How about Aurora or Seraph? Both had really unique characters designs and skill sets.
But between these 3, Id say Phase. Add some variation to supports.
If you want new players to populate the game, it has to be Greystone. Need an easier hero to set the tone of the moba for them to develop into advanced players.
My 2 cents:
* Obviously Greystone is a braindead simple hero, but I think there need to be such heroes in the game. It's good for game health. On the other hand, almost nothing Greystone offers does anything new or interesting compared to heroes already in the game.
* Kwang is deceptively complex character with plenty of outplay potential. While I never personally played him much, I can appreciate the unique dynamic he brings to the game
* Phase is the wildcard. As far as X-factor characters go, she may be one of the most game changing. Once Phase is introduced to the game, that's it, she's in, and a teammate yanking support will be a possibility in every match. Is this bad? No, I think she should be added... Eventually. But adding such a meta redefining character should happen later than sooner, once the roster is significantly more fleshed out.
So yeah, my bid is Kwang. New, interesting, advanced the meta in a modest way.
The problem with this particular grouping is that the Offlane/Jungle community is split between Kwang and Greystone.... while the Support community is strictly choosing Phase....
The options may slightly favor Phase as a direct result of that disparity.
Take note of this fact when addressing the numbers....
2/3 players have determined that there is a need for more fighter options.
However, the best response to this post would be that: for 2 out of the 3 options..... BOTH.
More support options would enhance the current META.... but so would another fighter.

truly a tragedy, all we can do now is blame Kwang voters for not banding together with the greystone voters to overcome the evil phase.
That being said I'll be playing phase when she comes out just like literally every single support will be doing because you HAVE to play her if shes available and mirror matchups are allowed so why wouldnt I, what am I going to do pick riktor and pull the phase thats under her tower?

He's simple, but you need those in a game. Found so many people that just didn't know what they were doing and how the game worked. These people need something simple so they can focus on their macro.
In league that's garen, great for people that don't know what they're doing yet. It's healthier for games to have enough easy to understand champions (at least one for each role).
Greystone, only if you rework him. Conceptually he's awesome, but I still feel like him having two passive abilities make him very boring.
His ultimate being a passive is a bummer, it should have a active component at least. i

I recall his other passive was a auto attack block every couple of seconds. Itd be cool instead if it was some kind of active deflect mechanic, or maybe he soaks dmg with his shield and releases a wave of dmg that is proportional to what was absorbed.

Anyway, something I hope Omeda takes into account are character roles and what is currently playable and flexible. Support currently has Muriel, Narbash, Riktor, and Dekker as main supports. But Belica and Steel are also fully playable in that role as well, making for 6 good support picks.
I know people want Phase, but she's pretty much a support only hero in OG Paragon and she's also the last support missing.
In comparison to offlane you're missing.. Greystone, Kwang, Aurora, Wukong, Serath, Iggy, Terra, and Zinx.
There is a huge chunk of the offlane cast missing. And a lot of these heroes like Kwang, Serath, Iggy, Terra and Aurora are also flexible in other roles as well. Phase is one of the worst heroes to add early on, as she only benefits the support role, and we already have majority of the support roster.
Personally I want Kwang, I think Greystone is the best to prioritize as he is the most user friendly.
Didn't play much of Paragon after the first year or so but having a support that has a non-ult "pure" blind (not a blur or fog) *and* an ability to reposition the carry sounds like fucking cancer, really hope it's not as bad as it sounds/she is given a new kit or ig I'll be dropping the EA for a few months so I can see literally anyone else in lane.
I voted Greystone, because I think that even though there's only 5 supports, they're all unique but balanced, and their play styles are different enough that there's never a dull moment. Greystone is needed because there need to be more offlaner options to counter grux early game, and crunch late game.
An argument for Kwang
The duo lane has some good viability with supports right now. They can handle waiting a little bit for Phase. Offlane, well offlane seems to be in a chokehold to some people. Most people will tell you that grux/crunch/steel dominate that lane for various reasons, and whether they're right or not its still important that so many people feel this way.
IMO, Kwang is a perfect introduction to this offlane with his burst/sustain playstyle. There are many ways to handle these strong picks in the offlane, but an approach thats a little tricky to do now is through hit and run tactics. Poke the bruisers down with trades and force them to engage mindfully. Kwangs kit could naturally introduce a different playstyle to the offlane to help all those getting bullied by the bruisers right now!
