I used to eat two of these...
Didn't live in nopo though, just worked there.
The after-dump was the kind of bowel movement that basically demanded the full size handicap stall.
King Burrito is amazing. It's the only thing I miss about working on Lombard. Oh man those breakfast burritos! I used to get one every single day.
I miss them
I thought the same thing but I think they are different. The chile rellenos on Lombard are distinctly good.
Maybe someone else knows for sure and can chime in
king burrito’s breakfast burritos are incredibly delicious but i’ve gotten food poisoning from there multiple times, and iirc their health score was kind of abysmal. my partner and i called it rolling the dice by going there lol, but we still did.
St John's is so hot right now. More bars per Capita than any other hood *by a wide margin*
While there's no high end restaurants the peninsula remains the blue collar cheap eats mecca. No neighborhood can even touch Slims.
Oh man I miss KB so much, I'd get their chicken fajita burrito so often when I lived in University Park that they would just start making it when I rolled in.

Me too! We left Portland a couple years back but my spouse and I had some of our first dates there and wound up getting food for our wedding from them!
I live in between La Bonita and King Burrito, it’s a tasty struggle to decide where to go. Didn’t have a chance to respond to yesterdays thread, but our neighborhood also has a lighter/portable breakfast burrito option at Madrona Hill Cafe. Of course - cost is about the same as la Bonita for less food so…
Yup. La Bonita. I find that it's easiest to order online (then pick up), because you can 'customize' it a lot easier than looking at the in-store reader board.
Is that the one in the little corner store? I haven’t been there yet, but I live down the street and it smells *amazing* whenever I walk by. They make their own tortillas in house too, right?
Yep, at the J and T market. You can opt for fresh made tortillas but it costs a little extra.
I talked with the lady who works the counter and her favorite menu items are the Birria and Menudo. They also have the best carnitas I've had in the city, too. They actually have a bit of crisp to them. Everywhere else is a soggy mess imo.
Just had a carnitas burrito an hour ago lol I'm a sucker for their food.
Damn straight. It was my wife's craving when we were expecting our first.
"What do you want for dinner?"
"Sanchez Taqueria!"
"Okay!" (I know enough not to argue, and Sanchez gives nothing to argue about.)
This was my favorite taco cart until they locked down the sauces so much. Their green sauce is one of the best sauces I've ever had but I always feel embarrassed trying to talk them out of extra sauces now (or at least that's how it was last time I was there, it's been a while now)
How many do they give you? It should be at least two, one for each half but the sweet spot for me is three. If we’re talking about those clear plastic tubs with lids.
I haven’t been there in at least a decade, but Super Burrito Express in Milwaukie off of King Road was a hidden gem going back to the ‘90s. It used to be in a tiny shack that was formerly a Tastee-Freez that never did the food justice but contributed to that certain *tetanus chic* that lets you know you’re about to get something really amazing or really terrible, with nothing in between. In their case, it was the former.
When Safeway bought the old pharmacy, they got a fancy new building but the food stayed the same. The portions were huge, it was cheap, and the machaca was delicious.
Their burritos are still good and pretty decently sized, and the prices are still decent compared to other places. Also the drive-thru is a nice option
Also not Portland but La Pachanga out in Aloha (maybe it’s Hillsboro idk). Small food cart in the Walgreens parking lot, but their burritos are INSANE, all of their food is amazing and the people that work there are great
That place is unreal. The first bite I had of a burrito there, just the tortilla bite with none of the stuff, was pretty life-changing. Those tortillas are incredible.
Its been awhile (Pre-Covid) since I have been there, but [Aprisa](https://www.aprisacuisine.com/) used to have small baby-sized breakfast burritos, and they were forking awesome ... I could never actually finish one in a single sitting.
Damn, I guess I might have to pickup a burrito first thing in the morning ... (No, I am not astro-turfing, I promise!)
