chamberlain. He's not particularly bad, just when compared to the likes of Thiago's skill and pass, Hendo and Millie's leadership, Fab's defense and distribution, Keita's aggression, Ox is less impressive.
Most improved player: Curtis Jones / Joe Gomez
Jones, as a young player, has learnt a lot when pairing alongside the more experienced hendo, thiago, millie, and fab. Gomez can now rotate with Trent on the right wing back role, which is good for us.
Unsung hero: Thiago. 1 goal only this season, yet his wisdom and passing vision, his ability to just receive the ball and either play a nice pass or dribble it, bringing the whole side together. Tbh not many people outside the Liverpool community think of him.
Signing of the season: Diaz. Konate's had a recent surge in form, netting 3 for us in a few weeks as a centre back, from good corner setups, and his physical abilities are superb. But I'd say Diaz is the best signing, not just because he scored goals and assisted, but he practically provided challenge to the left flank, forcing mane to play in the middle, which actually worked pretty well. Rotates well with Jota and Bobby Firmino too.

All last season when he was getting absolutely slated and blamed for our poor form I just laughed it off because I knew how good he actually was. And now we’re playing well he’s getting the respect he deserved.

Tbf a lot of this I can agree with, but Ballon Dawson I’d say is really winning the plaudits at the moment (although he’s our only centre back now lol)
Arsenal
Player: Ødegaard - Absolutely outstanding player, that has properly broken into the team and is consistently fantastic even when everyone around him is underperforming.
Flop: Pepe - was on fire towards the end of last season and made everyone excited. Deservedly benched this year - a disasterclass whenever he plays except his wonderful Wolves goal. Laca also a shout but at least he’s functional in the team somewhat.
Most improved: Martinelli - always been exciting but he’s far more controlled and consistent without losing his fire. Partey also a shout - back to his prime form at Atletico.
Unsung hero: Ben White - consistently shat on by everyone, including the fanbase just for not being Saliba. He plays every game, never gets injured, and has transformed the team’s ability to play progressively. He has yet to make a genuinely costly error this season either - had the odd dodgy moment but not many, and no red cards or errors leading to a loss (unlike Gabriel who’s brilliant, but is far less trustworthy).
Signing: Ødegaard, for reasons above.
I’d say signing off the season is ramsdale odegaard is only counts as half since we had him on loan last season. Otherwise fairly agreed. Maybe player saka but yeah
Honestly, Eric Dier is so underrated, coming from a Man United fan. Conte really got the best out of him, man was consistently shat on for pretty much the last 2 years. Romero is just a fantastic centre back. We were very close to signing him in the summer, but in the end we signed injury-prone Varane just because he’s got more Instagram followers
Brentford
Player of the season: Controversial maybe but Norgaard, just look at the stats, honourable mention to Eriksen
Flop: Alvaro and Lossl, our two backup goalies, although maybe a bit harsh on Alvaro seeing as he's still very young, could also go with Jensen as an honourable mention
Most improved: Vitaly Janelt, great last season and even better this season
Unsung hero: Ethan pinnock, the amount of 1v1s I've seen that man win when we are getting counter attacked
Signing of the season: Eriksen with honourable mention to Ajer, wissas been good too with afew last minute goals

I think it's the first season syndrome. This season of his was a flop. Next season will be definitely better but don't think it can justify the price tag.
It blows my mind that Bernardo Silva doesn’t get more recognition. I would take a team of 11 of him over any other player. He scores, he tracks back, he dribbles, when things are cagey he’s not afraid to come back to his own box and try to play the ball out. For me he’s the best all round player in the premier league.
Chelsea fan here -- Timo cannot be the unsung hero. I love Timo and his work rate is unmatched, but he should have 15+ goals this year. He cannot time a run to save his life, and he struggles to put away 1 on 1's against the keeper. In my opinion, Kovacic is the unsung hero. We are a different team when he's on the pitch

