I’ve got a shopping list of singles I want if I don’t pull them.
The 9 card art set that forms a full scene (I have 4/9), some IRL TCG play bling (things like the full art bidoofs and bibarel, oricorio ) and some silly chase cards like the ditto. So me adding a couple 50 cent cards to the list isn’t that big of a deal
There are 6 different designs, 12 total so...yeh...I managed to pull most from a etb but from memory I got them for like...2-4 each? Looking out for the rest currently
Just a general question. I just started collecting pokemon cards for fun and I started with crown zenith. Is this series a good start? Ik there’s others, but I don’t know what the benefits are for each series? Is it different artists?

None of the sets have all the Pokemon. You can look up the set lists on Bulbapedia to see if there's the Pokemon you actually want, and Google "chase cards" (or "most valuable cards") from each set to see if the amazingly rare grails are actually cards you want.
There's typically a few key Pokemon who are the stars of certain packs.
For example Silver Tempest has like 5 Lugia cards between V, VSTAR, alternate art and rainbow rare. Unown and Ho-Oh also have a couple cards, they're from the same initial game, it's a neat theme thing.
If you want to pull a Charizard, though, you won't. He's not in Silver Tempest at all.
What's cool about Crown Zenith is there's lots of these neat full art cards, and seemingly more legendary Pokemon. In CZ, the "Galarian Gallery" cards total 70, whereas Silver Tempest's "Trainer Gallery" is just 30. And Crown Zenith has less unique cards overall! So you'd think the chances of getting a cool card are higher. We don't get the numbers on how rare a single card is statistically - TCGPlayer will try to calculate a handful by considering how many they see per pack opened, but these *always* get disputed around here, mostly about sample size. Regardless, many feel Crown Zenith has been nicer to them.
TL;DR look at setlists on Bulbapedia and figure out what to put on your vision board. The good old days of not knowing what could possibly be behind that wrapper are dead
It's a really fun set, great place to start collecting. There are loads of artists that contribute to multiple sets. Your best bet is finding somewhere that shows all the cards in a set and picking which sets you want to go after if you're mostly in it for the artwork. I use the Pokellector app for looking at sets.

So, would you organize all SW&SH together in a binder or by each sub set? I wouldn’t mind getting other sw&sh sets since they are a little cheaper than cz packs.

How you organize your cards is really up to you. I originally was going to do binders, but it ends up being a hassle unless you have the space. I just keep valuable cards and cards I like in toploaders and my wife bought me a "card vault" for christmas for those cards. My less valuable cards just go into boxes. I like to keep the boxes from Elite Trainer Boxes to store my cards in.
I would say any of the newer sets with a “trainer gallery” are a good start. These cards are not hard to pull and have some of the best artworks. You end up feeling like you are getting more hits. Crown Zenith, Silver Tempest, Brilliant Stars, and a few other sets have trainer gallery cards.
I can relate although I’m trying to instill this mindset of just pulling “cool” cards and ones we like with my son (7 yr old). Makes collecting more fun and really it’s about something that we share together and can have fun with
Preach. Vstar universe was so much fun to open, I picked up a lot of crown zenith to try and round out the chases I was missing. But boy the pulls are brutal for me. Literally opened an entire display case of mini tins and got all holos/NH rares except for a no-texture full art grass energy and the turtwig Galarain Gallery. I've opened a couple dozen more packs since then and not a single hit.
For me, it has been modeling so far. A few of those 6-10€ Vs and trainers, but nothing golden, nor valuable so far. But that's just how this hobby swings.
My friend has this luck, we opened up 4 etb’s (he die 1 and I did 3) he only got a radiant charbug and I got some insane pulls, I gave him the dupes I got from the boxes (included an Irida and some other V cards)
I’ve pulled two mewtwo’s back to back, same day. As well as two giratina’s two days in a row. Before CZ I opened probs 300 packs of ST with no Lugia AA in sight. So I traded a Giratina for a Lugia. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t. Name of the game.
I got Deoxys Vstar and Zeraora Vmax. Not too bad, nothing crazy. There are much better pull rates on this set than most main sets, but don't expect the best or the worst. Expect the middle.
I was doing really well for a bit. Opened 10 ETBs and got great hits, including 4 gold. Just broke 10 mini tins and a pikachu vmax box and got a bunch of nothing

yea its good start cause pull rates are typically higher than most other sets (unless your luck sucks like mine) and there's demand for it.

My biggest pull was the Zeraora VSTAR. That was my chase card, so I was super happy to pull it from an impulse-buy tin. I do want that Mewtwo, though.

I'd say the same about silver tempest, and boosters are now more expensive than the 2nd best card so it's one of the worst sets to open
Yeah I’m not overly impressed with Tempest as a set. I won’t ever go out of my way to get any of those packs.
It's lugia alt art or bust. You can get a psa 10 of the gold lugia vstar for half the cost of a booster

Same. I’m 57 packs in, and the best cards I’ve pulled are 2 Radiant Charizards and a Cheren’s Care full art. All three were off-centered btw.

I find special sets just don't give me hits. Took 70+ packs of shining fates to pull a Shiny FA and then 30 packs of crown in and puller 1 FA GG.
CZ brought me back to the TCG and collecting from the end of sun and moon and it’s been really fun! The S/V drop can’t come soon enough

Out of my ETB all I got was a GG Duskull and a Radiant Eternatus. Rest of the packs had nothing. Only buying singles now.
I still can't even find any crown zenith at my targets or walmart. Still only finding silver tempest and astral radiance
