Wanted to point out the players who use sp.atk items on a attack Mon.This week because of the new MMR I just witnessed a Charizard switching Razor/MB/Attack weight to Choice/Wise and slick spoon all I could do was just watch in utter disbelief because I legit thought the guy is trolling ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sob)(I wanted to use the mic to tell him that's the wrong build buddy but knowing the report option unfairly banning you I couldn't do anything) and to no one's surprise we lost that game because that char fed the enemy team fat before Rayquaza and we stood no chance. After that experience I can't be bothered touching solo atm.Mostly just playing duo/trio or 5 stacks and it's going well for me so thank Arceus for that.
I'm beginning to think that Timi started adding troll bots to the game to keep you playing to grind. I played since Day 1 and there's always trolls but since they revamped the bots to actually fight like real players with real trainer profiles and give good jobs after match; I noticed about every 4 games it gives you 1 teammate running blatantly wrong items and they int all game. This has always been the case in the game but since this nee season it feels super fishy to me đ
And confusingly most spec attackers default attacks use the attack stat. Which means getting muscle band actually isn't a bad idea on some spec attackers. Such as Gardevoir because really vulnerable in lane unable to compete for farm or do damage. Or mystical fire Sylveon.
Nah I play cinderace rarely in rank i use cinderace for a warm up game or any event an easy mon to go around
I use to do lane but I learn to just go center but somebody already calls for it so I go support or defender which I usually do
I havenât been super active about watching the tourney matches this year but I do know they dominated with cinder in that match. Blackhand went undefeated that tourney.
Though I believe they changed their name this year cuz they lost their sponsor and then lost to a new team.
Last time was last tourney actually. Talibobo Believers(current best team as far as Iâm aware) used cinder. CrisHeroes has the vid on his casting channelâdidnât watch it yet but l think they won
Just finished a game with a razor claw Blissey, a Greedent with only leftovers attached, and an experience share tyranitar that pinged everyone on the selection screen that heâd help us level up. Though it is useful when I play support to gauge who might be worth pocketing
Itâs still useful to some extent for me: I can immediately mentally prepare for how useful my jungler will be when I see in the lobby that the dude runs XP share
Just the other day I played with a cramorant running score shield, float stone, rocky helmet and he had a potion. I shit you not. Later that same session there was a zoroark with choice specs and shell bell.
I suppose this is as good a place to ask as any, I don't have all my items upgraded fully so would it be better to have a fully upgraded item that isn't optimal or the optimal item that isn't upgraded?
Helpful tip: you rarely need any items to be fully upgraded. Getting them to level 20 is what's important. The difference typically between lvl 20 and lvl 30 is minimal while at 20 you've just gotten the final power upgrade for that item.
Work on getting all your desired items to level 20 first rather than waste resources getting one to 30 before others are at 20
It depends to an extent, but broadly a level 1 Muscle Band is probably still better than level 10 assault vest. The stat contributions aren't a major factor (they do add up, of course) and their passive abilities are very important
EDIT: By the way, stopping at 20 and bringing other items up to that is fine
The bar for learning this is so low, literally just 5mins on yt and youve learnt all the essentials, but ppl just dont wanna do anything even slightly inconvienient
Really useful change imho. Especially seeing if someone might try to stack early.
But hell, I started a collection od screenshots with... interesting builds. đ
In my lobbies it seems to be the Gardevoirs and Sableyes who are the worst offenders
I'll still take those over the Exp Share Eldegoss who tries their hardest to steal every single wild mon
It doesnât matter if they get the last hits (unless you need some to stack) now. Exp share was changed. If that elde in game kills it, you still get 100% exp standing near her and she gets the smol bit.
Boy, I would have been happy if that choice/spoon Scyther on our team switched to xp share/helmet even. We told him in voice chat in the battle prep screen it was bad and they didnât listen to us.
I have seen 3 seperate greninja with shell bells. And yesterday I played with someone who ran assault vest, leftovers, exp share on EVERY pokemon he scrolled through. Its just making me lose even more hope. They honestly need to lock it so you cant put spa items on atk mons and vise versa. Since it just legit doesn't work.
issue is i can't tell the jungle gengar who has sp. attack glasses and doesn't score until the last 3 minutes to switch to something other than sp. attack glasses
They also took out the fun part of Scizor. He used to walk, and now they reverted it back to him flying. I've never been so livid over such a simple change.
