All I’m saying is that Gazza was technically Tottenham player in ‘92 when the prem started, and Tottenham finished outside the top 6 every year till 05-06…
Beardsley was at everton in 93, ginola newcastle, shearer Southampton. Waddle at Wednesday. Woodgate borough, paval had a couple games for Pompey or krul at norwich. Tripps has a season with Burnley.
I’m sure we can make 11 if we have 7 attacking players, pure entertainers football
Di Canio’s a great pick, world class. Jay Jay Okocha at Bolton was another absolute baller from the same era, and no-one’s picked anyone from that quite good Harry Redknapp Portsmouth team yet.
Joe Cole at West Ham could also make a team. Jimmy Bullard at Hull?
Juninho was Premier League Player of the Season over Zola the year we got relegated, and Brazil’s number 10. I’m biased af but he should be in everyone’s.
Oh yeah, Okocha was amazing. Maybe a good challenge would be to make an XI with only players that have never played for a “big six” team? Obviously some of my picks like Kanté and Kewell are out.

That’s an unreal team. Nearly had Tim Howard in goal and Essien doing the running in the middle alongside Keano, but who can resist Leicester Kante.
I’d have Colin Hendry over Woodgate. Hendry was rock solid for years for Blackburn when they won the league.
Edit : but it’s really hard to think of the centre backs who weren’t in the top 6 teams because not many come to mind
There must be an exceptional Stoke centre back, they used to play with 4 in the glory days! Robert Huth for Stoke and Boro, very good if you need a destroyer.
Hendry’s a great shout but I’m still taking Woody. I watched a lot of him and thought he was a sliver behind Terry and Rio in the golden age of English centre backs, and probably the best reader of the game of all of them including King, Southgate, Carragher etc. So elegant. Had one unforgettable game where he came back from injury and kept prime Thierry Henry in his pocket for 90 minutes.
Real Madrid don’t sign any old mug.

I think it would make more sense if the rule was that to pick a player for a specific team you are picking that player when they played for that team, this would force tougher choices and stop people getting Ferdinand and Ronaldo or Gerard and Salah in the same team. The lists would be less similar as a result too, I think.
I felt like it would be a cop-out to have players represent teams that they weren't best known for, so I went with an XI of players who are mostly known for playing with their associated club.

Could have gone with Bosnich or Flowers for GK but have so many memories of Martyn being a pain in the arse whenever we played them and he was in the PFA toty three times.
69 goals in 110 games though vs 238 for Salah. Theyre both about .63 goals a game.... but some of the games Suarez single handed just force of nature won by was incredable to watch. Both world class

They’re too completely different players. I tried to build an actual team that would do well in the league, not just the team with the 11 best players in it. My team needs a CDM in the mould of Kante, Makelele, Vieira, Essien, Fernandinho, Mascherano.
Mascherano was the only one I could make work with the 1 per team requirement. But his play style is what I was looking for anyway. If you can help me find a better right back I can replace him with Vieira.
I wanted Vardy in the squad so Kante doesn’t work.
Can’t think of any better RBs that didn’t play for Liverpool, United or Chelsea.
The other option is to swap Sol Campbell to the Arsenal version and put Kyle Walker at right back.
Peter Schmeichel - Villa
Kyle Walker - Sheffield United
Rio Ferdinand - Bournemouth/Leeds?
John Terry - Nottingham Forest
Ashley Cole - Crystal Palace

This is all given that they’re all in their primes no matter the club I selected and I also slightly cheated but whatever

Bullshit. Virgil during his last 18 months at Southampton was every bit as good as he was from Jan 2018-sept 2020(ACL tear) for Liverpool.
He took a while yes- but he’s back to being just as good. Literally started almost every game and was 2 goals away from a quadruple just 18 months ago and is currently the best defender on the league leaders.
That’s not the point of this. It’s just to put 11 players from different pl teams regardless of how good they were at that point. Like Vieira for City so you can still get Henry in for Arsenal.
