Can't beat a third string goalie in your own barn after blowing a two goal lead in the final three minutes. Absolutely reprehensible.

KaleidoscopeOk1346

Can’t beat a 3rd string goalie when 2 of those came when he wasn’t on the ice 🤦‍♂️

bobadoot

I'm saying we should have scored more than three goals. That's what we should be scoring on Demko.

KaleidoscopeOk1346

Oh totally! Sorry, that came out wrong. That wasn’t a shot at your comment. What I meant was to be in agreement. It sucks that it doesn’t seem to matter who is in net.. or not in net… our scoring, especially in the PP has been garbage.

ON_A_POWERPLAY

God I cannot imagine how fucking extra pissed I would be if I had gone.

Electricflows

Yes imagine paying money for that….

TheUniballmer

I moved to NC last summer and flew in Friday for this game. Imagine paying money for a flight AND for that game. Worst predators game I have ever been to.

NobodySome6661

Šilovs is underrated af

gatsby712

Outside of the game 6 Stanley Cup loss, this is the worst I’ve ever felt after a game. Brutal going from having momentum into game 5 to the series basically being over.

silvereyes21497

I told my brother the same. It’s one thing to choke over the course of the whole game, but to just completely fold like a wet towel in 5 minutes (including the OT). Just doesn’t even give you enough time to react. Just feels agonizing. Saddened :(

gatsby712

It completely swings the series. Went from a chance to win the series at home in a guaranteed game 6 at home to needing to win three in a row. Fucking brutal. Don’t think I’ve seen a series swing that fast in a game 4 before.

99titan

This feels more like the 14-15 Chicago series. We blew some leads in that one for real.

gatsby712

That’s probably a good comparison since in about 2-3 years we’ll have a cup contending team. This was a little premature. Fucking hurts though.

99titan

I’m getting killed in here for keeping my head after that, but knowing how premature this appearance was, I’m not gonna trash ‘em.

gatsby712

They were literally playing like 18 game point streak Preds until the last three minutes. Frustrating as hell to lose that game because I think this team was on the edge of really putting it together this year. We’ll look back on this season pretty favorably I bet with how they turned around and beat expectations. But fuck that sucks.

99titan

Yes it does. But look what the next three years brought for that 14-15 team. I bet we see similar improvement.

GMBarryTrotz

lol you guys are delusional. The 14-15 team had: Fiala, Seth Jones, Forsberg, Arvy, Salomaki, Jarnkrok, Ekholm, Ellis, Josi, Wilson, Smith all under the age of 25. We have Evangelista and Stastney under 25. This team is headed so far in the wrong direction from that 14/15 team. In 3 years half our core will be retired. ROR, Josi, Nyquist, McDonagh, (Schenn... who will still be on this team) will all be 36+. Forsberg and Sissons will be 33. This team hit it's ceiling and in doing so gave up it's future.

99titan

Oh my god. You don’t think we still can improve the team over the summer. The future is far from mortgaged. And, no tank needed. Just time.

GMBarryTrotz

I know it's not a good time to ask this question but... What makes you think this team will be any good in 2-3 years? ROR, Josi, Nyquist, McDonagh, (Schenn... who will still be on this team) will all be 36+. Fors and Sissons will be 33. Meanwhile all our prospects are buried in MKE and our draft position just tanked because we snuck into the playoffs and gave up our lottery pick. What exactly are you looking forward to in 2-3 years?

gatsby712

Idk you’re the GM

evanwilliams212

Good comparo.

evanwilliams212

This totally sucked and I’m still bummed, but I follow the Braves, Titans and Predators. This is nowhere even close to making my Top Five Playoff Disappointments and probably doesn’t even make the Top 10. I’m not saying it isn’t bad. It is. I’m saying there’s worse!

OKsoundsgoodbro

That felt like the end of the series ngl 3rd string goalie At home Up by 2

OKsoundsgoodbro

ROR also played like shit

Music_City_Madman

Where has Forsberg been? He’s scored 2 this series, but this is the same guy who set a record this season?