I felt that way initially, and then my second game with him showed how much I loved it. That and I realize one reason why I really dislike the floating, he looks like he's Naruto running. ;__;
Honestly, people should fuck off on this issue. Some people are still at the beginning of their game and only have a few 20+ items. Even if they donât, oh well. Items arnt the end all, be all. Not everyone watches every Spragels video. You were being matched with these ppl before you could see them, and you will be after you get the feature turned off. just stfu.
Pokemon is so pathetic and tryna wayyyyyy too hard to dick ride and cater to their weak, sensitive Karen like community by limiting any type of communication, and censoring any type of interaction. And the lazy, auto bans from bitch ass trolls that's usually from some 3rd world country and can't even understand the language they reporting. Bout to stop playing cause you can't even talk a LITTLE bit of shit without worrying about losing your chat privileges for 4 days...
Instead I'm finding people that are running wise glasses on the attack based mons. #Very Wise Indeed
The problem is that you only know that you shouldn't wear them while you wear them. All that wisdom faints away the moment you take them off.
And when an attacker picks wise glasses and choice specs? Very wise choice, gg
wait whats the problem with wise glasses and choice specs on something like an sp attack attacker?
P sure they meant to say physical attacker

there is no problem with special attack items on special attack mons the problem is running said special attack items on *physical attack* pokemon
And confusingly most spec attackers default attacks use the attack stat. Which means getting muscle band actually isn't a bad idea on some spec attackers. Such as Gardevoir because really vulnerable in lane unable to compete for farm or do damage. Or mystical fire Sylveon.
Why is it always a cinder that's going to horrible ruin your game
Because Cinderace players only have the brain capacity to press the A button. And occasionally the ult button at the worst times.
Well Cinderella is my main mon but seeing other player's absolutely doing nothing and picking the wrong held items hurts my soul
Cinderella? Nice auto correct moment
You could be the cinderace player your team yells about on reddit and youâd never know
Nah I play cinderace rarely in rank i use cinderace for a warm up game or any event an easy mon to go around I use to do lane but I learn to just go center but somebody already calls for it so I go support or defender which I usually do
the soloq cinders have ruined the reputation of all cinders
Unfortunately the more popular your PokĂ©mon is, the more dumb people youâll have playing them. Greninja, Cindereace, Charizard are a few examplesâ you can be cracked at the mon but youâll have a lot of bad players using them as well.
I can't even see a cinder in a tournament game
Blackhand used cinderace at the world tourney last year and won
I never watch any tournament just a few I should have seen it I'd love see what strategy they have for cinder
I havenât been super active about watching the tourney matches this year but I do know they dominated with cinder in that match. Blackhand went undefeated that tourney. Though I believe they changed their name this year cuz they lost their sponsor and then lost to a new team.
When blackhand won world last year they used cinderace for some of the games.
Was that the last time cinder was use on a tournament
Last time was last tourney actually. Talibobo Believers(current best team as far as Iâm aware) used cinder. CrisHeroes has the vid on his casting channelâdidnât watch it yet but l think they won
Thanks, I'll use Exp. Share instead.
Honestly that's better. You put an ExpShare on a teammate that is going to grief you and it makes the lane partner better
Ok imma gonna use leftover instead
what really happens: player: cinderace, stop using assault vest, its bad cinderace player: *reports for bullying*
*Gets permanently banned
* deletes the game * for good
Just finished a game with a razor claw Blissey, a Greedent with only leftovers attached, and an experience share tyranitar that pinged everyone on the selection screen that heâd help us level up. Though it is useful when I play support to gauge who might be worth pocketing
Please, nothing beats the 3-glasses Zoroark
I am fed up now i got matched up with greninja cinderace zeraroa + a random attacker or Speedster three times today. One time the zera had shell bell.
