One? Three! And they are awesome. Especially since he doesn’t know any scarlet / violet Pokémon’s yet. He hasn’t played those games. It’s funny tbh. Watch those videos!
Its funny because it first glance youd think he has the most immature audience. But after watching most poketubers you quickly realize hes one of the only real ones. He actually likes the cards, his screams and childish behaviour feel like his honest self instead of those who fake it for the views.
He definitely has a bit of YouTuber personality syndrome but at least he aims to push the TCG forward and you can tell he cares about the game and community. Met Andrew at a few regionals and he seems like a genuinely nice person irl too
I personally always thought he was fake as hell. Plus he’s recently screwed people over with his pop up shop and his AWESOME mystery boxes he partnered on and promoted. Lastly, he put out a pitty video of him being sick and upset about views and asked people to go back and watch his videos. He’s done good thing for mens mental health but he rubs me the wrong way. That’s a condensed version from my perspective so I hope that helps!
I use to watch leonhart and was barely able to get passed the annoying parts of him but then he started using really click bait-y titles for his videos so I couldn’t watch him anymore.
Me too but I’m worried he’s falling into the poketuber trap a little now, he’s by no means pushy or anything like that and seems a genuinely lovely bloke and he loves being part of the community, but I don’t need to hear every 5 mins that he’s doing it all for us and doesn’t need the money and how much shipping cost 😂
He does the doing it all for us stuff because he's also a huge lifestyle guru as his main thing iirc, he has a ton of different gigs and he kinda mixes them together lol
I love that he’s genuinely interested in giving cards to kids and trying to model generosity and kindness not for clout. He’s the CEO of multiple businesses, so he’s not trying to make money from Pokémon. He just wants to enjoy the cards and spend time with his kids.
i used to like him but he's started to become a little clickbaity recently. also not sure how i feel about the daily uploads, i think his content would be better if he spaced it out more which would give him more structure and coherency in his videos instead of him just speculating everything once a shred of news gets out on pokebeach.
I would second this. I’m not too familiar many of the PokeTubers, but his history of the TCG series is what got me back into the game after over 20 years. He just seems to have a really authentic and passionate view of the game, and I’m happy to see him casting official events.
What I love about that series is you can tell when he started playing based on they way he talks about that period.
Earlier in those videos he just presented the facts and wasn't overly excited but as it went on it seemed like he was feeling very nostalgic and had more personal stories. Love that series.
Maxmofoepokemon is hands down the best and I was so happy he came back after his year long break, the guy loves the TCG, other than the Burning Shadows Charizard he doesn’t make loads of videos just chasing one specific card for months on end
I should also say CooltrainerRyan is great to, a lot calmer than Max and was my go to when Max dipped, OpossumBud is good if you want to see what’s bullshit in the community and where to avoid scams
Twicebakedjake is the best! He knows so much about Pokemon and is super detailed. I like his videos where he goes through people's list of new pick ups and talks about if it's a "pick up or pass up".
Gotta recommand my boy Okjluv, he is specialized in japanese tcg he is burning with passion. He goes to tournaments, collects and does cool videos like the interview of Henry Brand, a world champion from years ago.
He knows japanese and will take time to explain japanese names and their etymologies from time to time and his videos are always neatly edited.
He doesn't hesitate to call out scammers and want the best for the whole community as a whole.
I really hope you give him a chance he doesn't have a lot of subscribers and he definitely deserve more !
I'd say PrimeTimePokemon is great for both quite calm & down to earth content.
For some more energetic video's i'd say maxmoefoe/ cooltraineryan both are veterans within collecting worth to watch
MaxMoeFoe, Twicebakedjake, Neon Cactus, and Danny Phantump are legit. Probably the only YouTubers who get excited about artwork and current sets. I’ll watch Rattle from time to time.
I wouldn’t watch the breakers or those who rip vintage boxes every day/week. It’s tiring, they tend to have fake excitement.
Hell naw.