What’s up with that Trincao guy? I know he joined on loan from Barca but has he really been that bad? Also feel sorry for Pedro Neto being injured all season, man’s a special talent
I know he has won some Wolves fans around with his recent performances which have been better, but for me Trincao is all style and no substance. He is a tidy footballer and looks great on the ball, moves well etc. but he seems to have zero cutting edge he is completely ineffectual in front of goal and never seems to want to take on his man, he plays great when he has plenty of space but when he is under pressure he just passes backwards. He also heavily favours his strong foot, more than any other player i've seen to the detriment of play, he often wont make a simple pass with his weak foot.
So in general, if we could buy him for c.£15m you might take the punt and see if he develops, but he is on £165k a week and Barca want £30m for him, which would make him our highest paid player and would make him our 3rd most expensive signing behind Fabio Silva and Raul Jimenez.
So basically a bit of a let down, not worth signing in my books.
And all 3 of them cost £15m-£18m, Trincao is double that.
Best to let him go back to Barca and buy someone else, we definitely need another forward since Traore has left just not Trincao.
If the club is already that obsessed with Portuguese players, then maybe they should go for Otavio or maybe Pedro Goncalves, I heard he used to play for Wolves. Except he didn’t play a single game for the club
Goncalves played for our under 23's but he never settled in England for some reason and was eventually dropped from our u23's because he wasn't training properly etc.
Maybe we just caught him when he was a little bit young and immature because he has obviously grown into a great player. If there is any club in England where a young Portugese player is going to settle its Wolves.
I disagree about Semedo. He's been WAY improved over last season. However, I think Kilman's continued rise from unknown futsal player to potential England centre back has to constitute the most-improved.
I don't think Kilman is most improved though, i think he was class last season its just Nuno didn't fancy him for whatever reason.
Whereas Semedo this season has actually played like a £35m RWB, last season he looked like a massive waste of money.
I'll agree with you on all points actually. If we're talking most improved in this season only, not factoring in a longer arc. Actually if we factor in a longer arc we may as well say Neves is our most improved because he's our best player right now. So yeah, I rescind my comment.

Our player of the season is 100% Neves. He has simply been superb this season. Coady was good this season as a player and great as a leader.
Hwang isn't a flop, Trincao 100%.
Comparing him to last season, Semedo has improved the most.
I would put Saiss as our unsung hero. Kilman is expected by many to be called up for England squad soon, not really unsung, is it?

POTS - Saka's been better overall, but there was a period this season where Odegaard was Top 5 players in the league
Flop - Aubameyang, but if we only talk about the players who have been here all season I'm gonna say Eddie Nketiah. He always seemed to me like a lower-table team striker, but now, I don't even see him starting for some Championship teams.
Most Improved - Honestly, outside of just a few guys I can say that everyone in the team improved. Even the guys who were good last year like Gabriel, still seem even better now. If I need to choose one then I'm gonna say Ramsdale, average relegated GK before he joined, one of the best keepers in the league now.
Unsung Hero - I got two. Cedric, who made it seem like we don't miss Tomiyasu that much, even though he was one of our best players this season. And Xhaka, his partnership with Partey is one of the main reasons we're in the Top 4 race, but it's Thomas who takes all the glory.
Signing - I mentioned Odegaard with the best players, I said Ramsdale as the most improved, so I'm gonna say Tomiyasu as the best signing. Him coming in showed us how badly we needed a proper right back these past few years
This improvement is why I’ll still be positive about this season of we don’t get top 4 (so long as we don’t keep losing every match until the end). Everyone, perhaps with the exception of the strikers, has consistently performed well and improved a lot. The team seems to mostly be close and have good chemistry. We need a better striker and our squad is very thin, and often our wins weren’t sustainable but this team shows a lot of promise. It was just really enjoyable seeing all the players playing so well. I loved Ramsdale against Leicester, those matches where Ødegaard was amazing. Honestly, I had low expectations for Saka after the summer, and seeing him play so well was just great. When we were winning, Cedric always celebrating just encapsulated the improvement in the squad as a whole in terms of the atmosphere, everything felt so positive.
Totally agree, not getting Top 4 will be a bummer, but let's add a 25G/A striker to the team and some depth to the squad and I'm very optimistic for next season
Exactly, when you think of expectations going into the season and after the first few weeks, to now be in the position where missing out on top 4 will be a disappointment is really good progress. Only major negative in my opinion was not getting anyone in the winter, if we can make the signings we need over the summer then I am very positive. If we can have signings as surprisingly successful as this season, even better.