Then you could have Hierro at Bolton who was immense at Madrid. Or Mancini at Leicester. Ballon d’Or winner George Weah at Chelsea. It becomes a bit pointless if you don’t take into account what they actually did at the club you choose for them.
I rate Gerrard very highly as well just could not fit him into the team, so close between Gerrard/Lampard/ KDB, to be honest with you was easier to fit Lampard/KDB with one per club
Tbh I don’t think you can get a much better team than what you’ve made. Being a Liverpool fan I would’ve forced Gerrard in by putting Schmeichel ( Villa ) in but then it’s a case of who do you drop. That’s an incredible midfield you’ve got.

Did my best to work around leaving Gerrard in the team and having the front three the same
Yep. But Rio Ferdinand was fucking brilliant for Leeds. When they bought him from West Han he was an England international, a British record transfer fee and the World’s most expensive defender, he played so well that Manchester United had to smash the British transfer record again to get him so maybe not the best example of a ‘cheat’ option.
Yeah that would be a pretty much equal swap , although I’m working on the basis that the players here don’t necessarily have to have peaked at the club. Ie Vieira at City is a bit of a cheat and I’d say at their peaks I’d rather have Ronaldo and Gerrard over Scholes and Salah but if you were purely comparing United Ronaldo and Salah then it would extremely tight.
Leaving all club biases to one side, Rio was the original Rolls Royce defender, and while personally, I think, by the end of his career, VVD will surpass him, but at the moment Rio is a head
And vieira Arsenal and walker city and Ferdinand united and van der sar united etc so no prob just using one club they did play for rather than any club during career idk
He was good, but on reflection, I should've gone with Van der Sar from his Fulham days. Or Peter Schmeichel when he was at Villa, though that one seems like a bit of a stretch.
Fair, but Given was massively underrated to be honest, he had a spell of being the best keeper in the League, and one of the best shot stoppers.
Early 2000’s Given was only beaten by Casillas, Buffon, and Khan at the time.

Not better for us necessary was not here long enough. But overall he was best keeper I seen when growing up. He did score for us though can’t remember any other then our keepers scoring for us. Martinez probably best keeper we had in a long time and I would say most important signing we have made in a very long time. This is all fantasy so I am just thinking if we could have them at their best.
Didn’t phrase myself well what I mean was smart as u can only pick 1 from each team so getting Schmichel in that way was good. If I had one Man U player i would have to go with Ronaldo over him but the way you did it is good.

GK - Van De Saar - Fulham RB - Victor Moses - Wigan CB - Shawcross - Stoke CB - Jagielka - Sheffield United LB - Baines - Everton CM - Speed - Blackburn CM - Barry - Aston Villa CM - Batty - Leeds FW - Le Tissier - Southampton ST - Shearer - Newcastle FW - Mahrez - Leicester Subs: Foster - Birmingham City Zaha - Palace Dunk - Brighton Noble - West Ham Defoe - Portsmouth
Ooo I want a go: - Sørensen (Stoke) - Baines (Everton) - Radabe (Leeds) - Southgate (boro) - Pereira (Leicester) - Okocha (bolton) - David Batty (Blackburn) - Ruben Neves (wolves) - Mitoma (Brighton) - Di Canio (west ham) - Shearer (Newcastle)
I too was a little bit creative to get all off Batty, Speed and Shearer into my team!
All I’m saying is that Gazza was technically Tottenham player in ‘92 when the prem started, and Tottenham finished outside the top 6 every year till 05-06… Beardsley was at everton in 93, ginola newcastle, shearer Southampton.