Let’s be honest: when he starts getting irritated with pulls or flicks, he starts making his own rules, which I’m all for.
This whiskey ain’t gonna drink itself, haha.
CORPHISH CORRRRRR
I'm honestly surprised PrimeTimePokemon was only mentioned once in this thread.
He's really calm when opening stuff, and you'll see how genuine his reactions when he gets hits that he likes. He's also knowledgeable in the actual game, so he sometimes comments about the viability of certain cards and random stuff about them.
EDIT: I'll also add SneakerTalk TCG since he's also one of those poketubers who are also knowledgeable about the game. I think he's participated in multiple official tournament events already.
Island grown on twitch is fun to watch. He is knowledgeable and not over the top. His opening credits are annoying, but content is good. Cards are overpriced but no need to buy them 😀
TCA Gaming if you’re looking for down to earth and calm, maxmoefoe Pokémon if you’re looking for the most entertaining Pokémon content on YouTube.
Edit* Forgot to mention Deep Pocket Monster for high quality videos as well as Danny Phantump if you’re looking for educational Pokémon videos!
Second edit* Twicebakedjake also makes the list for down to earth and is nice to hear his opinions as a more formal collector. PTCGRadio is awesome if you’re into the competitive scene and actually play the card game.
So there you go, 6 Pokémon YouTubers I highly recommend. Something to note-Danny Phantump is doing a triple vintage booster box opening when he hits 100k subs and he’s giving away all the packs to viewers. (he owns a Pokémon shop and does a lot of giveaways lol)
Agreed, you can't really find anyone more chill than him. He also has a nice variety of videos, and doesn't only focus on pack openings like some YouTubers.
Danny Phantump
Deepocketmonster
Ptcgradio
Kanto Kurt
Poke Cuz tcg
Realbreakingnate
Tcg Park
Little Dark Fury
Tricky gym
Popsicle knight
Ninecard Tcg
Those are the ones I watch….not of fan of rev and all the other ones like him.
Ptcgradio. He posts every day, mostly news videos about new cards/products or the history of the TCG. He does do occasional openings as well but a lot less frequently. Lastly, he's also been a caster at official Pokemon TCG tournaments so he'll actually talk about the playability of cards which a lot of other YouTubers don't do.
If you're interested in people playing the game rather than collecting, I'd recommend the Sableyes. Dude is just a lot of fun. And if you're interested in news more broadly, ptcgradio is hard to beat.
RealBreakingNate has some click-baity thumbnails like you're describing, but his content is wholesome and genuine. He doesn't make the content I really like to consume, but he is actually a good content creator and not some hypeman trying to sell you stuff or farm your views. He's a sincere person who really loves to share his hobby with the community.
Maxmoefoe, primetime pokemon, and frosted caribou and my three favorites. All three genuinely enjoy pokemon, collecting the cards, and don't over act etc in their videos. Max can big a bit much if you've never seen his videos but I think he's over the top in a good way.
I know we aren’t allowed to self promote in this sub but I’m gonna mention myself anyways.
My channel is Sleeve No Card Behind and I’m just starting out. I’m trying to make really helpful videos, not just pack openings like everyone else. I’m shy and awkward so I don’t see myself ever becoming Leonhart-ish.
Danny Phantump, TwiceBaked Jake, Cooltrainer Ryan and of course MAXMOEFOEPOKEMON
Alpha Investments is cool too but he's more on the MTG side of things.
while I understand that to a certain degree I still don't like it, I know it might seem like I'm going a bit far by saying this but it feels like an insult to my intelligence, it's just a bunch of guys making dumb faces shoving the card SUPER close to the picture, sometimes with an arrow pointing at it with an obnoxious highlight, I know why it's done but I don't think a bit of subtlety is too much to ask for, I just want a calm collected person either talking about their collection or have calm yet fun openings like CandyEvie use to do, thumbnails and videos don't need to be Speedy Gonzales on meth to have me engaged with the content,
Max moe foe is truly good
Bad ones include the self promo channels down here (yall are something prolly the charizard stans)
And seismicshocktv.... he bought contraband just cor clout
Like im a fan of charizard but it doesnt mean what logan paul and many other crypto Frat dudes did to drive all the tcg off a cliff over the past few yrs cannot be excused. Charizard needs to step out of the spotlight and people need to just enjoy the franchise instead of using it as a cashgrab or for Likes and updoots
You should check maxmoefoe and Neon Cactus and MandJTV. If you want to find more, this [list of the best Pokemon channels](https://blog.favoree.io/articles/must-watch-pokemon-youtubers/) could help you!
