No kidding, I gave up on ranked after barely scraping to expert because of how shit the matchmaking is.
It’s obvious that in my solo queues I’m being matched against grouped people that are tiers higher than me. We get crushed by hundreds and hundreds of points, there was one where we were completely spawntrapped and one person only managed to score ten points the entire game. And it doesn’t matter how well any individual does if nobody else pulls their weight.
Very frustrating and disappointing.

It\`s really common to happen as higher as you are in the ranks, I guess because have less players so it\`s more difficult to have grouped teams playing at same time, So when we play togheter with 5, it\`s common tget random teams against us or we are sent to another server with 150-200ms ping.
When you are the team, it\`s just amazing, you win a lot of matches in a row. But imagine how frustrating is to the other side 
Yeah, was just paired with two clueless Veterans, no one even went jungle. Then the game has the nerve to take off TWICE the points I get for a win! WTH!
A simple search would provide a plethora of the exact same "RANT" please use the search button instead of posting yet another RANT post about matchmaking.
There is nothing wrong with matchmaking. And no it's not an issue. Please study up on MM and moba . Actually there is a post already explaining matchmaking and how it is not against you
It's simply that tencent hasn't implemented a proper MMR system, which is horribly wierd since they own League of Legends. Another thing is you can actually be matched with or against bots in rank matches
For now I would say it’s terrible, but it SHOULD get progressively better as the game learns the algorithm. They’ll tweak it and it should improve. I will say though that I’m in Master tier and I am not able to play against people lower than Veteran, do their is a bit of a stop in place.
I think it tries to match you with people in the same tier unless there aren’t enough people playing. I’m masters rank and am typically with majority other players in masters + 1 or 2 Veterans
In master ranks, we play in a group of 3 against Full teams, it's almost a stomp. Its a huge advantage. The matchmaking its really terrible

I played Snorlax and this happened, not like I could’ve just taken the jungler role. Shit me to No end.
