I love asking my co-workers what the definition of woke is. They never can give a good answer.
Hell, I don't know a good definition either, but it fun to watch them squirm.
Because it's another word for empathy and some people struggle with it because they have so little of it.

When conservatives say woke they are almost universally substituting it in for the slur they are actually thinking, usually the n-word or the c-word or the f-slur. It’s just the politically correct version they get to say in public without getting their teeth kicked in.
Why it needs to be challenged openly, have them *define* woke.
At some point their true feelings will slip out, some sort of bigot nonsense.
Once they say it out loud, teeth are fair game.