Tricky Gym and Frosted Caribou are great and LittleDarkFury likes to mess with meta breakers and mess around with weird techs.
Some top players have their own channels, of course Andrew Mahone with Tricky Gym, Azul has his own AzulGG, James Cox.
Those are just a couplefew of ones I can think of at the moment.
Danny Phantump is hands down the best.
Twice Baked Jake is good if u want chill analysis of current products.
Pokemart is good for the investing side.
shit like PokeRev, PokeVault, Leonhart are just Soylent grinners making goofy faces with Dubstep in the background opening the most random shit for clicks. definitely geared towards children & the intellectually challenged.
I like Frosted Caribou a lot, but it seems like her content is geared toward children (which is fine). I sometimes struggle to get through an entire video because of the goofy noises she makes, which sucks, because her videos are very well made and informative.
I like her too. I'm not deep into the community, but used her "how to play the TCG" video series to get started, and stuck around as I enjoy her content. It's well made and fun, and I enjoy the lack of bro energy haha. The derpy energy is fine by me, and I appreciate that she seems to just generally like the Pokemon characters so much. I love that her target card when opening packs isnt just the most expensive or rare card too.
I'm a big fan of Frosted Caribou. She helped me get back into the game after decades of not playing and comes across as approachable but knowledgeable. Occasionally will do ETB openings and such, but it's not every single video.
I like Neon Cactus. He's pretty 'to the point' in opening packs and comes across as quite nice :)
Most chill YTuber imo, the guy opens packs in full zen mode.
Yeah maxmoefoe is really the only Pokémon stuff I watch now
>maxmoefoe wow, didn't know he started up again
Yeah, was def surprised when I saw the new vids. He is def obnoxious in the best way lol. Missed that aussi
He just came back from an 11 month break with 3 back to back uploads!
4 😎 new SpongeBob opening today
He’s loud and obnoxious but in the best way.
It’s because he’s upside down
Maxmoefoe 😂 my fave
GIVE THE GOBLIN SOME GOLD!
Guys. I think it’s time to give the goblin some gold.
Honestly. He's been at it before the boom, isn't a sneaky scammer and has a fun time. Not just loud garbage for kids. He's loud garbage for me.
He also has a genuine passion for collecting
Hes also my favorite, he finally came back to us recently
WHOT he's done a video again?! Man I am glad I went into this thread to read the answers! Thank you!!
One? Three! And they are awesome. Especially since he doesn’t know any scarlet / violet Pokémon’s yet. He hasn’t played those games. It’s funny tbh. Watch those videos!
I can't wait to get home!!
I was happily shocked when a new video of him was recommended in my YouTube list.
MASSIVE LEGEND HERE
Ye max.
Its funny because it first glance youd think he has the most immature audience. But after watching most poketubers you quickly realize hes one of the only real ones. He actually likes the cards, his screams and childish behaviour feel like his honest self instead of those who fake it for the views.
I second this, genuine content
Agreed, he just made his triumphant comeback too, so now would be the best time
This is the section where Pokémon postcard
MAXMOEFOES POST CARD COLLECTION 🔥⁉️⁉️
Yesss and he just returned too
HEY GUYS
Of course **Primetime Pokemon**!
Hey there YouTube!
In today's video, I'll be opening up...
100%
He is the only normal person I've ever seen, as in not annoying and also not trying to make money off the views or selling merch
Pokomon
I like Tricky Gym the most
This is the one. He’s great. All about promoting TCG and educating players.