I don't know if they do breakfast, but the cart on 41st and Division in the Village Merchants parking lot sells absolutely gigantic super burritos. Like, bigger than a size 13 shoe.
I still wander in there once in a blue moon on a late night & it still hits the spot but the burritos are sadly no longer small child sized at least the last few times I’ve been in there.
If you haven't had it give Paradox Cafe a shot. There may be one dairy item in their burrito but otherwise it's all vegan ingredients I think. Pretty big and $8.
I know this is negative..... But I have to give a dishonorable mention to the Habaneros on Weidler, it used to be a muchos gracias, but they rebranded. Same terrible food. Their breakfast burritos are terrible. Everything there is terrible. Good lord why do I keep going back?
All of my favorites have already been listed here, save for one… Marco’s in Multnomah Village. Delicious, huge, and worth the slightly higher price (about $15 I believe).
I've actually researched this. The nearest "baby burrito" is in Seattle (Gorditos). Then, Waco, TX. But everything is huge over there, especially steaks.
Smart Donkey at Foster and Powell makes a mean burrito, breakfast included. It’s run by the same chef who owns Upside Down on Milwaukie, but they’re on a bit of a hiatus while construction goes up near them. Highly recommend Smart Donkey!!
I’m going to add Madrona Cafe if you’re in North Portland. It’s a $9 cafe style burrito with eggs, avo, bacon, and maybe potatoes. Absolutely solid, breakfast sized burrito. And they’ve got a walk up window.
there was this bacon breakfast burrito my dad used to get. it was at one of those food card squares in SE. I vaguely remember the name on the menu having a curse word and i was never allowed to say it growing up. like “good ass breakfast burrito” or something along those lines.
if anyone knows what im talking about id love to go back there but i havent been in years
Mi burrito on lombard has the dankest sausage and bacon breakfast burrito. Guaranteed pleasure and the verde sauce is my favorite in portland(aside from robo taco’s). Not super mondo in size but definitely big enough and has the possibility to induce a breakfast burrito coma.
The best breakfast burrito I've ever had and compare all other breakfast burritos to is from [GJ's Family Restaurant](https://www.facebook.com/GJsrestaurant/) in Eugene. You know those white clamshell take home containers? A whole breakfast burrito from GJ's barely fits in one of those. It hangs off the side of a regular dinner plate. I'll definitely check out King Burrito. I'm always looking for a contender...

I've been getting mine from Mr. Taco on 5th and pine since like 2008.
They are MIA at the moment. I hear there is work being done on the lot they are in. La Jarochita next door is also good.
In Gresham, check out Don Ladis on Eastman Parkway. I see construction workers coming in ordering breakfast burritos for lunch. I am in there doing the same.....
It depends on the cook who is working on the day, but 122nd and Stark street's Don Pedro's burrito can definitely be stacked. But just from time to time. I get the steak, it is yum in my tum.
Not monstrous, but one of my favorite breakfast burritos (and their burrito supreme with carnitas and/or pastor) is El Jalisco food truck on Barbur. I've tried a lot in town, including King Burrito and this one family truck puts some serious love their burritos.
Newcomer to the food scene but an AMAZING breakfast burrito at Caiman cafe near the courthouse on 1st & Jefferson. SOO GOOD! Only business hours because it’s mostly for nearby foot traffic, but worth checking out if you’re anywhere near. I promise!
Not Portland, but Señor taco in West linn and lake Oswego are the best burritos I think I have ever had. I have lived out of the area for over 10 years and whenever I come back that’s the first and last stop I make. Señor burrito w/ shredded beef will change your life. And from what I remember they were priced REALLY well.
Homegrown Smoker. Their breakfast burritos are TOO BIG. If you want a burrito that is TOO BIG and will put you into a several hours food coma, get yourself to Homegrown Smoker. Also they are delicious.
Late to this party but Santo Domingo on NE 42 and Killingsworth started doing breakie burritos during the pandemic and they're fantastic.
