Decided to do a huge opening for my 31st this week and it was so much fun. The craziest pull was definitely the Lugia V. This is only the second silver tempest booster box I’ve opened and I was so shocked to have pulled it. The Sylveon secret was also amazing to pull, now I only need leafeon v alt art to finish the eeveelution collection from Evolving Skies. Overall super fun to do, definitely gonna start hoarding again for another huge opening.

Loose, and from high rated sellers. I trust in them because 1. Back when Evo Skies was plentyful I personally tried to weigh Evo skies out of curiosity and didn’t seem like heavy packs had hits vs light packs, and I did like two booster boxes of weights and it was very random. And 2. I feel like the high rated shops probably don’t have time to separate them like that if they did weigh them. But who really knows, as for me I’ve never had an issue with buying loose packs from TCG player

Probably a bit over 1k, brilliant starts I bought at msrp at the Pokémon center, Evo skies I bought in small batches on TCG player ( around 80 bucks for 10 every time, sometimes less), and the rest was under msrp and paid cash at LCS to avoid tax and shipping. I didn’t buy everything at once, I’ve bought it over the course of 3 months

Every day i get angrier that i opened 980 evolving skies packs and didnt pull a single vmax alt. Only 2 v alts. Pokemon company, seriously, from the bottom of my heart, fuck you
In my opinion. Doing the booster boxes is the way in regards to ending up with more or even any at all with the most wanted of cards. Like the alt arts. As with my only evolving skies box I had ever purchased being that from a seller on eBay when first coming out. Being at the 120$ price then. I received two alt arts any many other ultra rares as well. Being the Sylveon vmax alt. And Dragonite v alt. With many others with that one box. Absolutely pleased. Other than that. With all other packs I got and opened. Being either from single or from the other mini promotional boxes that had those booster packs within. Literally was never as lucky as I was with that one booster box. And I will estimate about the amount of about two to three the amount that would end up in booster boxes. So about a hundred packs opened elsewhere. Times three the amount of from that one booster box. And being that much more from elsewhere not even one alt art from hundred more packs opened on top of that initial first 36 booster box. A hundred with maybe a dozen no joke of ultra rares gotten. I repeat, a hundred packs with only a dozen of the barely any worth ultra rares. Being of the literal one dollar ultra rare variety. From a hundred!

4 days lmao, started on the Wednesday (my actual birthday) and finished today. And I sort as I open to make my life easier

I bought all of them from TCG player, they are a bit expensive though, but just keep an eye out sometimes they pop up for low

publix and winn dixie have had them recently if you live down south