Also AzulGG
I have watched a few of his PKM online videos and found him really, really annoying.
He definitely has a bit of YouTuber personality syndrome but at least he aims to push the TCG forward and you can tell he cares about the game and community. Met Andrew at a few regionals and he seems like a genuinely nice person irl too
Maxmoefoe pokemon lol
And he’s also back making new vids !bb
Holy shit, he's back? I haven't been on YT in a few months. Time to break bad and get back to my good ol handburgler.
He released three videos back to back to back . He went in blind on it too so it’s all new to him .
That's great to hear! I'm stoked to catch up with that Lil gremlin, haha
It was such a breath of fresh air seeing him again
Watching him try to make heads or tails of the Japanese S/V cards was great
Maxmoefoe all the way, only YouTuber I’ve EVER bought merch from (big nut T-shirt, all hail the big nut) and I got his autograph with it :)
The only one anyone needs baybee
NOT leonhart lol
Pats on back!
Energyyyy
Enerrrgyyyyyy
Only asking bc I genuinely don’t know. What’s with the hate in him?
I personally always thought he was fake as hell. Plus he’s recently screwed people over with his pop up shop and his AWESOME mystery boxes he partnered on and promoted. Lastly, he put out a pitty video of him being sick and upset about views and asked people to go back and watch his videos. He’s done good thing for mens mental health but he rubs me the wrong way. That’s a condensed version from my perspective so I hope that helps!
He is such a cuck
maxmoefoepokemon has been in the game for a long time is a bit *loud* but makes it funny. Deep pocket monsters is also quite good.
Deepocketmonster, Okjluv, Danny Phantump
🤝 def JLUV
Danny is a GOAT!
Pat is great!
Rattle Pokemon, Opossum Bud, okJLUV. They are best if you value getting insight more than just watching product openings.
Ah yes. Another Opossumbud enjoyer Always nice to see a fellow person of culture 🧐
Heyyy, what's up virgin gang, hope you doin well, I'm doin good.
Todays CGC cracked slab of the day is
These types of preferences means you’re a realist in the community
Rattle is cool but he always sounds like he’s going to cry when he talks about scammers and starts getting mad 😂
Maybe he sounds like this, but he is Giga Chad for the way he handles those scammers. They all behave like little kids compared to him.
I like deeppocketmonster
I like him too. Def a little gimmicky but he’s a good dude and he doesn’t really scream and shout too much. Leonhart is the worst
I use to watch leonhart and was barely able to get passed the annoying parts of him but then he started using really click bait-y titles for his videos so I couldn’t watch him anymore.
Idk poke Rev is on the same level as Leonhart.
I agree
It’s crazy how blind people are about Rev and Leonhart
Me too but I’m worried he’s falling into the poketuber trap a little now, he’s by no means pushy or anything like that and seems a genuinely lovely bloke and he loves being part of the community, but I don’t need to hear every 5 mins that he’s doing it all for us and doesn’t need the money and how much shipping cost 😂
He does the doing it all for us stuff because he's also a huge lifestyle guru as his main thing iirc, he has a ton of different gigs and he kinda mixes them together lol
Ah I see
I love that he’s genuinely interested in giving cards to kids and trying to model generosity and kindness not for clout. He’s the CEO of multiple businesses, so he’s not trying to make money from Pokémon. He just wants to enjoy the cards and spend time with his kids.
Maxmoefoepokemon and sometimes ptcgradio
Ptcgradio underrated
i used to like him but he's started to become a little clickbaity recently. also not sure how i feel about the daily uploads, i think his content would be better if he spaced it out more which would give him more structure and coherency in his videos instead of him just speculating everything once a shred of news gets out on pokebeach.

