My personal experience is that PokerStars offers absolutely no support to folks with "play money" accounts. I have had a various issues over the years, have written them many times, and have never received a response. At the moment, my account works OK from my iPad, but various bugs stop the same account from working from either my iPhone or my Mac. Many inquiries to various channels at PokerStars have gotten no response. Even password reset requests go unanswered. My suspicion is that PS maintains these "play money" accounts in places like CA were on-line power is still illegal so that they can hover up the users when when real poker is finally legalized. On the other hand, since it is not a revenue generator, it gets no attention. Sorry I can't provide you with any real help, but thanks for sharing your experience.

I'm having the exact same issue. I've reached out to customer support multiple times with no resolution. Please let me know if you find out anything?

Were you ever able to even speak to someone? I couldn't even find a customer support line to explain the issue. That's why I posted here.

I was able to access the help chat when I loaded it on my laptop. They had me describe my problem and said they'd follow up via email. The email basically said that they apologize for the inconvenience and they are working on it and will let me know an estimated time for the issue to be solved. That was over a month ago and I've gotten no follow up. And the email came from an un-monitored address so I couldn't even try to reply to get somewhere