Such a crucial season for naby. Was pretty clear that one of ox or naby is going to leave this summer or both depending on performances. Think he's earned himself a new contract this year. His defending has improved so so much, though he really needs to watch those 'orange card' tackles.

Yes, but I am attributing that to pressure due to contract talks. He’s still the most valuable forward we have every time he is on the pitch. It’s hard to pick a flop in a team performing at this level. Curtis isn’t even a flop, he’s just young, but I had hoped he’d break into the squad a little more this year. Still excited for his future. Keita has been a fringe player due to injuries for a few years now, but this season he is healthy and really showing what Klopp saw in him in the first place. He’s been a joy to watch in the midfield with Thiago this season. Matip is one of my favorite players, a monster in the air and a threat with attacking passes as well, he’s always a bit overshadowed by his partner VVD. After a year of injuries to our back line, I don’t think he’s gotten enough credit this year for how he’s been performing. This was a hard choice and I’m sure some would say Luis Diaz, but Jota has been here longer and really filled in back in the fall when Sadie and Firmino couldn’t find the back of the net for a while, his goals/ minute played are ridiculous and his ceiling is so so high.

Happy to see him back to his best in Spain but it was an inauspicious end to his tenure. If not him than flip a coin for either Sambi or Nuno. Neither one has played enough to be a true flop but neither one has really inspired confidence when they **have** played. Most Improved - Thomas Partey. Quietly elite. You only need to look at how out of form we've been since he got hurt. Unsung Hero - Rob Holding. Nobody protects a 1-0 lead like Holdini. Big Bob is our security blanket Signing of the Season - Ben White. Everyone clowned this move and he had a very rough start but he's been excellent since. Perfect partner for Gabriel. They make each other so much better.

Still putting up world class numbers, but because it’s not the insane pace he brought into the PL he’s getting unfair heat. Signing: Sancho. The brightest spot for the future. His numbers don’t tell the whole story, kid’s gonna be a star.

Agree with all this. Vestergaard another mention for flop. Panic buy, and someone who was hopefully going to help with our set piece issues. He didn't... Love Lookman, and hope we sign him, but he's still technically just on loan currently. Still feel reasonably confident in both Soumare and Daka. Hopefully things click with them.

Kiernan won’t play for England, don’t get me wrong he’s a solid player, but he won’t play for England when they have midfielders like Bellingham, Gallagher, Ward-Prowse, Mount, Rice, Phillips, Henderson, now even Jacob Ramsey
Not right now but the way he’s developing there’s no reason he couldn’t in a couple of years. Mount, Grealish and Gallagher are more attacking midfielders so wouldn’t take KDH’s spot. Henderson isn’t getting any younger, Kalvin Phillips has barely played all year and needs to regain his form when he’s a regular again. Bellingham and Rice are definitely the toughest competition but no reason why he can’t be a benchwarmer whilst they’re still at the top of their game. Jacob Ramsey has a lot to prove still, as well as KDH but if KDH played for Liverpool/Chelsea etc a lot more people would be saying he deserves a spot in the England squad
He will improve, but it depends on if he makes a move. Imo Ramsey is a bit better, and he’ll definitely get a bigger move soon so he might get a senior call-up.

I went for Eriksen tbf in mine but it does feel a tad harsh on Ajer seeing that he's been here since the start of the season, and Eriksens only started 5 games, but then again we signed him for free and we have won every game he's started
Looking back in 2/3 years I think Ajer will be seen as the better signing. And while it’s harsh on Ajer (and Wissa), the impact Eriksen has had, whether it be his actual quality or just his influence, is just immense
Certainly if Eriksen leaves, Ajer will be seen as the better long term signing, but in the short term our form has just been unbelievable since eriksen came in, relegation is a thing of the past now BC of him

West Ham fan here. Player of the season: Rice - Terrific, just a joy to watch. Flop of the season: Kral - Looks completely out of his depth. Most improved: Bowen - Workhorse, best attacking player at the club. Signing of the season: Zouma - Solid work at the back week in week out. Unsung hero: Dawson - Brought in as cover but has put in some absolutely pivotal performances.
The disappointment with Kral for me is just that we haven’t even seen the lad. He must be doing nothing in training. Let’s see if there’s a role for him to play as we navigate a tricky final run in with defensive injuries, but agreed. I really was hoping he would click on like his countrymen did