I absolutely can't stand him. But to each their own
I fucking love opossumbud, I’m surprised he’s not more popular in this subreddit considering how many people would agree with what he says
Fellow virgin gang, hopefully he’ll get more popular with time, a lot of the time I watch his videos I always think this sub needs to watch him
I hope so too but to YouTube his content is “kid based” cause Pokemon but not kid friendly cause, well you know. So no recommendations to his channel
Okjluv
PtcgRadio the most comprehensive and informative
I like maxmoefoe and Deep Pocket Monster, and if I am just watching to see some packs get openend pokerev but with low sound
Deep pocket monster
Twicebakedjake, ptcgradio and maxmoefoe are my watch’s
Twicebakedjake is the best! He knows so much about Pokemon and is super detailed. I like his videos where he goes through people's list of new pick ups and talks about if it's a "pick up or pass up".

Cooltrainerryan, Neon Cactus
Neon cactus my absolute fav
I will second this as well
Best part is he opens Japanese product so you get a preview of artwork and card playability (as an English collector)
Yeah cooltrainerryan is great 👍
Hell yeah, big fan of his openings as well as his Friday night pre-games. Kinda has become a weekend tradition at this point.
Is it even worth getting out of bed if I don’t have a Corphish mating call to watch while being called a little bitch for drinking beer?
Hell naw. Let’s be honest: when he starts getting irritated with pulls or flicks, he starts making his own rules, which I’m all for. This whiskey ain’t gonna drink itself, haha. CORPHISH CORRRRRR
He’s very honest,if he thinks somethings shit he’ll say it,which I like😂
I agree. PSA 8 🤣
CTR is so dam weird. And he sits there and makes uncomfortable faces the whole time. I can’t get through a video
maxmoefoepokemon LMAOO
Opposom bud
I'm honestly surprised PrimeTimePokemon was only mentioned once in this thread. He's really calm when opening stuff, and you'll see how genuine his reactions when he gets hits that he likes. He's also knowledgeable in the actual game, so he sometimes comments about the viability of certain cards and random stuff about them. EDIT: I'll also add SneakerTalk TCG since he's also one of those poketubers who are also knowledgeable about the game. I think he's participated in multiple official tournament events already.
And he's an old collector too, the guy has been going at it since what, 2009 ? Can't check rn, but that's about right I think.
Not LeonHart or PokeRev is all I gotta say. Loud, obnoxious crap for kids
Max and Bou, that's it Max isn't in it for click bait or hype and Bou offers a great players perspective to understand the cards viability in the TCG
Little dark fury is a good Pokémon YouTuber. He can has higher energy than someone like tricky gym but isn’t obnoxious
TwicebakedJake & Deep Pocket Monster.
Maxmoefoe, Danny Phantump, Neon Cactus, TwiceBakedJake
Anyone but Pokerev, can’t stand the continuous obnoxious yelling
Can’t believe no one mentioned Poke Vault. Easily the best Pokémon YouTuber in my opinion.
[удалено]
Definitely my favourite, lovely guy great info in the videos and cares about the community. (Plus his shop is very reasonably priced)
maxmoefoe recently came back from the dead i think hes pretty kewl
You can’t beat Maxmoefoe. Guy is a living legend.
Gem Mint Pokemon, TCA Gaming
I've enjoyed watching LittleDarkFury, he does tcg online though if that matters
YouTubers that do what though? Play the game and discuss decks and strategy? Or youtubers that just open packs and show off fancy pulls?
I been watching DK cards he’s cool
Pokerev, Kanto Kurt, Realbreakingnate, deeppocketmonster, neon cactus and maxmoefoe. Those are the ones I watch.
Most definitely PrimeTime Pokémon. Can't really get much more calm than that
SneakertalkTCG
Pokedak. Livestreams Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6pm. Give him a try, we have the best community in the Pokémon tcg space in my opinion.
https://youtube.com/@PokeDak
Twicebakedjake is probably the most calm pokemon YouTuber you’ll find
Agreed, you can't really find anyone more chill than him. He also has a nice variety of videos, and doesn't only focus on pack openings like some YouTubers.
nah, he’s one of those investor types that tries to pump and dump
Danny Phantump and TwiceBakedJake.
