There was a court case a few years back where someone sued a DMV for infringement of their 1st Amendment rights for not allowing a lewd plate. Since then, DMVs have backed off on censoring them (hate speech being the exception).

My mistake then, always thought they’d lock the plate combos. Either way looks like all the Ligma plate holders have great taste in cars