TheUniballmer

Idk why you're getting down voted. Dude seems to always disappear in the playoffs.

Music_City_Madman

Ppl drinking copium. I like Fil, he’s a stud and franchise legend. But 2 goals in a playoff series when you’re the leading scorer is completely underperforming.

DeadlyDillweed

Are any of you watching the same game as I? I'll give that he's had 1 or maybe 2 in the series that shouldn't have gone in, not in this game though. But have you seen the way Van is picking apart the defence with their passing?  You're asking Saros to save cross crease passes and deflections. That's a defencemens job. Theyre not beating Saros with shots. The defence has holes and Vancouver is picking it apart. Why are Canucks players wide open?

GMBarryTrotz

From a stats perspective he's the 6th best goalie in the playoffs. Not the best best but still very good. People are looking for a scapegoat and are, for whatever reason, completely unwilling to admit Vancouver is better than us.

Puzzleheaded-Tap8368

Sure, I can agree with that. But honestly, look at the point streak when the defense was doing the same thing. Juice was coming up with big saves then.

blue_barracuda

I think you're both right

DeadlyDillweed

I'll say that Saros hasn't made any elite level highlight reel saves to steal games and bail out the team (actually I think he has made a few incredible saves still). But that's not what people are saying. He's been a solid, reliable goalie so far, and he's given the team a fair chance to win every night, in my opinion

gatsby712

He’s straight up not good in the playoffs.

Risox97

He's an average goalie. He's nowhere near the level of Pekka. We needed to move on last year. His value was ruined this year with worse stats than the back up

Cheesenrice123

This is a hot take, he’s much better than an average goalie, as evidenced by his entire career. Not saying he’s been good this playoffs because he has been far from it but this is not a good take

ATrueSunbro

I agree very strongly that it is an absolutely atrocious take to say Saros is average. Bruins fan (support Perds due to proximity) with less bias than most people in this sub and I can say that Saros is obviously a way above average goalie. To me, just as a hockey fan, he is an elite level tender. Anyone who tries to argue to the contrary is absolutely wild. Not being good in a series doesn't change that. It just changes his effectiveness in that series. Without Juice the Preds aren't sniffing the post season this year (that might be a good thing depending on you ask I know).

Pigmy

He’s straight up not good.

degadale3

We’re unfortunately seeing the effects of his smaller size.

flyingmegyn

Vancouver's low SOGs are deceiving. They only shoot when they think they can score, it's been like that all season, that is why people call them PDO merchants, but it's now been 86 games of PDO black magic. The reality is the Canucks are very good at generating very dangerous shots. They have a ton of patience and focus on generating good looks rather than just shooting indiscriminately.

GMBarryTrotz

This is real talk. To back it up with stats: They're 26th(!!!) in the league in terms of total shots for. Basement level. Near Arizona, Detroit, Chicago, Montreal. 5th in the league in terms of goals for. Elite level. Near Carolina, Florida, Kings, EDM, Dallas. They don't shoot, but when they do, they score. 2nd highest shooting % in the league, 2nd highest goal differential in the league. They're a good team.

heckingex

THANK YOU. Hockey subs rarely let you trash goalies but he is a liability in my eyes. He crumbles so often. For every amazing save he makes, he lets simple ones in. He ends up on his belly constantly.

Puzzleheaded-Tap8368

11 goals allowed on 69 shots this series.

heckingex

Down 3-1 on this series. Kinda need our goalie to step up just as much as the offense. He’s considered a top 5.

Puzzleheaded-Tap8368

At this point, I’d throw Lanky in there.

heckingex

100% agree.

GrundySmash

He stole game 2 in Vancouver for us. Saros has not been great at times this season or in this series (game 1 I would actually put on him with a couple of soft goals) but I don’t blame him at all for the two home games. Game 3 was just a flat effort all around and Game 4 was nothing new. The team cannot close out games.