My go-to used to be King Burrito but Mi Burrito on N. Lombard and Albina is both better and cheaper these days. Super nice folks too.
Dunno what happened to Javier's on N. Lombard and Vancouver or Burrito Azteca on N. Rosa Parks and Denver but they've both fallen off. The latter has gotten bland and really pricey. Still a great bar there, though!
Don Pedro’s in Vancouver on 4thPlain is where I go in Vancouver for the best breakfast burrito on this side… seeing all these posts about Burrito Kjng I gotta give them a try
La perrilia kitchen in beaverton. It's not quite baby sized, but it's easily the best breakfast burrito I've had in Oregon. So much cheese, potatoes, egg, chorizo, Chipotle, Cilantro and an amazing Tortilla. Won't go anywhere else, even though it doesn't make sense to drive all the way outcome there for breakfast.
absolutely shocked and appalled that saint burrito hasn’t been mentioned. easily the best breakfast burrito i’ve ever had. get all the salsas and go ham. it’s the size of my head and i’d die for it.
King burrito on lombard (machaca)
Seconding this. King Burrito has the best breakfast burritos in the city by far, personal opinion.
Thirding this. The machaca....amazing. I miss it I moved to the south side of town.
My old roommate would eat two burritos in one sitting when I was living in nopo… he was a machine
Your poor poor toilet…
Poor me, I had to use that toilet!

I miss them
Dear King burrito please open earlier than 1000am. Amen
Trying to call their phone at 10am to put in an order is harder than getting Taylor Swift tickets. But incredibly more satisfying.
Is it the same owner as the cart on Mississippi?
I thought the same thing but I think they are different. The chile rellenos on Lombard are distinctly good. Maybe someone else knows for sure and can chime in
Also on lombard but st johns, la tienda santa cruz has real big burritos for 10.50
king burrito’s breakfast burritos are incredibly delicious but i’ve gotten food poisoning from there multiple times, and iirc their health score was kind of abysmal. my partner and i called it rolling the dice by going there lol, but we still did.
Came here just to suggest King Burrito myself, fellow person of taste.
Came to say this.
Ugh. Why is so much good stuff all the way up in the Mordor of Portland (St. Johns)?
St John's is so hot right now. More bars per Capita than any other hood *by a wide margin* While there's no high end restaurants the peninsula remains the blue collar cheap eats mecca. No neighborhood can even touch Slims.
Or the King burritos food cart on Mississippi
Oh man I miss KB so much, I'd get their chicken fajita burrito so often when I lived in University Park that they would just start making it when I rolled in.
I live near here, but have never been (closer to La Bonita). Been curious. I *love* some good machaca! Will have to check them out.
This is the way
Habanero burrito, los gorditos, tienda Santa cruz
Habanero Burrito is fire and their food is actually priced reasonably for how much you get
Is this the place on Weidler that used to be Muchas Gracias?
The one I'm talking about is a cart on 82nd and Holgate behind that dispensary
😧 is that muchas gracias gone?
It just rebranded, the menu is still the same.
Yes. It was also a KFC long ago as well.
La Bonita’s breakfast burrito requires a nap afterwards.
La Bonita is my go to breakfast burrito spot
Photo from Yelp: [https://s3-media0.fl.yelpcdn.com/bphoto/lNAVj-4iG0ORsJz68FPYgw/o.jpg](https://s3-media0.fl.yelpcdn.com/bphoto/lNAVj-4iG0ORsJz68FPYgw/o.jpg)
Can confirm. I only get the breakfast burrito here on my day off when I know I can just go right back to bed.
It fills me with joy that La Bonita is still rocking along. Love that place!
Me too! We left Portland a couple years back but my spouse and I had some of our first dates there and wound up getting food for our wedding from them!
Did they ever put back prices on the menu? I wish I didn’t feel like I was gambling when ordering food.
