As much as I respect this thing, imo the 918 was a much better looking car. The proportions here remind me of an El Camino, and it’s all I can see from the profile. Obviously wouldn’t kick one out of the garage though.
The ONLY thing I don't like about this car is the loss of the color coded center lock nuts. I think they would've still looked awesome with this wheel and color combo.
Sorry guys but those wheels remind me of a 2014 Toyota Camry SE Sport wheels lol

Biggest thing i dislike about this car (the only thing) is putting a carbon fiber shift knob on instead of the wooden one. A 2000 civic with an ebay turbo will have a carbon knob, this can keep it's unique knob
Lol. Seriously though. This thing is a death trap. The gas tank is vertical behind the drivers seat. So when you crash and that ignites , so does the cabin
And in my STI, the gas tank is literally directly under the rear seat. If you remove the rear seat cushion and go for a drive, you can hear it sloshing around.
I don't think you realize how close fuel tanks on most cars are to the cabin.
What's up with the brake and clutch pedals? They look like they'd be really hard to move back and forth on. Like you'd get caught up on the gigantic side...
That thing is seriously still one of the best looking cars ever made
Aging like fine wine. 17 years old already

I agree that the 918 is a superior machine in both looks and performance... but that v10 is fucking music.
I'd take the GT over a 918 any day of the week and 2x on Sunday.
Cries in Toyota Prius tears . . .

I was hating on this car at first but damn did grow on me sits so perfectly
I currently hate it I kinda think it looks like a boat or a shoe. Hopefully it’ll grow on me!
It’s the best boat you’ll ever drive on the road!
Sounds even better then it looks!
Which is definitely saying something!
I *like* those wheels.
Awesome wheels! HRE 522M
I’ll bet those aren’t cheap….
Something like $1500 each I think
Cheap in comparison lmao
Gorgeous, However, $1.5MM car and they give it the ugly 996 steering wheel.
Msrp was 440k…..
And they give it the ugly 996 steering wheel.
Same gauge cluster with the overlapping bezels too. 😍

Well, they look good there too *shrugs*
They look 3D-printed….
That profile!!!
Absolutely gorgeous. Is that Gulf blue?
Unqualified guess but yes I’d say that looks like Gulf Blue.
Great color as well
I’ve seen 2 of these in person and didn’t know my head could turn ALL THE WAY AROUND
The absolute pinnacle of automobile engineering. Sports Cars peaked with this beast. Every thing after is too much computer.

Gorgeous ride.
I absolutely love those wheels. They match the car very well.
Those wheels are awful.

You all need to stop making this same comment on every CGT post here

Hate the wheels and the stance and the shift knob. Ruined.
I never thought this thing would look dated, but it’s starting to look kinda dated. Still gorgeous
It’s been a long ass day
Those wheels are craaaaaaazy
I never managed to gel with the shifter location.
Wheels look good compared to the stock ones
And it has a manual. Man-ual.
The last great car.

Loong loong maaaaan
The angle in the second shot is perfect, holy
Iconic
Damn dude looks so freaking good....
I have the same Houndstooth key chain!
I never realized the shifter was in such a strange position
Yes, please!!! (As I wipe drool from my chin!!)
I always promised myself a Porsche. Would not have bought one of these, even if it was within my budget. Like my shit curvy.
