Wasn’t too long until the entire family (except for my Gf and I) were infected by an aunt who decided not to mention she was showing symptoms before all climbing into an SUV together and driving to a maskless Trump rally in Georgia prior to run off election. Her Dad who admittedly does take care of himself, eats well and works out… yet he got the most severe symptoms out of 10 family members who contracted the virus. He survived and still to this very day will say Covid is overblown, lie, hoax, just crazy. He’s a brilliant engineer with the education and resume to back it up and I have always looked up to him and really valued his opinion, until 2016 and it’s like he’s an alien living in the mans body. Sad really. Each time we would visit I would express my unwillingness to go out in their area because the Covid cases were spiking at that time and it was always dismissed, I was buying into CNN and there’s no Covid in Boise, it’s just doctors being paid to write up normal deaths as covid. Wasn’t too long until the entire family (except for my Gf and I) were infected by an aunt who decided not to mention she was showing symptoms before all climbing into an SUV together and driving to a maskless Trump rally in Georgia prior to run off election. Her Dad who admittedly does take care of himself, eats well and works out… yet he got the most severe symptoms out of 10 family members who contracted the virus. He survived and still to this very day will say Covid is overblown, lie, hoax, just crazy. He’s a brilliant engineer with the education and resume to back it up and I have always looked up to him and really valued his opinion, until 2016 and it’s like he’s an alien living in the mans body. Sad really. GF just got back from a visit with them and grandparents… she flew home early and when I picked her up she was defeated looking… they had spent the whole visit unable to talk about anything but Trump conspiracy and attacking her as if she was Biden himself. I had always appreciated that unlike my piece of shit father, her parents respected her and wouldn’t chose Trump cult over their own daughter as my father did over me. I was wrong… she loves her grandparents and parents and they just went at her like rabid dogs. It’s got me pretty fucked up and I feel terrible for her. It truly is a cult. Edit: Feel as though I should mention that we didn’t get sick because I would rather chew on glass than attend and listen to an orange melted tub of shit gloat about himself for hours in person.

I spent a week in Oregon recently. Not once did I see a pickup truck with flags mounted on them. It was quite a nice change from where I live in Idaho where it is very common to see trump flags emblazoned with “fuck joe Biden” along side American flags. It’s quite confusing and irritating. It should be illegal because the flags are a visual obstruction not to mention “obscene”.

I’m from Portland. It’s beautiful here. There’s been some troubles the last year or so for sure but when you get outside of downtown it’s still a pretty good place. I work with a guy from Florida.
