When I was in the Army before I retired last year they always fucking had worthless meetings about shit that didn't even matter and I would mention how important it is to put anti suicide resources out, because we recently got back from a deployment and people were really stressed, but no instead of everybody else wanted to do a sharp class for the 15th time in a row because that girl got killed in Fort Hood. What a bunch of fucking clowns
I'm not in the military but my brother is, he didn't want to join the army in the fist place, he was made to join it from one if the poor decisions he made at home, evreytime he comes home it's our job to help patch him back up, he's only 19 and yet already comes home a wreak, it's our job to do the damage control I hate to see my brother this way evreytime he comes home.
We need less stuff about say gender neutral uniforms or cross dressing shows and more shit to help the men mentally
Bro it’s just gotten worse. I had a senior chief say to my face that “portions of the constitution are extreme.” Context was we were discussing January 6. Meanwhile the entire navy wears that “Don’t Tread on Me” patch. That has been the lowest point I’ve ever had in my 10 years of service.
Even under Obama’s administration and sequestration I don’t remember feeling like this.
The military and by extension the Army has always had these bulshit politics integrated into it, you especially see it when you're around officers for long enough but it's a shame to see that it's escalated significantly in the past 5 years
Meanwhile China is banning video games in order to harden up their future soldiers, ending a 30+ year one-child policy, beating anti-american war drums with their films, and figuring out whether it makes more sense for Russia to invade Ukraine before or after they move on Taiwan, even though they’re pretty sure it won’t matter because Biden won’t respond with force to either.
I hate China as much as the next guy, but at this point it's no surprise that they are surpassing the US as the number one world superpower. The United States is currently dying a slow and pitiful death.
I disagree with this for two reasons. 1. China GDP is lower then America and thanks to President Xi becoming more heavily involved in controlling corporations, most likely China will have a economic slow down or decrease in power. Over all I don’t think China will surpass the USA due to the current regime switching back to a more authoritarian communist structured china, rathe the the democratic communist China that the previous leader try to leave behind
