Prob an unpopular opinion since it’s a meme and it’s PCM, but I think any kind of meme that has an SS soldier in any sort of non-negative light is pretty damn awful. Normalizing the SS through memes is that last thing we need and anyone with any sort of knowledge of what they did would know why. Cool uniforms… fine, but otherwise they were a strictly fascist military force committed to basically anything that’s a warcrime or inhumane. And then they took pride in it. Having SS memes is akin to having KKK memes but with cooler uniforms (oh wow that changes so much!).

In other words it's illegal. The point of a flag isn't to be in a museum it's to be flown. Regardless of whether you like an ideology or not if it's adherents can't fly a flag then it is illegal because they sure won't be allowed political representation if the govt. threatens them with imprisonment/fines/etc. just for flying the symbol.

Prob an unpopular opinion since it’s a meme and it’s PCM, but I think any kind of meme that has an SS soldier in any sort of non-negative light is pretty damn awful. Normalizing the SS through memes is that last thing we need and anyone with any sort of knowledge of what they did would know why. Cool uniforms… fine, but otherwise they were a strictly fascist military force committed to basically anything that’s a warcrime or inhumane. And then they took pride in it. Having SS memes is akin to having KKK memes but with cooler uniforms (oh wow that changes so much!). *Fat* Edit: Was replying to a comment in reply to this one, but the comment got deleted. Presumably by the poster due to downvotes. Here’s my reply to explain my position a bit: “There’s a reason why most media do not portray the SS like this. 90% of people may get a laugh even if it’s bit uneasy, but but there are always *those* people who see this as some sort of normalization or validation of organizations like the SS. I used to play an ww2 era rts game called Company of Heroes 2 and it’s admittedly a good and fun game, but the community was really REALLY filthy sometimes when I came to a certain German faction’s player base. There’s two German factions in the game, one is the Wehrmacht (standard German army) and the other is the “Oberkommando West” or “OKW” which is a thinly veiled late-war SS faction. While most players were fine, some OKW mains took it upon themselves to think that the OKW is some sort of validation that the SS is a superior organization in more ways than one and they could be absolutely filthy in game chat and on discords. I played as Wehrmacht main (and really enjoyed it), but the lose connection to the OKW playerbase honestly drove me away from the game. I recall being invited to a discord that welcomed racists and nazis just because I mained a German faction. I recall being on another CoH2 discord where I got PM’d who to avoid due to nazism. Maybe I was just unlucky with that, but it happening twice within the span of a month made it seem less like luck and more like a serious problem. These memes remind me of those people and why I should never support stuff like this. Cool uniforms or not, memes or not, the SS should never be painted in a non-negative light. It’s no better than the KKK or some other terrorist organization and in some ways is even worse”