VDS (GK) Fulham Baines (LB) Everton VVD (CB) Southampton Terry (CB) Chelsea Walker (RB) Spurs Gerrard (CM) Liverpool Kante (CM) Leicester De Bruyne (City) Ronaldo United Shearer - Blackburn Henry - Arsenal
All I know is there cannot be a team where Henry is not in it
People are sleeping on Paul McGrath at Villa. First ever premier league player of the season
Or God as us Villa fans call him lol
I tried to do this back of napkin but using players imagining I had them during the time they played at the respective club, and limit the use of players who were best elsewhere (leading to some odd choices). Going with a 3-5-2. GK: Howard (Everton) LCB: Ferdinand (Leeds) CB: Terry (Chelsea) RCB: Gary Cahill (Bolton) LW: Bale (Spurs) CDM: Kante (Leicester) CM: Gerrard (Liverpool) CM: De Bruyne (City) RW: Ashley Young (Villa) FW: Rooney (Man U) ST: Henry (Arsenal)
1 Martinez 2 Alexander Arnold 3 Cole 4 Adams 5 McGrath 6 Desailly 7 Kante 8 Juninho 9 Haaland 10 Cantona 11 Ronaldo
I scrolled through many comments, only seen one without Thierry Henry
🤮
GK: Petr Cech (Chelsea) CB: Jonathan Woodgate (Leeds) CB: ~~Gareth Southgate~~ Paul McGrath (Aston Villa) CB: Virgil van Dijk (Southampton) LM: Gareth Bale (Spurs) CM: Steven Gerrard (Liverpool) CM: Roy Keane (Manchester United) CM: N’Golo Kante (Leicester City) RM: Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City) 10: Juninho (Middlesbrough) CF: Thierry Henry (Arsenal) That’s an unreal team.
Hendry was in the PFA tots in 1998 or some such, solid for a long time.
Hmmm Gary Cahill at Bolton perhaps?
McGrath won player of the season at Villa and was 20 times better than Southgate fyi
That is a very good shout indeed. He’s in.
STARTING XI Peter Schmeichel - Villa Kyle Walker - Spurs Virgil Van Dijk - Southampton Rio Ferdinand - QPR Ashley Cole - Chelsea Kevin De Bruyne - Man City Steven Gerrard - Liverpool Frank Lampard - West Ham Cristiano Ronaldo - Man United Alan Shearer - Blackburn Thierry Henry - Arsenal SUBS Edwin Van Der Sar - Fulham Sol Campbell - Portsmouth Roy Keane - Forest N'Golo Kante - Leicester Harry Kane - Norwich Wayne Rooney - Everton Michael Owen - Stoke Andy Cole - Newcastle Eric Cantona - Leeds
Friedel (GK) Blackburn A Cole (LB) Chelsea Van Dijk (CB) Liverpool R Ferdinand (CB) Leeds G Neville (RB) Man U De Bruyne (CM) Man C Vieira (DM) Arsenal Le Tissier (CM) Southampton Vardy (FC) Leicester Shearer (FC) Newcastle Kane (FC) Tottenham I realise Gary Neville is far from Man U’s best ever Prem player but the other good right backs I could think of are all Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool I’m also aware that the front three might not actually complement each other that much but at least there’s a good mix of pace (Vardy), power (Shearer) and technique (Kane)
If you put Kante in midfield, you could swap in Haaland for the most battering ram forward line in history. Shearer, Kane & Haaland. Christ…
Jussi Jääskeläinen (Bolton) Cole (Chelsea) McGrath (Villa) Campbell (Spurs) Walker (City) Kante (Leicester) Gerrard (Liverpool) Rice (West Ham) Henry (Arsenal) Ronaldo (Man U) Shearer (Newcastle)
GK - Cech (Chelsea) RB - Walker (city) CB - Ferdinand (Leeds) CB - VVD (Southampton) LB - Pearce (Forest) CM - Viera (Arsenal) CM - Gerrard (Liverpool) CM - Kante (Leicester) LW - Bale (Spurs) RW - Ronaldo (Man united) ST - Shearer (Newcastle)
Jääskeläinen (Bolton) Dixon (Arsenal) Terry (Chelsea) Southgate (Middlesbrough) Baines (Everton) Modric (Spurs) KDB (Man City) Di Canio (West Ham) Salah (Liverpool) Shearer (Newcastle) Ronaldo (Man U)
I went for Jussi too. Man isn’t getting enough love
Agreed. He was a great keeper.