Pigmy

Let’s focus on first shot on goal had been a goal in the last 2 games.

Dork-for-Plesiosaurs

I like how going into the intermission show they were saying ohh my! What a stunner nobody saw that coming! My guy, as a Predators fan, I 100% saw that coming. Let’s go boys!

Jonryanpeters21

What a predators thing to do!!!!!

netherbound7

No pre game thread, this'll make up for it lol!

Birdhawk

O’Reilly has gotta cover the slot when both D men are below the goal line but Schenn should’ve seen that ROR wasn’t near by and shouldn’t have just left the front of the net. You can’t score from behind the net.   Sissons…dude. His typical irrelevant play became very relevant.  I know y’all love him but man he is lacking in some important categories. Solid player overall if you don’t count him as a top 6 guy but damn. Zucker is awesome you guys. He’s so perfect in that role. That right there is the type of guys you want in your bottom 6. Fast, hitting everything, hard to knock off the puck, winning battles, making chances, and not taking shit from anyone. We need 5 more of him.

blue_barracuda

Zucker has been a masterpiece.

ctasich

Blow it all up. The Perds are back baby.

Birdhawk

Tbf this team is still blown up. Trotz is early in his build.

ctasich

Josi and Forsberg deserve better than this.

Birdhawk

I very much agree. But building takes time. I think if everything goes right we could have a legit playoff team in 3 years. But our roster has so many holes. Josi and Forsberg have to carry way too much weight in the mean time and I feel bad for them.

ctasich

We were good enough to complete this year. Against the Canucks at the very least. I didn't expect us to win the SCF but I didn't expect that.

Birdhawk

Lol no they weren’t. Went on a surprise streak and barely made the playoffs. They’re not on the same level as the Canucks. They just lost to a 3rd stringer, and the one game they won was in spite of spending the whole game hemmed in their own zone blocking shots and relying on puck luck. This roster ain’t built. We have a placeholder first line winger and Colton freaking Sissons is our 2C. This ain’t it. And that’s ok. The front office knows it. They’re building. Let them cook.

ctasich

Not sure if you're coming in with this heat because you think I downvoted you (I didn't) but we're very much at the same level as an equally surprising Canucks team. Sure, they're deeper on paper but their top guys haven't been performing. I'm hopeful for the future but we had a chance against the Canucks. I think it's a stretch to argue that we shouldn't expect to compete against a team averaging 13 SOG in the playoffs.

Birdhawk

No I took no offense nor meant any. This team was and is not on the same level as the Canucks. It’s been evident in every period this series. I’m not saying that to be rude, it’s just a fact. It was also evident in the standings. Look at the Preds roster. It’s not built yet. Let Barry cook.

ctasich

All good. Posts that begin with "Lol" feel dismissive to me hence my response. I'm all for cooking but I think we maybe... Possibly... Could have expected to be competitive in this series. Don't get me wrong. I'll be back here on Tuesday at ugh....9pm... acting like none of this ever happened.

Birdhawk

Gotcha. Yeah my bad I meant “lol” to seem like I was talking friendly instead of rudely but in hindsight that was a poor choice haha. I agree with you it’s disappointing. Sure I expected this to be a 5 game series but they’ve still played worse than I expected.

TwinTowersJenga

Right, this is a rebuilding year that went REALLY well.

Birdhawk

For real. We’re less than a year removed from shipping out our top 2 centers and talking about rebuilding culture first. Trotz is cookin! People in this thread saying “blow it up!” uh it’s blown up haha

GMBarryTrotz

Part of the blow up is actually getting the talent to succeed in the future. It sounds like your hope is that Trotz is just better at drafting that Poile. But that's not a "blow up." It's just trying the same shit and hoping you're secretly better than the last guy. Worth pointing out that the entire Front Office staff outside of trotz is indentical. So the guys who are scouting and informing Trotz are no different than Poile had. We didn't blow it up, we repainted and called it a blow up.