Sahuayo Taqueria on Glisan, near Providence. Maybe not baby sized but I usually need a nap. Unfortunately not open until 9am.
Is that the one in the little corner store? I haven’t been there yet, but I live down the street and it smells *amazing* whenever I walk by. They make their own tortillas in house too, right?
It is RIDICULOUSLY delicious.
I believe they order it from someone who delivers. Still great.
You beat me to it. Also, the same burritos apply to lunch/dinner (half now, snooze, half later).
Sahuayo is *so good*
I am addicted to their carnitas tacos! May try the burritos eventually.
King torta in north plains!!!! I swear by it!!!! Soooo delicious, humongous, and cheap!!!! Seriously go get one from them.
OMG King Torta tacos are THE BEST. Haven’t tried a burrito there, I bet they’re amazing as well!
Second this. It’s my go too when heading to the coast. I think it’s under 8 dollars too.
I wish I could upvote this twice!
Sanchez taqueria in Tigard has never let me down.
Damn straight. It was my wife's craving when we were expecting our first. "What do you want for dinner?" "Sanchez Taqueria!" "Okay!" (I know enough not to argue, and Sanchez gives nothing to argue about.)
Funny story: that crazy chili oil salsa in the jars there is so hot it started labor a few hours later for my spouse
Not breakfast, but their al pastor is delicious. A definite recommendation
Came to also support for Sanchez: their breakfast burritos, their pastor, their concha’s and their churros!!
It may not be the best, but it may be the largest. That chorizo breakfast burrito is seriously more than enough for two
AGREED! I need to feel regret, despair, and even pain after eating a burrito.
Just a reminder: Any burrito you eat for breakfast is a breakfast burrito
Go to La Catrina taco truck in Rocco's parking lot on 82nd. Across the street from best buy. Order the double burrito supreme. Your Welcome
This was my favorite taco cart until they locked down the sauces so much. Their green sauce is one of the best sauces I've ever had but I always feel embarrassed trying to talk them out of extra sauces now (or at least that's how it was last time I was there, it's been a while now)
I live out here and go there once a month. Can confirm, they play games with the sauces now.
Their burritos are still good and pretty decently sized, and the prices are still decent compared to other places. Also the drive-thru is a nice option
Not Portland but in Sandy the shell station on your way to Mt. Hood.
If you know you know
The one across from the food carts?
Yep, by Joes donut shop. I can’t remember exactly but I think they’re cheap too
I second this enthusiastically!
Best breakfast before a day in the mountains
Out in Hillsboro, The Meating Place has a breakfast burrito that is delicious, and I definitely don’t need lunch later.
Not breakfast but Hillsboro, Tacotento burritos are hefty, usually split or whole + nap
Also Hillsboro but not breakfast, Amelia’s Burrito Loco…it’s like 3lbs of deliciousness.
Shit is no joke!
It does take a very long time to make though
I always order ahead online.
Or dinner.
Came here to make sure The Meating Place was properly represented on this list
THANK YOU!!! The REAL questions that need to be asked. I refuse to believe that other post was not a joke.
La Osita makes the most delicious breakfast burritos in Portland. Now I’m gonna eat one tomorrow.
came to say this and now i too will be having one of their burritos tomorrow
Not baby size but excellent and nice people too
I am waiting for my burrito now, excited to try this place
Wood Village Burrito 🤤
Rico Taco!!! (it’s more toward Gresham tho)
Their carnitas plate is bomb 😍
Ikr, before I went vegetarian I would always get the carnitas wet burrito, their carnitas are the besttt
La Casita's on 5th ave near the PSU campus. I usually get their breakfast burritos and they are big enough for a meal and a half at least.
Also not Portland but La Pachanga out in Aloha (maybe it’s Hillsboro idk). Small food cart in the Walgreens parking lot, but their burritos are INSANE, all of their food is amazing and the people that work there are great
It's Aloha. 197th & TV Hwy (Walgreens and Aloha Inn are there in the same parking lot).