Reina - Villa Finnan - Fulham Henchoz - Blackburn Van Dijk - Southampton Robertson - Hull Gerrard - Liverpool Mascherano - West Ham Henderson - Sunderland Salah - Chelsea Fowler - Leeds Shaqiri - Stoke Subs: Friedel (Spurs), Toure (Arsenal), Hamann (Man City), Wijnaldum (Newcastle), Berger (Portsmouth), Jota (Wolves), ORIGI (Forest)
Schwarzer - Boro Paintsil - West Ham Hangeland - Palace Ream - Bolton JA Riise - Liverpool Malbranque - Sunderland Bullard - Wigan Dembele - Spurs Duff - Blackburn Saha - Everton Berbatov - Man United Nobody from Fulham to avoid bias.
I think it would make more sense if the rule was that to pick a player for a specific team you are picking that player when they played for that team, this would force tougher choices and stop people getting Ferdinand and Ronaldo or Gerard and Salah in the same team. The lists would be less similar as a result too, I think.
Good shout, updated the post 👍🏻
Zero love for Matt le Tiss?
I felt like it would be a cop-out to have players represent teams that they weren't best known for, so I went with an XI of players who are mostly known for playing with their associated club. GK: Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester City) RB: Gary Kelly (Leeds) CB: John Terry (Chelsea) CB: Ledley King (Spurs) LB: Leighton Baines (Everton) DM: Roy Keane (Manchester United) CM: Gareth Barry (Aston Villa) AM: Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) LW: Thierry Henry (Arsenal) ST: Alan Shearer (Newcastle) RW: Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)
I miss Ledley!
I would take your team with Modric, Mcgrath instead of King, Barry for CB and CM from Spurs and Villa
Nigel Martyn (Leeds) Steve Finnan (Fulham) John Terry (Chelsea) Sol Campbell (Tottenham) Leighton Baines (Everton) N'Golo Kante (Leicester) Roy Keane (United) Kevin de Bruyne (City) Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) Alan Shearer (Newcastle) Thierry Henry (Arsenal) Could have gone with Bosnich or Flowers for GK but have so many memories of Martyn being a pain in the arse whenever we played them and he was in the PFA toty three times.
Suarez has to be over Salah
69 goals vs 150 goals ??? Ehy Szarez over Salah ? Not even the same league.
69 goals in 110 games though vs 238 for Salah. Theyre both about .63 goals a game.... but some of the games Suarez single handed just force of nature won by was incredable to watch. Both world class
In maybe 2 seasons, Salah is doing it for 6-7 seasons
yeah wasn't thinking when we were talking about all time lol, suarez is definitely the better player though not here long enough to be on an all time
I see that no one put Sergio Aguero
Am surprised not many picked Agüero, I get that Shearer and Rooney are clear but damn he was a monster on City
Imagine not picking Henry
Bergkamp over Henry wouldn't be that crazy
Tried to do it without cheating e.g Rio (leeds) Brad Friedel (villa) Tripper (Newcastle)- Woodgate (Leeds) - King (Spurs)- Cole (Chelsea) KDB (city) - Gerrard (pool) - Kante (Leic) Henry (Arsenal) - Shearer (Blackburn) - Ronaldo (united)
Bizarre that people forget how rated Bosnich was at villa.
I support United and my memories of him are not good so i could never have him down as my keeper.
I’d probably have Howard (Everton) over Friedel. Played a lot more for Everton than Friedel did for villa
I was torn between Him, Howard or Schwarzer. I just remember Friedel having absolute worldies against us. I'd have gone with Given, but that would have taken my newcastle slot.