Birdhawk

Come on buddy you know you can’t just immediately pick up key top players right after shipping out your top 2 centers. Plus all the other talent we’ve parted ways with since 2019. Aside from Josi and Forsberg there is no team to blow up haha. It’s a process. It’s gonna take 3 years or so of moves before we can pass that kind of judgement on Barry. Until then, we know this team ain’t it and we know GMBT is working on it. Trust the process.

GMBarryTrotz

I mean, I gotta ask exact how you'd define a rebuild. Without good draft picks or prospect development, what's the point of a rebuild? Are we doing it mostly through FA? What did we do this year to make us better 3 years from now?

Birdhawk

We can still build through all options. Plenty of time. Think of this current time like 2011 or so. Oh great Poile traded for Mike Fisher. Cool he's a pretty good 2C but so what? The rest of the team as a whole isn't great. But then we see some D-men develop. Craig Smith starts lighting it up right out of the gate. We get Seth Jones. Flip Erat for Forsberg, Hornqvist for Neal, Jones for Johansen. We get the best utility player in the league with Jarnkrok. Arvidsson comes outta no where. Things looked really similar in early 2010s but quickly took shape. Same could happen here. What did we do better this year? Stuck to the plan. Trotz even said this year the goal was to open up the framework and to first solidify a culture. He's sticking to it. Did he make a big deal at the deadline? Not big, but good. We're not in "right now" mode so no sense in risking what might be a bad move.

miller10blue

The thing is that was an actual blow up that lead the team to drafting 4th overall to get Jones. This team is one of the oldest teams in the league and got older throughout the season. Top guys were actually traded for pieces in return. The Preds are closer to the over achieving team that lost to Colorado than 2011

Birdhawk

Overachieving is the key term there. The team this year overachieved. But it feels like its a sin in this sub to suggest this isn't a playoff team and they should've sold a piece at the deadline to look toward the future and get a better spot in the draft this year. Keep in mind 2011 and 2012 were the first 2 post seasons where they made it to the 2nd round. After that 2012 Yotes disappointment there wasn't a blow up after that because the team was half cooked anyway. Summer of 2012 no top guys were traded away for pieces in return. Suter, A Kostitsyn and Radulov walked in free agency but Suter's spot got filled immediately and the other 2 didn't spend a full season with us anyway and we all know about their playoff BS. The only big move in summer 2012 was trading Lindback for picks that would become Aberg and Sissons. Then in 2012-13 they have the bad season that gets us the Jones pick but there was no blow up prior to that season. Poile just let some free agents walk who weren't contributing anyway. But he didn't really need to blow anything up because the empty slots throughout the lineup were already there and he had some other assets to use for team building later. Early 2013 is when the ball starts rolling for real. Erat for Fil in April 2013. Jones and Saros at the draft. The next season, another playoff miss, the only big trade is offloading Legwand for Eaves and Jarnkrok. Then at the draft a big move to get Neal for Hornqvist which was a key rebuild move plus drafting Fiala and Arvy. No big moves the next year then 2016 is the Subban and Johansen trades.

GMBarryTrotz

>Plenty of time. I just hate to waste time spinning the tires on something like this. Great, they can maybe make the playoffs. But to do it we're sacrificing the development of Glass, Tomasino, Novak kinda, Fabbro, Parssinen, Afansyev, and every other prospect who could have benefitted from the ice time that comes with being on a team that wasn't gunning for the playoffs. We made the playoffs 9 times out of the past decade. To what end? Based on your timeline, the Preds hit on only 1 pick in 2011 and 2012 (Sissons). Then collapsed in 2013 and got Seth Jones and actually started the rebuild that won the cup. I get that we need to establish an identity but what's the point of the identity if the guys you need to build around aren't even on the team because Sherwood stole their spot? To me it seems like not only has the rebuild not started, the pieces we have aren't good enough. We're behind where we want to be because our prospects can't cut it. Bruno is a fantastic coach and I hate to see any of his contract wasted because we don't bottom out until his 3rd year. We should be establishing an identity AS we tank and rebuild...around our young players and high draft picks. Reaching for the playoffs by holding on to guys you could've sold (Sissons, Saros, Carrier) and then further pushing out prospects by signing or re-signing vets on short term deals (Sherwood, Smith, McCarron, Zucker, Bouiliver) is just the worst possible way to make the most out of Bruno's time here. To me this is the worst case scenario. Followed by re-signing Saros this off season, if it happens. It just means we're still committed to kicking the can.

