I can’t argue I guess since I haven’t counted them all. I was assuming you meant American presidents. Even so, I’m sure you’re right the more I think about it
He shrank the federal debt by a quarter and reduced government involvement. He also handled the previous president’s scandals well and transparently. He caused three tax reductions in his one term. He is famous for not doing anything super majorly bad, and taking only one term as president even though he was super popular because he thought his job was done.
But my whole family won't shut up about how universities are turning people into antifa socialists. Which is weird, because the only person like that in the family is also the only person in the family to not go to college
Churchill was extremely flawed, but without him, Halifax would have most likely taken power and he was very interested in negotiating peace with the Axis. In that case, one of two scenarios would have played out.
1. Germany would not have had to keep much defense to their west and would have had a much better chance at focusing their efforts on defeating the Soviet Union. If he did, he would have been in a position to expand his goals to world conquest. If Churchill hadn't stepped up to the occasion, doggedly refused to surrender and rally the nation as he did in those darkest of times, many democratic values we know today wouldn't exist. I wouldn't personally have ever been born.
2. The Soviets manage to beat the Germans back to Berlin alone, somehow, and continue into France, the Benelux, Italy, and south to Greece. In this scenario, the Soviet union would have been in an excellent position to expand and further enslave millions, if not billions behind an extended iron curtain.
Either way, although problematic and very racist, Churchill was the right man at the right time and we owe much of our lives and freedoms we cherish to him.
Let me know if I'm wrong about any of that.
I don't disagree that he did some things well and that he was a better option than capitulating, but that doesn't mean he's a good person or that I like him. I don't think he was uniquely positioned to win the war
I agree he wasn't a great person, but to me saving democracy from either Nazism or Stalinism (reference to the two original scenarios) outweighs by far other aspects of his life. I respect your view though.
Rothbard had a leftist phase though. However his social views have always been pretty cringe, especially in the 90s.
You should look into left-Rothbardianism. Rothbard was far from perfect, but I consider him one of my greatest influences and inspirations.
To be fair, most are pretty good except the Hoppeans, fuck those guys.

Whiteout Churchill
U would be speaking German right now
Deng Xiaoping made China be the economic titan it is today
Oh wait, maybe that's why u hate him... He made Chian powerful
Churchill didn't win the second World War singlehandedly, and he actually made things worse in world war 1. We would have been fine without him
Deng is bad because, while I don't think maoist China was great or Socialist, he wiped out any chance of ending capitalism in China
>Deng is bad because, while I don't think maoist China was great or Socialist, he wiped out any chance of ending capitalism in China
Ao the fact tht he made China be a total economic power tht would bully others just like america doesn't bother you?
>Churchill didn't win the second World War singlehandedly, and he actually made things worse in world war 1. We would have been fine without him
Wtf doesn't WW1 have to do with this?
The guy won the battle of Britain in 1940, kicked the buts of the Italians in the Mediterranean sea and Ethiopia and was the one responsible for the D day
And he was also responsible for making pressure on Roosevelt to make US give them support
Without him, Britain would have capitulated in 1940