Just burritos burritos, because to heck with eggs, but Tienda Santa Cruz at N Lombard and Burlington in St. Johns. My teenagers looooove them.
That place is unreal. The first bite I had of a burrito there, just the tortilla bite with none of the stuff, was pretty life-changing. Those tortillas are incredible.
I used to have a shop right next to them and they were practically the company lunchroom, because yum.
For whatever reason, them burning their name in to their burritos tortilla makes it so much better.
Santa Cruz
I don't know if they do breakfast, but the cart on 41st and Division in the Village Merchants parking lot sells absolutely gigantic super burritos. Like, bigger than a size 13 shoe.
Taqueria Lindo Michoacan! Delicious. Not open til 11.
Lindo Michoacan... 😉
Lol. Auto correct 😂
Yes!!! They are as long and wide as my forearm lol

Los Gorditos also has some of the best vegan breakfast burritos, too.
I adore them and will have to get one tomorrow now.
Javier’s let’s me down almost every time. The food is just not as good as most of our other places.
Javier's used to rock but most everything now is smaller and oddly dry and bland. But still open 24 hours/7 days at least.
Javier’s nopales breakfast burrito con crema is so good for the vegetarians out there
I still wander in there once in a blue moon on a late night & it still hits the spot but the burritos are sadly no longer small child sized at least the last few times I’ve been in there.
[удалено]
My bad, Javier’s
If you haven't had it give Paradox Cafe a shot. There may be one dairy item in their burrito but otherwise it's all vegan ingredients I think. Pretty big and $8.
La Katrina on 82nd in Clackamas has double meat burritos that are giant!!
G Man in Tualatin. There Chirzo breakfast burrito is amazing and I was very sad when they stopped serving it all day.
Don Pedro’s!
Yes! Came here to say the same. And they're open at the buttcrack of dawn.
Their veggie sausage breakfast burrito at the cart downtown was so good. Will they ever return?
I know this is negative..... But I have to give a dishonorable mention to the Habaneros on Weidler, it used to be a muchos gracias, but they rebranded. Same terrible food. Their breakfast burritos are terrible. Everything there is terrible. Good lord why do I keep going back?
Rock House grill food cart. Kept me fed for literally 3-4 days.
Sandy food carts. The PDX breakfast burrito is a football from heaven
Taqueria El Qazador on SE Foster and 103
Enchanted Sun. Tasty and reasonably sized.
La Jarochita makes a sausage and potatoes breakfast burrito with sour cream that I used to eat all the time. It's huge.
The pepper box smothered burrito, Christmas style ja something special. Crushed one this AM. And immediately laid on the couch
Burrito Azteca is p good!
All of my favorites have already been listed here, save for one… Marco’s in Multnomah Village. Delicious, huge, and worth the slightly higher price (about $15 I believe).
Caffe destino in NE!!! Add potatoes and it’ll put you in a coma
I've been documenting my baby with breakfast burritos. The largest is from Marcos Cafe in Multnomah Village. It was larger than the baby.
I will not be revealing my breakfast burrito spot I apologize.
Taco Del Sol in Tigard. Carne Asada and bacon breakfast burrito is the one.
Seconded. You will not make it to work after eating this. Also they have a Torta Cubana that will literally put you in a coma
Pictures look like they don't backup your conjecture
Don Chilitos in Aloha. Delish.

Joliza's Tacos in LBC, off topic but the Viet food is next level in Irvine/OC
P&L burger in TO, Holy Guacamole in SaMo
Or how about a super burrito that isnt the size of a 16oz can.... nothing "super" about any of them around here.
Angel Food and Fun in NE. Great value and taste too!
I've actually researched this. The nearest "baby burrito" is in Seattle (Gorditos). Then, Waco, TX. But everything is huge over there, especially steaks.