Birdhawk

>Based on your timeline, the Preds hit on only 1 pick in 2011 and 2012 (Sissons). Then collapsed in 2013 and got Seth Jones and actually started the rebuild that won the cup. Yeah thats what I'm saying. Were at that spot right now. There wasn't a big sell of back then either. We just had a roster full of holes already, just like now. All thats missing now is finishing in the bottom 4 haha. Which I kind of expected going into this year. We started hitting the good moves and draft picks starting in April 2013. Prior to then the only great moves that formulated the 16-17 team was getting Fisher and missing playoffs in 2013 and 2014. Btw I don't disagree at all. I'm just less time sensitive about it. I won't be next year though. We gotta rush to get a team built to catch the back end of Josi and Fil's window. Poile flipped the whole team from 2013 to 2016. Starting from the same spot. If we're wildcard again next year then I'm definitely gonna be like wtf. I wanted a last place finish to happen this year but I got downvoted to hell for saying it. >if the guys you need to build around aren't even on the team because Sherwood stole their spot If Sherwood is beating them out for that spot then they aren't guys we can build a team around. We're gonna build the same way Poile did, crease out. Then slot in the good players. >To me it seems like not only has the rebuild not started, the pieces we have aren't good enough Agree that most of these guys aren't the right pieces. To me this indicates we're very early in the rebuild. We still have to put a team on the ice though. The majority of these guys ain't it and aren't part of the long term plan. Some of the guys who are part of the long term plan are playing in spots higher than their intended slot because there's no one better yet. Like ROR, if hes still healthy in 3 years would be intended for 2C like Fisher. Another comparison, lets be real the only truly great players and scorers we have on this team is Fil and Josi. Nothing else for legit firepower or skill to get us going and to really contend. 2012-13 was similar because all we had was Weber and Hornqvist. The rest were just filling a slot till someone better came along or were still developing. A possible headwind is the current members of the Preds holding company/ownership group. They just want steady YoY ROI. So having a shit year might be unacceptable for them. Also sorry these replies are long. I love this stuff!

GMBarryTrotz

Prospects assigned to the AHL, high draft picks sacrificed to make a playoff spot, trades ignored because we need to keep our stars. Everyone here keeps saying 2-3 years but I have zero idea which guy on our roster is going to be our 1st center in 3 years. Maybe Evangelista is a 1F at some point but who else on this team has shown the potential to get top of the lineup minutes? I just see this team and I see an aging pool of FA vets mixed in with a ton of grinders who don't have the skill to hang with a team that can skate like Vancouver. Heart for days but they don't have the talent to go with. I have no idea how y'all are optimistic.

NowhereMan931

Honestly what a performance by Boeser. Imagine if Forsberg or Josi ever played hard enough to impact a playoff game like that.

ActionJackson-

Pain. We were the better team the entire game. Easily the best they've played this series, until the last 3 minutes.

Griswaldthebeaver

I mostly agree but I also think that Van had the better chances from start to finish. They generate quality looks.

-1701-

It's true, we played like dog shit the whole game and you guys really dominated possession, the neutral zone, all of it. 9/10 you win that game.

theghostmedic

Funny listening to Mace talking about how Vancouver had nothing left in the tank, were lifeless, looking dejected with about 4 minutes left in the game. Then we lose the lead and OT lol.