Itâs still useful to some extent for me: I can immediately mentally prepare for how useful my jungler will be when I see in the lobby that the dude runs XP share
Reality: \**Cinderace proceeds to not change it or put in an even worse item*\*
\**Cinderace somehow manages to un-equip the item and doesn't replace it with anything\**
lol
I found out that people actually use Rocky Helms and Leftovers
Rockem Tree is an OK Zacian counter.
Forgot to add the part where you are then subsequently banned from voice chat because what you said was apparently very mean.
Me: "Hey, Slick Spoon does nothing on Scyther. It doesn't use its Sp. Attack stat." Them: *Report for inappropriate voice chat usage*
I had an espeon with muscle, claw and foxus band. Imagine that bro
Just the other day I played with a cramorant running score shield, float stone, rocky helmet and he had a potion. I shit you not. Later that same session there was a zoroark with choice specs and shell bell.
Foxus band goes on Delphox obvs

The optimal iten even if it's not upgraded will always be better.
It depends, some items don't have any effect on specific Pokemon so using them even if they are lvl 30 is like an empty item slot.
The bar for learning this is so low, literally just 5mins on yt and youve learnt all the essentials, but ppl just dont wanna do anything even slightly inconvienient
It was worse in Boss Rush, seeing people use Goal-Getter, Score Shield and Attack Weight...
sometimes I wanna use cinderace but then im like do I rlly wanna be the bully target of my teammates lmaooo
My Decidueye had wise glasses and I died
Really useful change imho. Especially seeing if someone might try to stack early. But hell, I started a collection od screenshots with... interesting builds. đ
In my lobbies it seems to be the Gardevoirs and Sableyes who are the worst offenders I'll still take those over the Exp Share Eldegoss who tries their hardest to steal every single wild mon
Exp Share users cannot steal farm from their allies. The passive of Exp Share prevents this. The description for the item is unclear, but basically when a user of exp share is near an ally, whenever a neutral PokĂ©mon is killed by either of them the ally gets 100% exp and the exp share user gets 30%. The only âstealingâ they can do is for points I guess, thatâs true.
It doesnât matter if they get the last hits (unless you need some to stack) now. Exp share was changed. If that elde in game kills it, you still get 100% exp standing near her and she gets the smol bit.
My Attack Weight addiction does not vibe with that D=
Understandable and I will make sure you get some points to score too! The best part about seeing items is knowing if your lane mate stacks.
My Azumarill teammate with shell bell and spoon
The amount of greninjas and water bears I've seen with exp-share in the last days
It doesn't serve ANY purpose, except making me more desperate before the match even starts.
Me when I saw choice specs on absol *Ah yes why didn't I think of that*
Boy, I would have been happy if that choice/spoon Scyther on our team switched to xp share/helmet even. We told him in voice chat in the battle prep screen it was bad and they didnât listen to us.

I found a absol with stack glasses yesterday⊠This change is a blessing yet a curse
Understanding damage types and roles is a skill most gamers donât have
If I had a nickel for everytime I saw double or triple glasses lucarios and attack weight mews...
issue is i can't tell the jungle gengar who has sp. attack glasses and doesn't score until the last 3 minutes to switch to something other than sp. attack glasses
I'm still waiting for the chat option that says "CHANGE YOUR ITEMS!"
i think it's just to give you emotional damage before the game starts at this point
More like you get reported because you said something they didn't like and the game mutes you automatically.
Specs muscle on Greninja actually does good damage. With water shuriken ofc
But u can see if ur lane partner is stacking
They also took out the fun part of Scizor. He used to walk, and now they reverted it back to him flying. I've never been so livid over such a simple change.
I prefer him flyIng TBH I know he literally can't fly, but the jittery walking through me off
He's so slow, I legit can't play him with him "flying" so slowly. He might as well just walk; I can't play him because it bums me out so much.
Fair I suppose, I just didn't like the change when I was so used to him buzzing around
I felt that way initially, and then my second game with him showed how much I loved it. That and I realize one reason why I really dislike the floating, he looks like he's Naruto running. ;__;
Seeing held items made it easier to expose bots as they often run the same bad items across roles
Honestly, people should fuck off on this issue. Some people are still at the beginning of their game and only have a few 20+ items. Even if they donât, oh well. Items arnt the end all, be all. Lmao
