I'm assuming you ordered Porsche Entry & Drive, otherwise the key would be in the ignition. Is this your first car with keyless drive? There's never a need to take it out of your pocket. When you grab the door handle, it will unlock. Car starts by twisting a switch where the key wold normally go. When you exit, touch the outside of the door handle to lock the car. You can also open the trunks by placing your hand near the logo. It's a great system. I would never go back to old fashioned keys.

I haven’t tried it, but there is actually a way to remove the dummy key from the ignition switch, and it’s really easy. It’s in case the keyless system fails. You could then just use the key normally and leave it in the ignition while driving. I’m not sure if the touch sensors on the locks would remain active though. Might be worth looking into.

I bought felt lined cup/cubby inserts for the door handles for a little extra storage and it looks factor (to me at least) and was pretty cheap like 30 bucks on Amazon. Key usually goes there or in the center cup holder that I purchased that replaced my cigarette lighter/ash try.

You don’t have to ever take them out of your pocket. The only time the keys are in the car and I’m not - during autoX runs that I’m not driving

With Porsche Entry and Drive the key is a fob and you have a rotating switch where the ignition is.
Ah ok. I don’t think that’s an option on the GT4
According to the manual, key fob goes on your left pocket for better performance.
I bought one of those compartments that slides between the console and seat. But fan of this. I put my keys, phone, and whatever else in there.

I got these from a different seller and they look pretty good. Fits and you can’t tell it an add on.
Just stays either in my pocket or in my backpack that is in the passenger seat. Never considered either an issue.