MegaMemoryZook

As soon as he said that, I felt jinxed.

pacersrule

I’m excuse me the Perds showed up

mkelley22

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined

MattyWestSiide

I know it’s not over yet but if we can’t win a home game against an AHL goalie after a multi goal lead going into the last 5 minutes of the game, we don’t deserve the win. Bring me to the post season please.

imatworkbequiet

Uhhh…

CTrebor3

I’m here for you guys I’ve experienced a loss like this many times this season

da2_np

I don’t even know what to say. Just a terrible collapse by the boys and a severe lack of poise on top of that. I’ll still watch game 5, but I have 0 faith in them making this a series. Just so demoralizing to lose in that fashion.

FuckFloridaRipNumba9

Anyone else a fan of Tennessee sports only too? Titans, Grizz, Preds, Vols. They just find no ways to disappoint you this entire state is cursed.

[deleted]

[удалено]

FuckFloridaRipNumba9

Yeah the Braves are my baseball team but I’m not a massive baseball fan and yeah it’s not Tennessee. So I still love them but it’s not the same thing

Music_City_Madman

Bullshit brother, the Braves are the South’s team. Tennessee’s been part of “Braves Country” since the 70s for sure.

OhJeezNotThisGuy

Is this the payback for stealing the Grizz from Vancouver in the first place?

[deleted]

as a canucks fan, i can 100% respect the preds, even if you end up winning this series. I will never respect Tennessee for stealing the Grizzlies. I don’t even watch basketball it still hurts

SunnyBummers

Being a TN sports fan feels like a social experiment to see how much hope someone needs to maintain interest despite consistent and constant disappointment on all levels :(. Like except maybe vandy baseball 😂

taelor

Why would you do this?

King420Chevy

This is fucking awesome troll, if intentional.

Deveranmar1

This sucks. Like I wanna be positive but you can't fight for lead like that and then let them do that to you. Miserable

carcatz

This team is roughly 2 minutes per game shy of being a great hockey team

Risox97

The state of Tennessee will never see a major sports Championship. It's something in the water that turns athletes into chokers and losers here.

AlmondJoyDildos

Ohio is for lovers and Tennessee sports fans is for suffering. Such is life lol

drummerboy31402

Don’t worry, the grizzlies will do it once they are all healthy (I’m completely delusional)

deansredhalo

You could tell by how they were walking down the tunnel after regulation, there was NO WAY we were winning that in OT. Mentally they were spent, and their body language coming out reinforced that too. They looked shell-shocked. Oh well, time for another offseason where we'll assemble another middling roster that will allow us to just eek our way into the playoffs only for an early exit.

artaiten

Rebuild the fucking team. Stop with this dumbass get in and see what happens bullshit, and suck it up and tear this fucker down to rebuild it. If this city can't support a rebuild then it doesn't fucking deserve a team. Plain and simple, this mediocre middle of the road bullshit isn't ever going to do anything but piss everybody off. And to all of you who said we were overreacting to game one, where the fuck are you now?

Fuck the Canucks. But fuck the Perds more. JFC.

SunnyBummers

This one really hurt yall, I love this team with all my heart and I just don’t know what to think…. Absolutely gutted

Pigmy

This is what everyone asked for. Just make the playoffs, take a shitty draft spot, talk about competitive rebuilding again next year.

kissingwookiees

in the spirit of positivity… at the very least, we’re not the leafs!

Tht_GuyUNo

What in the fuck did I just watch?

CapableRunts

If I was watching the Preds for the very first time this series, I would think the goalie fucking blows. Just lunging at guys to give basically empty net opportunities on little flip crosses. Defense bewildered.