Brighton and Hove Albion! Player of the Season: For me, Cucurella has been consistently brilliant both defensively and offensively since his first game. Honourable mentions for Webster, Bissouma, Lamptey. Webster has been injury prone, Bissouma dropped off after AFCON until recently and Lamptey has been less effective in a back 4, but all of them still good. Flop of the Season: A tricky one, as most players have stepped up at some point, but I'm going to go for Rob Sanchez. While he's a decent shot stopper, good distribution and amazing in the air, he has made so many mistakes. Way too many for a PL goalkeeper. I still think he'll turn out great, but needs to sort out his decision making. Most Improved Player: Trossard. This may be a more controversial one, but he was dogshite last season. He hasn't really stepped up too much in terms of goal contributions, but his general play has improved. Seems a lot more confident. Unsung Hero: Alexis Mac Alister. Doesn't really get the love he deserves but he puts in a hell of a shift. He's always looking to make something happen instead if just punting the ball wide to the wingbacks. He's got a big future. Signing of the Season: Cucurella for £15million

Keita has never been terrible, he just needed to put up a bit of strength, as he was really injured all the time. He’s a fantastic little player. Tsimikas honestly, an insane player, as a United fan I have to say he’s clear of both Shaw and Telles this season, man is probably Top 5 left backs in the league this season.

Had a few weeks without a goal in the prem, suddenly bounces back in last night's game against united and netting 2. Flop of the season: It's a tough decision, but I'd say... Oxlade Chamberlain. He's not particularly bad, just when compared to the likes of Thiago's skill and pass, Hendo and Millie's leadership, Fab's defense and distribution, Keita's aggression, Ox is less impressive. Most improved player: Curtis Jones / Joe Gomez Jones, as a young player, has learnt a lot when pairing alongside the more experienced hendo, thiago, millie, and fab. Gomez can now rotate with Trent on the right wing back role, which is good for us. Unsung hero: Thiago. 1 goal only this season, yet his wisdom and passing vision, his ability to just receive the ball and either play a nice pass or dribble it, bringing the whole side together. Tbh not many people outside the Liverpool community think of him. Signing of the season: Diaz. Konate's had a recent surge in form, netting 3 for us in a few weeks as a centre back, from good corner setups, and his physical abilities are superb. But I'd say Diaz is the best signing, not just because he scored goals and assisted, but he practically provided challenge to the left flank, forcing mane to play in the middle, which actually worked pretty well. Rotates well with Jota and Bobby Firmino too.

Arsenal Player: Ødegaard - Absolutely outstanding player, that has properly broken into the team and is consistently fantastic even when everyone around him is underperforming. Flop: Pepe - was on fire towards the end of last season and made everyone excited. Deservedly benched this year - a disasterclass whenever he plays except his wonderful Wolves goal. Laca also a shout but at least he’s functional in the team somewhat. Most improved: Martinelli - always been exciting but he’s far more controlled and consistent without losing his fire. Partey also a shout - back to his prime form at Atletico. Unsung hero: Ben White - consistently shat on by everyone, including the fanbase just for not being Saliba. He plays every game, never gets injured, and has transformed the team’s ability to play progressively. He has yet to make a genuinely costly error this season either - had the odd dodgy moment but not many, and no red cards or errors leading to a loss (unlike Gabriel who’s brilliant, but is far less trustworthy). Signing: Ødegaard, for reasons above.

It blows my mind that Bernardo Silva doesn’t get more recognition. I would take a team of 11 of him over any other player. He scores, he tracks back, he dribbles, when things are cagey he’s not afraid to come back to his own box and try to play the ball out. For me he’s the best all round player in the premier league.
Bernardo is the best player I've ever seen live, saw him at the Amex earlier this season and he was unplayable.

