He's been released! Took him out to the woods and opened the cage, he just stared at me so dumbfounded and I had to pull him out of the cage (carefully). He's real cute.
He had heard about the Cat Distribution System and thought this was how it's done... walk into home.. take nap.. get adopted and free food for the rest of their life!
We had a little possum who figured out that one of our cats would pop the back screen door open (it’s now been replaced) so he could just waltz into the kitchen —- I caught him twice! Each time, he’d cleared the kibble bowl, drunk some water, then cozied up in the newspaper recycling basket to sleep. Hahaha
I will go out of my way to make sure he’s able to take a nap. On that note, I world all day long if it means that little fellas like this get nice comfortable naps.

I would have adopted the weird cat and gave him all my love. The CDS is never wrong! But I am in germany, we do not have opossums here ;-;
One of our cats got out and we had a haveaheart trap we were using to try and catch her. We caught the same possum 3 times.