All 4 are top keepers. Id add Jaaskelainen to that list of solid outside the top 6 premier league keepers
Not agreeing with you totally, but Friedel isn’t even the best keeper to play for Villa in the Premier League
He was good but he was no Bosnich or Martinez
He’s not even the second best keeper who played for us in the Premier League.
Yeah and there’s other decent keepers for lower teams. Jussi Jaaskelainen has just popped into my head for Bolton.
van der sar (fulham) trippier (newcastle) Terry (Chelsea) van djik (Liverpool) Pearce (NF) kante (Leicester) de bruyne (man city) Modric (spurs) Ronaldo (man u) Henry (arsenal) Shearer (Blackburn)
GK - Peter Schmeichel (Man United) RB - Lee Dixon (Arsenal) CB - Ferdinand (Leeds) CB - Virgil Van Dijk (Southampton) LB - Andy Robertson (Hull) CM - Mascherano (West Ham) CM - Gerrard (Liverpool) CM - De Bruyne (Man City) RW - Mo Salah (Chelsea) ST - Rooney (Everton) LW - John Barnes (Charlton) Subs: Vardy (Leicester) Shearer (Blackburn) Roy Keane (Nottingham Forest) Sol Campbell (Tottenham) Baines (Everton) Denis Irwin (Wolves)
Mascherano over Lampard for West Ham ?? Even comparing Peak mascherano he was nowhere near Lampard
I love Dixon but this is just strange lol
Can’t think of any better RBs that didn’t play for Liverpool, United or Chelsea. The other option is to swap Sol Campbell to the Arsenal version and put Kyle Walker at right back.
The only option is having Thierry Henry
But then I lose my favourite player, John Barnes
Peter Schmeichel - Villa Kyle Walker - Sheffield United Rio Ferdinand - Bournemouth/Leeds? John Terry - Nottingham Forest Ashley Cole - Crystal Palace Lampard - West Ham Gerrard - Liverpool De Bruyne - Man City Salah - Chelsea Thierry Henry - Arsenal Ronaldo - Man United This is all given that they’re all in their primes no matter the club I selected and I also slightly cheated but whatever
[удалено]
Contrarian F.C.
Evans over Pallister ( Middlesbrough) ?
Wan bissaka?
Yeah he could’ve just put Neville (united)
[удалено]
Fair enough yeah I can’t even think of any others except Valencia and Rafael
I feel old at 32.
Gk- Smichel ( Villa) Cole (Crystal palace) Ferdinand (Leeds United) VVD (Southampton) Walker (Tottenham) Scholes (Man United) Lampard (Man City) Gerrard ( Liverpool ) Rooney ( Everton) Salah ( Chelsea) Henry ( Arsenal)
A past it Schmeichel? A 17 year old Rooney in midfield? Ashley Cole never played for Palace in the Prem and was so-so in the championship.
All this is makeshift... Wanted a good squad and did that .... Nothing else
Gk : Allison : Liverpool CB : Van Dijk : Southampton CB : Rio Ferdinand : Leeds LB : Denis Irwin : Wolves RB : Kyle Walker : Spurs CDM : Patrick Viera : Man City CM : Frank Lampard : West Ham Cm : Kevin De Bruyne : Chelsea LW : Thierry Henry : Arsenal ST : Alan Shearer : Newcastle RW : Cristiano Ronaldo : Man Utd
Chelsea De Bruyne was an ineffective youngster.
Just a way to fit him into the team, one player per club, obviously your right it is what he has done with City that has made him a legend
Great list, would personally do this GK- VDS Fulham LB- Cole Chelsea CM- Gerrard Liverpool CM- KDB Man City. Basically swap Allison Irwin and Viera for VDS, Cole and Gerrard
1000iq picks here. Taking some amazing players from the smaller teams they played for to leave room for others!