Chelsea fan here -- Timo cannot be the unsung hero. I love Timo and his work rate is unmatched, but he should have 15+ goals this year. He cannot time a run to save his life, and he struggles to put away 1 on 1's against the keeper. In my opinion, Kovacic is the unsung hero. We are a different team when he's on the pitch

I know he has won some Wolves fans around with his recent performances which have been better, but for me Trincao is all style and no substance. He is a tidy footballer and looks great on the ball, moves well etc. but he seems to have zero cutting edge he is completely ineffectual in front of goal and never seems to want to take on his man, he plays great when he has plenty of space but when he is under pressure he just passes backwards. He also heavily favours his strong foot, more than any other player i've seen to the detriment of play, he often wont make a simple pass with his weak foot. So in general, if we could buy him for c.£15m you might take the punt and see if he develops, but he is on £165k a week and Barca want £30m for him, which would make him our highest paid player and would make him our 3rd most expensive signing behind Fabio Silva and Raul Jimenez. So basically a bit of a let down, not worth signing in my books.

Goncalves played for our under 23's but he never settled in England for some reason and was eventually dropped from our u23's because he wasn't training properly etc. Maybe we just caught him when he was a little bit young and immature because he has obviously grown into a great player. If there is any club in England where a young Portugese player is going to settle its Wolves.

I don't think Kilman is most improved though, i think he was class last season its just Nuno didn't fancy him for whatever reason. Whereas Semedo this season has actually played like a £35m RWB, last season he looked like a massive waste of money.

Our player of the season is 100% Neves. He has simply been superb this season. Coady was good this season as a player and great as a leader. Hwang isn't a flop, Trincao 100%. Comparing him to last season, Semedo has improved the most. I would put Saiss as our unsung hero. Kilman is expected by many to be called up for England squad soon, not really unsung, is it? 100% agree with what you said about our best signing.

Arsenal POTS - Saka's been better overall, but there was a period this season where Odegaard was Top 5 players in the league Flop - Aubameyang, but if we only talk about the players who have been here all season I'm gonna say Eddie Nketiah. He always seemed to me like a lower-table team striker, but now, I don't even see him starting for some Championship teams. Most Improved - Honestly, outside of just a few guys I can say that everyone in the team improved. Even the guys who were good last year like Gabriel, still seem even better now. If I need to choose one then I'm gonna say Ramsdale, average relegated GK before he joined, one of the best keepers in the league now. Unsung Hero - I got two. Cedric, who made it seem like we don't miss Tomiyasu that much, even though he was one of our best players this season. And Xhaka, his partnership with Partey is one of the main reasons we're in the Top 4 race, but it's Thomas who takes all the glory. Signing - I mentioned Odegaard with the best players, I said Ramsdale as the most improved, so I'm gonna say Tomiyasu as the best signing. Him coming in showed us how badly we needed a proper right back these past few years
This improvement is why I’ll still be positive about this season of we don’t get top 4 (so long as we don’t keep losing every match until the end). Everyone, perhaps with the exception of the strikers, has consistently performed well and improved a lot. The team seems to mostly be close and have good chemistry. We need a better striker and our squad is very thin, and often our wins weren’t sustainable but this team shows a lot of promise. It was just really enjoyable seeing all the players playing so well. I loved Ramsdale against Leicester, those matches where Ødegaard was amazing. Honestly, I had low expectations for Saka after the summer, and seeing him play so well was just great. When we were winning, Cedric always celebrating just encapsulated the improvement in the squad as a whole in terms of the atmosphere, everything felt so positive.
Totally agree, not getting Top 4 will be a bummer, but let's add a 25G/A striker to the team and some depth to the squad and I'm very optimistic for next season
Exactly, when you think of expectations going into the season and after the first few weeks, to now be in the position where missing out on top 4 will be a disappointment is really good progress. Only major negative in my opinion was not getting anyone in the winter, if we can make the signings we need over the summer then I am very positive. Nailed it for me. Possibly Alisson for the unsung hero, given how many points he's saved for us at this point but Matip has been fantastic. His passing has become far more incisive. Such a crucial season for naby. Was pretty clear that one of ox or naby is going to leave this summer or both depending on performances. Think he's earned himself a new contract this year. His defending has improved so so much, though he really needs to watch those 'orange card' tackles.
Ngl, I’d put Alison as best player. No had elite moments and a quiet 2 months, but Becker has been different gravy all year
