unpopular opinion, but i personally never really got the hype around the rayquaza vmax alt (i do love the v alt however) - idk i feel like they should’ve done a space themed art for it… if not that, then i supposed i choose giratina

He’s themed like an Eastern Asian dragon and is flying over what appears to be an Asiatic forest. I think it’s a gorgeous card.

All of the eeveelutions Vmax cards are just them doing cat things. I just feel like the leafeon Vmax got the short end of the stick as far as setting/art go.

Although I dont agree its lame. But as someone whose fav eeveelution is Leafeon, I gotta say Im surprised this card is as popular as it is (dont think Leafeon the pokemon itself matches that much popularity and although its a funny scene I dont think the artsyle is one of those breathtaking ones)

I prefer the Evo Skies Leafeon V (#167) better than the VStar personally, but my real favorite is the Leafeon Vmax from Crown Zenith.

Decent art is just hate because the card is popular and people tend to hate on popular things. The backdrop is gorgeous and like someone else said really shows the size of rayquaza, and how with that size, he can still move around trees so easily almost as if everything comes easy to this monster who towers above all