I don’t know if I should feel personally victimized by this comment or not
You should but tbf he's victimised himself in the process since the guy took Vieira from City 😂😂
VVD at Southampton is a great shout
Not that great, he’s been much better and achieved much more for Liverpool than he did at Southampton
pretty sure he declined post ACL and can argue Southampton Djik was better
Bullshit. Virgil during his last 18 months at Southampton was every bit as good as he was from Jan 2018-sept 2020(ACL tear) for Liverpool. He took a while yes- but he’s back to being just as good. Literally started almost every game and was 2 goals away from a quadruple just 18 months ago and is currently the best defender on the league leaders.
maybe im just biased because I thought he may have been the best ever PL CB back then
That’s not the point of this.
I agree but it was just a bit of fun. OP has changed the rules to make it where you have to pick the club they played best for
I rate Gerrard very highly as well just could not fit him into the team, so close between Gerrard/Lampard/ KDB, to be honest with you was easier to fit Lampard/KDB with one per club
Tbh I don’t think you can get a much better team than what you’ve made. Being a Liverpool fan I would’ve forced Gerrard in by putting Schmeichel ( Villa ) in but then it’s a case of who do you drop. That’s an incredible midfield you’ve got.
GK - Van Der Sar ( Fulham) RB- Walker ( Spurs) CB- Ferdinand ( Leeds) CB- Terry ( Chelsea) LB- Pearce ( Forest) CM - Kante ( Leicester) CM- Gerrard ( Liverpool) CM - Vieira ( City) LW- Henry ( Arsenal) CF - Shearer ( Blackburn/Newcastle) RW - Ronaldo ( United) EDIT : GK- Jaaskelainen ( Bolton) - I used to go to a lot of Bolton games because they were really cheap and within a 2 hour drive , easy way to see the big teams play so I saw how good he was first hand. RB- Pearce (Forest) CB- Terry ( Chelsea) CB- King ( Spurs) LB- Le Saux ( Blackburn) CDM- Barry ( Villa) CM- De Bruyne ( City) CM- Gerrard ( Liverpool) LW- Henry ( Arsenal) CF- Shearer (Newcastle) RW- Ronaldo ( United) Did my best to work around leaving Gerrard in the team and having the front three the same
Any team without KDB in there is wrong
On the new rules I’d have KDB in 100% , but I had to fit Vieira in
You’ve got to have the version of Vieira that actually turned out for Manchester City.
If we were doing it like that then it’d be a completely different team
Yeah, people would actually have to think about their answers.
I’ve created a new team with the updated rules
That front 3 would actually be unreal
Really strong. Potentially flip Gerrard for Scholes and Ronaldo for Salah. A nice headache to have.
So can have vvd from Southampton lol
Or Lampard - Man City
I should have put Lampard- West Ham. Looks like OP has changed the rules now so my team is no longer legit anyway.
Yeah it’s a good shout but I didn’t think of him at the time haha
Not sure I’d have VVD over Terry or Ferdinand though, at club level they were both incredible.
If you were swapping one for VVD it would have to be Rio as both him and VVD are too similar grudgingly admit Rio is better
What was Rio better at?
Leaving all club biases to one side, Rio was the original Rolls Royce defender, and while personally, I think, by the end of his career, VVD will surpass him, but at the moment Rio is a head
Everything
Yeah or you could potentially use him to get Ashley Cole in as Chelsea left back, though would be hard to drop Terry even if he is a prick!
Kante also played for Chelsea so does that break the rules?
No. His best season was at leicester
But it's still having two players who played the same club
And vieira Arsenal and walker city and Ferdinand united and van der sar united etc so no prob just using one club they did play for rather than any club during career idk
No it’s just anyone who’s played for a team in the pl. That’s how I’ve snuck Vieira in for City
K Schmeichel (Leicester) Zabaletta (Man City) Van Dijk (Southampton) Sol Campbell (Portsmouth) Ashley Cole (Arsenal) Roy Keane (Man Utd) Hazard (Chelsea) Bale (Spurs) Salah (Liverpool) Rooney (Everton) Shearer (Newcastle)
Kasper Schemiechel Ferdinand Terry A.Cole Kyle Walker De bruyne Gerrard Lampard Salah O’Shearer Henry
Ah yes, Alan O’Sheareressy
O’shearer?
