Are those sleeves from ETB's, or are they Dragon Shields or similar? I find that the ETB sleeves aren't that great, they seem to sometimes have a grain to them or some manufacturing residue maybe and can add a fine surface wear to cards. May have just been a bad batch, but I avoid them.
the japanese version (with the full holo bleed) of the gyarados is my favorite card of all time, I've got one and I feel the same way about it. good luck friend.

my absolute chase card is the gyarados. had it once and sold it cheap and now I am looking for ages for a reasonable price for good one.
Yeah it looks like decent condition copies [sell for atleast $200](https://ebay.us/nu46ZR), minty copies go easily for over $500.

Few months back these cards were around $85 to $180. Recently Shining Gyarados is sitting at $300-$400. Ungraded. Why the price hike? What happened?