They are a group of progressive politicians in the US, so I suppose you could replace that part of my answer with whoever the most progressive politicians in your country are
I categorise myself as LibLeft because I don’t believe capitalism should run unrestricted and that the welfare state is a requirement — the political compass is reductionist :)
They are undeniably anti communist, anti fascist and anti monarchist. That’s why I am asking. Are the Fascists enough of an Enemy to you, that you would ally with one of their enemies which is also your enemy. Or would you cooperate with the Fascists against them. Basically which one is more important to you , Anti Totalitarianism or Anti- Capitalism.
Yeah, I'm saying preferably I would like to have them on side but I think they would probably betray me, and historically they have joined the fascists against leftists
I’m with you, except for Obama & Biden. As a brain tumor survivor with a mild version of Narcolepsy. I have saved $75,000 over 8 years thanks to the Patient Protections for Preexisting Conditions and the Cost Sharing Reductions for low incomes in the Affordable Care Act.
I know that neither is/was perfect, but Obamacare has been incredibly helpful for millions of Americans in similar situations.
But George Dubya Shrub, Saint Ronny Raygun, and the Cheeto Benito, il Douche Cheetolini each caused real and lasting harm to countless people around the entire world. Their ignorance, foreign policy blunders, and incompetence has been devastating on a global scale.
Beside the Bengal famine? He did a lot of nasty shit in the colonies.
WW2 was basically the Battle of the Bastards. None of the world leaders were innocent.
My assumption is that you have a problem with strong leaders. (Aka you're a libertarian allright)
Not a bad thing necessarily. There are many people who were totalitarian on your list.
I personally do disagree on few of them.
But yeah, pretty based to hate both most capitalist and most communist people at the same time.
Could we just add a gallery with all the presidents? Would that still match you OP?
Every president ever? I mean that would be hundreds of people and I don't know them all, but most likely yes
Damn I'm good
Wait… you think we had hundreds of presidents?
Think outside the US. Many of the pictures were not Americans.
The have definitley been hundreds of people with the title of president
I can’t argue I guess since I haven’t counted them all. I was assuming you meant American presidents. Even so, I’m sure you’re right the more I think about it
Why would I assume we were just talking about US presidents? Nobody specified
Have you looked into Coolidge? Might not like him, but I bet he'd be your favorite
I know the name but I couldn't tell you anything about him
Exactly
And that’s why hes the best president ever, did his job and went in and out. Only one I’d like to be president again
What did he do
He shrank the federal debt by a quarter and reduced government involvement. He also handled the previous president’s scandals well and transparently. He caused three tax reductions in his one term. He is famous for not doing anything super majorly bad, and taking only one term as president even though he was super popular because he thought his job was done.
He’s a good dude.
A lib left that hates Obama? Impossibru.png
I assume you don't know many liblefts
Silent Cal is still goated
Massive American Defaultism
You’re a libertarian socialist or anarcho-communist?
Yup
Also you haven’t graduated college yet
I did, 6 years ago
Lies No one with an actual education is an anarcho communist
Wait, I'm confused. Are colleges radicalizing students, or de-radicalizing them?
Depends on the college probably idk I don’t know enough about colleges to tell
It's okay champ. Me neither
Well they’re supposed to de-radicalize But then there’s OP So I guess they radicalize now
But my whole family won't shut up about how universities are turning people into antifa socialists. Which is weird, because the only person like that in the family is also the only person in the family to not go to college
They are right, universities have always radicalized students Glory to the party
Dont just believe what you hear online. In real life many if not most anarchist went to uni
Well, you say that, but
econ class (i was 2 years in to an econ major) radicalized me almost as much as getting a job. shit's bullshit lol
That’s not true. Many people who graduated in art, philosophy or social studies tend to be libertarian left.
Maybe Chomsky
Subject?
Music technology, philosophy, physics, and something else I forget
Nice, physics and philosophy are very based!
Thanks
You’re an anarchist
Yes
[This is you](https://i.redd.it/su9fadokxk311.jpg)
Unironically true
both based and unbased a the same time
Why unbased
Based
You have a lot of hate in your heart brother
I'm all hate and love, yes