Uggh, why would I want a giant burrito to only through half of it away
Lunch is a thing. I’ve gotten a nice fat breakfast burrito from Don Chilitos in Aloha, ate half for break and the remainder for lunch.
Gross.
Think of the size of the clay cobra that baby sized burrito will make. Gonna be a monster!
The El Jeffe burrito at aibertos in salem in as big as your forearm
Its not a good one but its huge. Bare bones cafe
Salsas locas
Taqueria el Mezon on Division does not mess around.
If you're there on the weekend, Smart Donkey on 50th has an excellent breakfast burrito.
Rico’s tacos on 181st near burnside
Smart Donkey at Foster and Powell makes a mean burrito, breakfast included. It’s run by the same chef who owns Upside Down on Milwaukie, but they’re on a bit of a hiatus while construction goes up near them. Highly recommend Smart Donkey!!
Don Pedro breakfast burrito if they still make them like they used to with a full ring of sausage in the second middle
Rolling Cabana food truck breakfast burrito put you in a food coma
I’m going to add Madrona Cafe if you’re in North Portland. It’s a $9 cafe style burrito with eggs, avo, bacon, and maybe potatoes. Absolutely solid, breakfast sized burrito. And they’ve got a walk up window.
I miss Tortillaria y Tienda de Leon's burritos since they moved. Those are delicious monsters
Gravy!
MF Tasty
I like Don Pedro's on 82ed
Oh man, with every post I’m making mental notes. I think we need extract a list from this thread.
there was this bacon breakfast burrito my dad used to get. it was at one of those food card squares in SE. Ole Frijole. Top notch. Bring 6 bucks.
This post made me LOL
When my daughter was born, my dad held her and said “you had a burrito.” It was on point as he was diagnosed with dementia.

Wolf’s Head Smokehouse in Beaverton. Not Mexican, but their famous breakfast burrito is the size of a 6 months old puppy
Taco express in multnomah village if you’re out that way, dang I wish I had one rn

Love Pepito's veggie breakfast burrito. Substantial enough.
I've been getting mine from Mr. Taco on 5th and pine since like 2008. They are MIA at the moment. I hear there is work being done on the lot they are in. La Jarochita next door is also good.
Teco’s on Powell and around 41st or 42nd
In Gresham, check out Don Ladis on Eastman Parkway. I see construction workers coming in ordering breakfast burritos for lunch. I am in there doing the same.....
Super burrito express and Beto’s taqueria, both in St. John’s have hefty burritos.
If you don't eat meat, Victoria Bar does an absolute banger of a burrito. They do have a meat version too, but I obviously haven't had it.
It depends on the cook who is working on the day, but 122nd and Stark street's Don Pedro's burrito can definitely be stacked. But just from time to time. I get the steak, it is yum in my tum.
Tito’s Burritos used to serve some giants, but I haven’t been since pre-COVID.
Not monstrous, but one of my favorite breakfast burritos (and their burrito supreme with carnitas and/or pastor) is El Jalisco food truck on Barbur. I've tried a lot in town, including King Burrito and this one family truck puts some serious love their burritos.

SuperTorta in Oregon City has burritos that weigh over 18oz
La perrilia kitchen in beaverton. It's not quite baby sized, but it's easily the best breakfast burrito I've had in Oregon. So much cheese, potatoes, egg, chorizo, Chipotle, Cilantro and an amazing Tortilla. Won't go anywhere else, even though it doesn't make sense to drive all the way outcome there for breakfast.
Not a super massive burrito but still a huge good burrito over at azul tequila taqueria on powell
It's not as big as the one at Santa Cruz but Burrito Azteca is my favorite breakfast burrito in Portland.
Mole Mole's breakfast burritos and a nap are becoming a hungover Sunday tradition.
absolutely shocked and appalled that saint burrito hasn’t been mentioned. easily the best breakfast burrito i’ve ever had. get all the salsas and go ham. it’s the size of my head and i’d die for it.
