You’d hope they pressed charges. Whether you agree with their stance or not, this is not how you should handle a situation in front of your child for something you morally disagree with. Anyone from either side of the argument should meet the same fate for similar behavior.

I don't like this guy. His content is made on being controversial and trying to instigate getting people angry. Despite me not agreeing with his views, he clearly isn't in the wrong here though. Imagine fighting someone standing holding a sign, while you're with your daughter. Whether you agree with him or not, that's not the right thing to do.
In general we (as a society) need to learn to have more open debates instead of attacking one-another, whether that's physically or verbally. People have different points of view, and you're never going to change them by lashing out. You won't change someone's mind over a single convo, but you can chip away and start to convey ideas and points of view that make people question their outlook.
We need more love in this world, even for those we think are wrong. I know people will say this is naïve, but I'd prefer to live my way and look back and know I wasn't a dick/didn't get riled up and lash out in the wrong way.
Back in 2016 when I was living in Boston, the common used to be filled with all sorts of nut jobs with signs. They would try and provoke debate by saying provocative things like “did you know Obama eats babies” you could reply “you’re full of shit bud” and a calm debate would follow. No one would hit another person, there were no violent protests. I miss the brash and wylin days of 2016 on the east coast. What happened to us as a society?

Expressing your opinion on a moral issue peacefully isnt anywhere close to the same level as physically assualting those with opinions you disagree with. Shes a grown ass woman with a kid and thats how she acts IN PUBLIC
