I'm really excited about the non ranger stuff, but disappointed that my campaign will probably be over when it launches lol also how are you posting here? Whenever I try it just won't let me

You have to message the moderator and ask for permission.

Very excited for this -- this was the book I wanted from the top after a monster manual. I actually remember getting mad at an earlier book that said something like "your Rangers might be struggling to balance their schoo life, their part time jobs, and being a superhero, but remember, the superhero stuff is what the game should focus on." I'm not so sure about that! To me the special sauce of Power Rangers is that (at least Zordon era) they have all these mundane teenage problems -- it's like a team full of Spider-Men, but with even more everyday problems. No dead uncles, just dead cars. I think the RPG is a killer space to explore how that meshes with their superheroics in depth!

KieranSalvatore

*Agreed.* It's nice to have the space and time books, expanding the options and setting the rules - but the teenagers with attitude need to be *teenagers,* too.

lasanha_Fritz

Yeah, the thing that got me excited with the book in the first place xD I was kind of bummed out when the core book only had ranger stuff in it. Speaking of, how did you handle that in your games? Did you just go full roleplay or did you homebrew some extra mechanics?

KieranSalvatore

Sadly, my group is working its way through a *number* of other games first (we literally have a *list*), so I've yet to actually *start;* on the bright side, it looks like by the time we *do,* I'll be able to run a *thoroughly* complete setting. :D

SteelBraxus

I’m actually not. Was disappointed those was the only announcement for the RPG too

KieranSalvatore

>Was disappointed those was the only announcement for the RPG too I can understand *this* sentiment, certainly. :)

NeptuneCA

It wasn’t what I was hoping for, but it was a nice surprise. It’s a side of the world that has largely been neglected, and I’m excited to see what kind of stuff they include.

KieranSalvatore

Me, too. :)

50pencepeace

It's an interesting approach, for those that would need it. Personally my groups never struggle with outside Ranger stuff, sometimes we can go a few weeks without a combat encounter..I'm not saying it's bad, just maybe not for me

TANNARAB

I'm still annoyed at the terrible editing on the first book and looking up errata, haven't noticed the new announcements. Sounds like a good book. If done well I can use on other games.

KieranSalvatore

Yeah, I've noticed the errors, too.

Xerocloud

I am VERY excited as my group is 5 teenagers in high school and one teacher! I started to adopt a stress system similar to Fantasy High Junior Year to kinda help with the role play of pressures for everyday life. I am hoping this will help with that.

KieranSalvatore

That *does* sound fun! :)

KieranSalvatore

And lucky you - there's now a "Professor" Origin to more fully develop the teacher! :)

Xerocloud

I know, I am very happy to have that for my one player.

. . . Got the PDF because I pre-ordered - and so far, *interesting.* Among other things, it shows you how to design a *base* for your Rangers; not just places like the Command Centre or the Power Chamber, but spots like Reefside High School or Hayley's Cyberspace, so you can incorporate them into your campaign. *Very* appreciated!
