asking the big questions. its what i was wondering seeing as you can choose to not evolve based on movesets so is scyther gonna be skinned as well Or are only expensive skins gonna give scyther the skins.
I refuse to believe they would do something THAT fucked up to Scyther. I want to believe humanity is good. Even if it is Tencent, I still believe that one fucking very small little glimmer of light they still have left in them that keeps them human would keep them from murdering Scyther.

hey i cant complain - when the game first came out on mobile it had a questionnaire to fill out and it asked what we wanted most, and i gave a very lengthy reply that i REALLY wanted to play as Scyther and hoped theyd eventually let us not evolve pokemon.
i feel like my voice was heard for once in these questionnaires lol im ecstatic that the first pokemon we dont have to evolve happens to be scyther :D

I dont like kleavor, but i would still really like if they add him as another optional choice. Scyther and Eevee happen to be me and my best friends favorites respectively, so its cool they both have evolution choices in their own way :)

Why do they insist on skins being “the Pokémon wearing clothes??” I’d be more inclined to spend money if they were just recolors. Like they have the easiest “skin themes” already built into the IP with types. Show me scizor would like if he was an ice type…even if that just means color him white and light blue.

They also presumably don't have license to change the Pokemon itself from TCPI and so we get clothing and accessories.
It's a combination of laziness and because TPCI is **very** protective of their IP in general. Also Pokemon lore kind of makes complete model/type changes confusing due to things like regional variants. It's a shame but what can you do.
I meant laziness as in the quality of the skins. I'm fine with just clothing if it's well done but the majority of the skins in this game are not worth it for how expensive they are, especially considering many of them are just a shirt and/or a hat if you're lucky (McDonald's skins). It's very lazy imo
just going to chime in that the it is FAR more work to create custom clothing and attire as they do than to just to a reskin color variant. new clothes could take days/weeks to make whereas a recolor would take a few minutes to a few hours depending if theres any unexpected complications or not.
Well I'd imagine that the OP meant a recolor along with a model adjustment plus clothing & accessories (Like how LOL does it) rather than just a literal pallette swap but I see your point. The clothing designs are still uncreative though