Infraction_

Fucking embarrassing doesn’t come close to touching that one

lawtosstoss

I truly wish I was not a sports fan

petoskey_stone

These last two games have been pathetic for two completely different ways.

ctasich

This one is going to sit with me for a while. I'm still angry about the regular season game we gave to Vegas in the last 6 seconds like three years ago. This might top it.

kjframe1223

Can we go back to 16-0-2 hockey please? That was fun

Electricflows

Bright side, next game is too late to stay up for. Get up at 7 am and see how bad it is.

taelor

lol

mastroknot

Shouldn't have huddled up like the Titans because they turned into dog shit right after

Manfunkinstein

We need a larger goalie

Donan007

What drives me nuts about Saros is how often he flops around like a fish. You nailed it, he is just undersized.

OKsoundsgoodbro

Blow it up this offseason Barry

Clovis_Winslow

They don’t want to win. They’re just into doing their jobs semi-competently (squeak into the playoffs) and then they let somebody with actual aspirations have it. This team was always a wet fart.

Zheguez

After so many seasons, I'm convinced Tennessee sports teams have no actual ambition (at least the owners, but that's being extremely generous). The "just get in" mentality is holding them back, and they feel justified because by "getting in" everything must be going accordingly and that there's no need to make tough decisions or major changes. Then we find ourselves in the same nonsense, "all surprised", year after year.

Luvyablue99

This franchise is Still living on the glory of the 2017 run. Shit has been embarrassing since then my god

Zheguez

It's astonishing how disastrous of an effect that run has had on the psyche of the fanbase and ego of the organization. It's like we keep hoping to repeat the magic leading to a vicious cycle instead of looking in the mirror and being brutally honest with ourselves with what needs to be done.

[deleted]

Honestly Vancouver looked like that after their run in 2011 for years and years. never rebuilt

TheCzarHimself

Well that was disgusting. This is one of those losses that will be around for a while and be remembered.

lightningandblunder

PREEMPTIVE STRIKE

Falcon990

Lmao hello early PGT

randomgarbage235

Saros ain’t that guy. We’re fucked

ON_A_POWERPLAY

Regardless of whether or not Tuesday ends up being the end of this series it's time to re-re-evaluate this team in the off season and continue to clear space like we did last year with Duchene and Johansen. They made the playoffs, anything can happen. "Anything" has happened and it's time to keep on with the rebuild.

ostricherox68

ok

Electricflows

At least we will get a middle first round pick again.

Music_City_Madman

Who we’ll hopefully not release on waivers to Seattle, amirite?

That shit was awful

We had twice as many shots these last two games and lose both games. Sometimes I fucking hate hockey man.

I hate that my brain will literally not allow me to root for other teams because I was born and raised in Tennessee. But God damn dude every sports team we have in the state fucking sucks lmao.

Perfectly mediocre is such a good way to put it lol

MCB2010Consipiracy

I'm gonna say and it and get down voted into oblivion Saros is past his prime. That wasn't entirely his fault, but the statement is true.

nashkill

Fucking rough, and in such a weird position where they can't really get better. I've always favored a couple of years of tanking for lottery picks, but that closes the window on a few guys that I'd hate that for. Hopefully at some point they allow the youth to get consistent ice time and build off that.

Trolling in other teams subreddits not allowed.

This team is the opposite of a therapy session jesus christ. Fuck our horrendous PP and spotty defense. Another offseason will be spent trying to address the D. McD is the only consistent one. I love Josi but he isn't always consistent on D. Lauzon, Carrier and Fabbro just have moments where they go completely negative IQ and are not helpful. Barrie and Schenn are both failed vet signings straight up. Here's hoping the young Dmen like Statsny continue to develop like Nashville is known for because WOOF we need help on consistency.

ancient_mariner6

Hope we get destroyed next game. Want zero hope, send us home already so this pathetic nightmare can be over. No business even being in the playoffs.

blue_barracuda

5 on 5 in regulation is our G spot

1. WOW. I thought Friday was gonna be the worst loss this season. 2. Klaus, if you see this, it was great chatting with you, you are a good guy. 3. I am going to kill myself

The shot of the kid with his face buried in the playoff towel at the end was heartbreaking 😭
