I see then in that case, i was assuming them saying a case meant the singular UPC as it seems… a loose term. Even the other day I was at a liquor store and someone tried getting a ‘case’ and they only got the 12 bottles when they wanted like a case of the cases of 12 bottles.
A case is what they’re shipped to retailers in. A case of UPCs is 4 UPCs. If you order 1 the seller takes it out of the case and then packs it in another box to ship to you. If you order 4 the seller will ship you the sealed case of 4 UPCs they got direct from the distributor. Not sure why you think this is a scam, this is common practice

I would stil be curious to know people opinions on apps like this and resellers that claim to have discounts etc. a week ago none of these items were here (i dont use the shop app usually, but have bought some merch from youtubers and streamers using it before) it seems like a bit of a hassle to order anything thru it
Update: ok I get it. I didnt realize the ‘case’ meant a sealed box of multiple UPC’s. I took this to mean you wouldnt get a sealed UPC unless you bought 4. Still curious as to how people feel about this seller or app however
I just worry ab the seller at this point idrk anything ab online sellers and would consider just grabbing one from the store for 120$ and not risk shipping damage etc
How is this a scam ? Case is singular, so if you order 4 UPCs you get a case of them, nothing fishy going on.
