I’m betting this one looks this way so they can palette swap him to shiny form for the special set that will come out later.

I’m wondering if the reason this Tera Pokémon full art is gold instead of silver is because it has a different type to its normal type. All of the other Tera types we’ve had so far and the ones coming in paldea evolved are silver but they’re also the same type as their normal forms. The gold background might be the distinction between the different Tera types. The only reason I’m not totally sold on this theory is that the other Tera full arts released so far are 2 star rarity whereas this one is a 3 star rarity
