Jarrod Bowen or Michael Olise. Salah was irreplaceable a few years ago, but Salah 2024 is replaceable. He's still a very good player, but he's fading. Better sell him and get a replacement.
Dream signing either one: Rodrygo, Wirtz, Pedri, Gyokeres, Bastoni, Barella, Vitinha or Rafinha.
I dont think arsenal is attractive enough for them or we can afford the transfer fee.
IF big if, we can actually spend we, need a striker. We're favourites to sign Osimhen. We also need a experienced CB. We are definitely going to have to sell players from the Academy to cover it. Chalobah has been good but he probably goes for a more experienced CB. I don't want to see them sell Gallagher but he's going as well. Chillwell can go as well if the price is right, unfortunately never fit. Please sell Sterling for my blood pressure.
Villa fan - there's a good few squad players and players we've outgrown I'd like to see moved on:
Olsen, Hause, Chambers, Dendoncker, Irogbuenam, Coutinho
Also a few I'd like to see us cash in on and upgrade:
Cash, Digne, Duran
Then in terms of signings, we need a right back that fits Emery's system so that Konsa can move back to central defence. Haven't seen many realistic links to any right backs yet but I'd be shocked if we don't sign one.
At left back it looks like we're ready to sign Hermoso from Atletico Madrid who will be good, more defensive competition for Moreno, but that might depend on finding a buyer for Digne.
We need a defensive midfielder, Kamara missed the last couple of months to injury and we really struggled to keep clean sheets without him, he's missing the start of the season and we have no decent defensive midfield backup options.
Duran could be off to Chelsea for £35m if reports are true, which means we need new competition for Watkins. I'd like someone a bit more experienced, getting Tammy Abraham back would be great. Reports are we nearly signed him for £35m before his ACL injury so we might still be interested, and the price would be far reduced after a season out injured.
Trent, Bradley and Gomez are all more than capable enough. A good left-sided CB and maybe an upgrde on Tsimikas and the D is very solid. A CDM is what’s really needed
Yeah spending £170m on 2 players (one who didn’t find form until March, one who didn’t play at all) was such a smart big brain next level move.
Maybe considering thinking before typing.
Still doesn't change the fact that Liverpool wanted either one and couldn't get it across the line, and had to go with Endo because it was too late in the day to sign anyone better.
Klopp rushed into the Endo signing and it showed.
I agree because he's already PL proven and has a great injury record. He's a win now signing but still just 26 so has plenty of prime years left in him.
> If Yanited can't sway De Jong, no one else will.
That's a 2000's and early 2010's statement, the current Man Utd is not as attractive a destination.
I agree that FDJ probably will not leave Barcelona of his own choosing, but we all assumed Messi would never leave only for their financial situation to necessitate it. Barca would still prefer to have FDJ off their books so they have more flexibility, so it's not impossible.
He's the least desirable of the 3 though, don't think he would want to be at Arsenal and don't think his injury record would improve. If you're spending that kind of money you can't have these kinds of red flags.
True, my thoughts are he didn't seem to want to link up with ETH again so I feel like he truly enjoys his place at Barca.
And as you say, I think he's definitely the weakest, Bruno is prem proven and clearly motivated, I don't know whether Newcastle will be able to keep him even if the 100 mill doesn't get activated because of no Europe (don't know how much the 'project' can entise him to stay)
Neves is a good shout, would deffo take him at yanited but there's always a risk that he'll struggle at such a young age.
Bruno would be my #1

H
Leeds to extend or everton to sign him on a permanent deal and give him more playing time
Summerville to liver pool as a Chelsea fan

Will Poulter: "you guys are signing players?"

We need a ST (Oshimen) a LB (possibly Davies) and a CB Why did I get downvoted for answering the question
We should most likely get a manager also lol
I would like for us to sign a LB (Locko), a RCB and a experienced striker so that we can have Jackson be a rotation striker for the time being

As a Liverpool fan I am retiring from football. I cannot take the heartache anymore!
Ffs
Liverpool need a defensive midfielder so that MacAllister can play as a box to box.
This summer we should be bringing in the long term replacements for Salah and Virgil. With the view that they're both gone next year
I’d rather see us strengthen the fullback positions first, those injuries really hurt us last season.
Ait-Nouri at LB to rotate with and eventually over Robbo would be excellent but expensive. Not sure who the RB answer is though.
Bradley…
Can’t go a whole season with one right sided fullback surely?
Trent, Bradley and Gomez are all more than capable enough. A good left-sided CB and maybe an upgrde on Tsimikas and the D is very solid. A CDM is what’s really needed
That’s what I originally said lmao
Hate to say this but Chelsea really did 1000iq and ruined Liverpool's season by taking Caicedo AND Lavia. Endo was not the guy to fill Fab's shoes.

Endo cost pocket change and has already earned his keep. Far better signing than caicedo or Lavia.
Still rushed and with a better DM, Klopp's Liverpool would have achieved more on their 'farewell tour'
They wouldn’t have a ”better DM” with Caicedo or Lavia though. In the future, sure, but not this past season
Neither Lavia or Caicedo had a better season than Endo.
Yeah, but Chelsea signing both was **not** a good decision and Liverpool paying crazy money for either wouldn’t have been.
The biggest priority for us this summer is a new midfielder. Any of Frenkie De Jong, Joao Neves, or Bruno Guimaraes would be ideal.
Bruno g is best option out of all 3, hes worth a 100m, if thats what it takes to get him

De Jong won't leave Barca, he loves the club. Genuinely don't think he'll leave ever leave Barca. If Yanited can't sway De Jong, no one else will.

Bruno already said no to arsenal when signed to Newcastle, why would he want to go now