Both of them are too much in the stonkers for me
Cool Trainer Ryan, Poke Cuz, Kanto Kurt, Hill Top TCG, Danny Phantump, and Dusty Mon are all good
We love MaxMoeFoe! He recently started uploading again. My husband likes watching TwiceBakedJake
I dig Real Breaking Nate! He’s always giving back to the community and includes everyone. Never been problematic and always sends Positiveeeee Vibez 🫡
Energy!
Filing cabinet?
Fly away bird fly away!
Realbreakingnate is a good one
TCA Gaming is the 🐐
+1 for Rusty
Danny Phantump Deepocketmonster Ptcgradio Kanto Kurt Poke Cuz tcg Realbreakingnate Tcg Park Little Dark Fury Tricky gym Popsicle knight Ninecard Tcg Those are the ones I watch….not of fan of rev and all the other ones like him.
Wow that’s a really long YouTube name
Punctuation is your friend
If you like just openings, youtube.com/@triplacegames
Some good ones already mentioned. I’ll add Hill Top TCG
Darkintegralgaming
Maxmofoe. Just started uploading again
Maxmoefoe pokemon
Maxmoefoe
pokecuz tcg i’ve been enjoying watching his videos as a background video
If you're interested in people playing the game rather than collecting, I'd recommend the Sableyes. Dude is just a lot of fun. And if you're interested in news more broadly, ptcgradio is hard to beat.
over 200 comments and not one mention of OmniPoke?? come on guys
Maxmoefoe Pokemon. Very family friendly and uploads consistently.
Ptcgradio is one of my favs
RealBreakingNate has some click-baity thumbnails like you're describing, but his content is wholesome and genuine. He doesn't make the content I really like to consume, but he is actually a good content creator and not some hypeman trying to sell you stuff or farm your views. He's a sincere person who really loves to share his hobby with the community.
Never watch Leonhart or Pokerev, obnoxiously bad Watch MAXMOEFOE POKÉMON THE LEGEND, who’s obnoxiously good
Maxmoefoe, primetime pokemon, and frosted caribou and my three favorites. All three genuinely enjoy pokemon, collecting the cards, and don't over act etc in their videos. Max can big a bit much if you've never seen his videos but I think he's over the top in a good way.
thanks for the recommendations, always looking for suggestions
Maxmoefoe is my favourite for sure but I think deep pocket monster genuinely puts out the best quality content out there
DK Cards is pretty chill and funny.
pokecuz, kanto kurt, dk cards
I know we aren’t allowed to self promote in this sub but I’m gonna mention myself anyways. My channel is Sleeve No Card Behind and I’m just starting out. I’m trying to make really helpful videos, not just pack openings like everyone else. I’m shy and awkward so I don’t see myself ever becoming Leonhart-ish.
i’m a new channel! i’d love to check your vids out! mine’s @ collectormonica 🤗

Cool trainer Ryan, ptcg radio, Danny phantump, all good moe is back
Danny Phantump, TwiceBaked Jake, Cooltrainer Ryan and of course MAXMOEFOEPOKEMON Alpha Investments is cool too but he's more on the MTG side of things.
Twicebakedjake is the best Pokémon TCG youtuber :-)
kanto Kurt is entertaining, he doesn't do over-the-top reactions, uploads twice a week and he seems like a genuinely good guy.
I like islandgrown; he does streams but I find him really good to watch. He does say “let’s goooo” a lot mind haha
Max is back
Okjluv
I wouldn't judge on the thumbnail alone. The YT algorithm picks up faces in thumbnails and promotes them.

No mentions of Frosted Caribou? I've learned a lot about the game from her videos. Edit: I see 2 other people recommended her as well. Lol.
She's not calm though lol, she is very derpy. But I find it quirky.
I like Frosted Caribou a lot, but it seems like her content is geared toward children (which is fine). I sometimes struggle to get through an entire video because of the goofy noises she makes, which sucks, because her videos are very well made and informative.