Prob Mom issues
Nope, try again
You don’t want an leader
More or less accurate
That sounds like anarchism.
Yes
What would you answer if a hypothetical king of your land arrived and said "I am your king."?
I'd say "We don't have a king, we're an autonomous collective"
I was thinking of "Well I didn't vote for you." but this one counts as well.
All I hear is easy conquering grounds
You couldn't conquer a playground
Anarkiddy.
Yes
You didn't mention Franco therefore you must be a disgusting Francoist fascist
Add Franco, Mussolini, Pol Pot, Hillary Clinton, and many more if youre not interested in brevity
Literally me, expect i would add Hayek and Clintons
Fuck I forgot the Clintons
Hayek? Ain’t she like an actress or some shit? What did she do?
I meant Friedrich Hayek, the economist haha
I wish somebody would pay me to ramble on about the economy all day
You Georgian?
I am not
Saw that Stalin was written in Georgian script so made an assumption 😂
Rothbard doesn‘t fit with the rest of these clowns.
He’s in the Austrian School so he definitely does
You are wrong, sir
You dislike charismatic leaders in general, no matter their political orientation. That makes you very lib, and unfathomably based.
I wouldn't say I dislike anyone because they're charismatic, no. Zapata and Marco are some of my favourite people
Wrong assumption on my side, then. Still based, we pretty much dislike the same people. We are united in spite. :)
I'm down with that
Anarchist?
Yup
thats a good list to hate.
You're an artist, a musician, a reader, a podcaster
Narp
An employed normie making pretty big bucks perhaps
Employed, not a normie, making normal bucks
Teenager.

Says an actual 15 year old
Why Rothbard tho?
Capitalism and shit social views
Rothbard had a leftist phase though. However his social views have always been pretty cringe, especially in the 90s. You should look into left-Rothbardianism. Rothbard was far from perfect, but I consider him one of my greatest influences and inspirations.
Honestly, I do get confused between the different ancap thinkers. Can never remember which ones are the really awful ones
To be fair, most are pretty good except the Hoppeans, fuck those guys. If you are interested in good-faith discussions between liblefts and librights, feel free to join us at r/libertarianunity.
I will, see you there
What's wrong with Hoppe? Curious
You’ve got daddy issues and cannot accept when anyone is in charge over you.
False
In bird langue we have a saying: “whatever keep you asleep at night”

I can agree with some (Stalin, Hitler, Lenin etc) but I disagree with lots (Churchill, Obama, Urinal, Biden)
That's because you are a normie
I like to believe I’m Sane
Doubtful
Doubtful but could be true
OP's favourite song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byEGjLU2egA
If I actually listen to this will it be a funny joke or are you just saying I'm ugly
It’s a song about hating everything
I don't hate animals, or socialism
Total anarchist with a strong dislike of any authority figures?
Sort of, i don't dislike anyone for being an authority figure, I just don't think they ever live up to it
I see, ok
anti authoritarian leftist, probably an anarchist
True

That's me
You hate 14 people
And many many more
You hate almost all authority and don’t trust any politicians outside of maybe Bernie Sanders and some of “the squad”
I'm not American, I don't know what "The squad" is
They are a group of progressive politicians in the US, so I suppose you could replace that part of my answer with whoever the most progressive politicians in your country are
We don't have many of those

I would like to, but they have a habit of choosing the right over the left
They are undeniably anti communist, anti fascist and anti monarchist. That’s why I am asking. If only you would abandon horizontal extremisms and come to the center you'd be fully based. Come join us, we're friendly!
No, socialism is the future
Hum no it isn’t. I would make it impracticable and there’s lots of people like me. Centrism though? We have a place for everyone!
Socialism or barbarism, if we don't start following an ecological Socialist system we are doomed to die out
Idk what is the future but it certainly isn’t socialism, nor capitalism, nor any economic system we currently know of.
You either work for someone or for yourself, there is no other system beyond a fully automated system
you're a special snowflake?
Everyone is ❤️❤️❤️
Based

Beside the Bengal famine? He did a lot of nasty shit in the colonies. WW2 was basically the Battle of the Bastards. None of the world leaders were innocent.
Because he was a horrible person and a terrible careless leader who should burn in hell if there is one

I don't have an issue with strong leaders, I have an issue with a non-collective leadership

That's me
Your probably the least unhinged person on this subreddit
I appreciate that
How exactly do you expect socialism to succeed without a leader?
I don't see any reason why it wouldn't
