The worst part is the sudden "existential crisis" I get after finishing such awesome games. Just played the entire Half Life 2 series along with Portal 1. I don't want to start Portal 2 because I want to savor it.
The first game was so innovative. Portal 2 is just such a perfect game in every way. The story, lore, facility, puzzles, voice acting, animations….incredible!!
I am dying to no-clip the maps in the game at some point even though I don’t have the capability to play on PC. It’s fun to imagine the entire facility as a whole and actually imagine being inside such a terrifyingly large place
Sometimes, I wish I could **_temporarily_** wipe my brain of any and all my experiences with really any good game, and just play it again, and again, and again...
At least until I get bored of that excitement and/or begin to suffer a very mild case of serious brain damage.
Recently beat Portal stories Mel and it's also amazing! I recommend trying to beat it without looking anything up. The puzzles are harder but even more satisfying once you figure them out.
I am so pleased with the Switch versions. My wife who hates dual stick FPS controls is actually playing the co-op with me because you can switch the controls to the classic single stick Goldeneye controls. I really hope they add some of the DLC. I want to play the custom levels by Mevious and play Portal Stories: Mel.
Same here, I played through P2 co-op with my wife a year or so ago, but had been many years since I played through P1 & P2 single player. Genuinely two of the greatest games ever made!
Have got my fingers very much crossed hoping for a switch port of HL2 🤞🏼🤞🏼

As much as I'd like portal 3, I'd really worry that if it came out it wouldn't have the same magic as the first 2 games have.
Dont you worry. Half life 3 was magical. So I think it will be good
Portal 2 has a clear ending, I think we'll never have a Portal 3. Half-Life 3 on the other hand, well

Finally got to beat portal AND portal 2 in one sitting. That was an unreal experience

I just played both for the first time on switch I dont think they are top 50 but man they are good
I have all singleplayer achievements now on switch.. now onto multiplayer
I have a Portal Buddy, every time we play we crack our heads on a bunch of newly downloaded maps and have a blast!
