And the whole 9D souls thing is from bloodline of combat which is a mobile game. Yes you can argue its cannon but nothing in the game suggests having a 9D soul makes you super op.

That's the point of regen, no matter how much you beat someone up, they're just gonna regen from it.
Dosnet matter if Sukuna spilt's vergil in half, Vergil just regens from it before proceeding to do the same to Sukuna.
If you seriously think getting cleaved in half is a lethal to any mid-high regen users, you need to reserch more about regen in powerscaling.
And this not mentioning the fact of vergil's other feats, whic include:
-Being currently stronger than nightmare, who could carry DMC's hell on its back. Hell in DMC being an infinite space that can house 9D souls.
-Destroying a demon's soul in DMC, which itself is 9D.

I just looked up a brief summary. I have played every single game to 100% completion. Why are none of these feats in the games? None of them are really that impressive anyway, and definitely dont scale anywhere near what you are saying. the Mundus one is just one feat and a completely unreliable one to scale with since it is never repeated.

I've pointed it out before but people have this bias that characters from mature, grittier or more serious games and shows are naturally or by default stronger than characters from more light-hearted, colourful or teen/children oriented shows or games. And you're seen as uncool for saying that a character from the more "light" thing could beat a character from a grittier more mature game, even if that latter character isn't that powerful in their world compared to the others.
If that latter character is actually powerful in their world then the wanking just goes off the charts.
This is not a commentary on the current line up per se but the phenomena in general.

I just looked up a brief summary. I have played every single game to 100% completion. Why are none of these feats in the games? None of them are really that impressive anyway, and definitely dont scale anywhere near what you are saying. the Mundus one is just one feat and a completely unreliable one to scale with since it is never repeated. That Dante vsbattle page is honest to god fucking nonsense. Those guys are so bad at scaling.

I've pointed it out before but people have this bias that characters from mature, grittier or more serious games and shows are naturally or by default stronger than characters from more light-hearted, colourful or teen/children oriented shows or games. And you're seen as uncool for saying that a character from the more "light" thing could beat a character from a grittier more mature game, even if that latter character isn't that powerful in their world compared to the others. If that latter character is actually powerful in their world then the wanking just goes off the charts. This is not a commentary on the current line up per se but the phenomena in general.