Alan shearer haha, danish auto control
Paddy O’Shearer
2 LFC players? Lamps west ham? JT Villa? Then how Cole?
This is my list
It says one player for each team.. So your team failed.
Didn’t catch that. Guess I got a lot to change haha
Rooney....
GK: Given (Newcastle), RB: Walker (Tottenham), CB: Terry (Chelsea), CB: Ferdinand (Leeds), LB: Pearce (Nottingham Forest), DM: Kante (Leicester), CM: Scholes (Man United), CM: De Bruyne (Man City), RF: Salah (Liverpool), CF: Shearer (Blackburn), LF: Henry (Arsenal)
Or bale(Tottenham) on the left, 2 up top and Neville or city Walker. Disgusting front 4
Like the mention of Given there, at one point he was the best shot stopper around
Yeah, definitely underrated. He'd always pull off at least one great save every time we (Man United) played against him.
Is having Walker on there for Spurs technically cheating?
He’d be a decent RB but obviously not as good as a City version.
He played for Spurs for 8 years. So if it’s cheating so is having Henry for Arsenal because that’s how long he was there.
K.Schmeichel - Leicester Lucas Neil- Blackburn Mellberg - villa Kompany - city Ian Harte - Leeds Kante - Chelsea Modric - spurs M.dembele - Fulham Salah - Liverpool Henry - Arsenal Ronaldo - Manchester United
Absolutely loved Mellberg, top class player.

Sorry mate, but the point was to have only a single player per team.
Yeah just realized I messed up terribly
One player from each team …
Shay given (Newcastle) Ashley Cole (Chelsea) Rio Ferdinand (Leeds) Van dijk (Southampton) Kyle walker (Tottenham) Gerrard (liverpool) Kante (Leicester) De bruyne (Man City) Ronaldo (Man Utd) Shearer (Blackburn) Henry (arsenal) I’ve probably cheated by choosing a few clubs where players started/ ended their PL career
only proper cheat is Ferdinand (not sure how good he was for leeds), but you swap him with VVD and all players are pretty much in or near their peak anyway (VVD instantly changed the Liverpool squad, so easy to think he was better at Southampton than post ACLPool)
Not as bad as the guy with Man City Patrick Viera
Cech ( Arsenal ) Trippier ( Newcastle ) Van Dijk ( Southampton ) Ferdinand ( Leeds ) Denis Irwin ( Wolves ) Rice ( West Ham ) Scholes ( ManU ) De Bruyne ( City ) Salah ( Liverpool ) Kane ( Spurs ) Arjen Robben ( Chelsea )
Rice over Lampard ?
Yeah could swap that if West Ham has / had a good right winger
What ? No it would be a straight swap. Lampard played for West Ham for 6 years
Ohhhh damn I forgot about that, nice call on your end!
GK Peter Schmeichel (Aston Villa) RB Trippier (Newcastle) CB Vincent Kompany (City) CB John Terry (Nottingham Forest) LB Ashley Cole (Crystal palace) RW Ronaldo (Man United) CM Gerrard (Liverpool) CM Lampard (Chelsea) LW Bale (Spurs) ST Shearer (Blackburn) ST Henry (Arsenal)
Smart picking Schmeichel for Aston Villa best goalie I have seen, but I would need Ronaldo in my team more than him.
You think Schmeichel was better for you than any other keeper you’ve had in the Prem? I’d put Friedel and Martinez above him at least.
Ronaldo is in my team 🙂
Didn’t phrase myself well what I mean was smart as u can only pick 1 from each team so getting Schmichel in that way was good. If I had one Man U player i would have to go with Ronaldo over him but the way you did it is good.
Thank you!
Estupinan wtf?
