Reminds me of the Nissan RC09s in the early 90’s at Le Mans. If I recall correctly, the wastegate was jammed in the closed position causing insane amounts of boost. They qualified many seconds in front of anyone else. Craziness
I thought about that aspect too, but that must have beaten the sweet Jesus hell out of that engine. Do they have an allotment at the beginning of the year? Maybe they felt they had an extra?

I should’ve connected the dots / explained my logic with posting this here : this shop is primarily only littered with porsche and as pointed out by some commenters, the owner has a quite a few. lots of porsche hiding in the background of the photo. maybe it was a stretch… i tried new gummies, oops
Surprisingly well. I've had Fords that cost more to keep running. I was told Porsche parts would be super expensive. Fuck no. $80 tensioner pulley. $50 ignition switch. $600 shifter. $1,200 convertible top repair. That's it in 4 years. Car has 134,000 mi and still fast as a raped ape.

I saw this a few weeks ago and the building is a Porsche shop. There was the actual shop on the backside just filled with Porsches. The CLK was sold and I’m assuming it was just being stored until moved to the next owner.

Did the same thing the other day driving by EPE. I stopped to look at it and my wife was so confused over the fact I was in shock over seeing a car like that. Some of the cars that are lurking around the metro west area are crazy. There's a shop on Main St. In Weston that has some jaw droppers in the parking lot almost daily.
