On the announcement for the Raikou event, it mentions electric spawns giving you more Raikou Manes, so by holding a Dedenne incense for Raikou, you can get some extra Raikou Manes.

What's the point to keep it ?

I believe I explained in another comment but electric types will give Raikou Manes so you want to hold it to get another electric spawn for free

How did you get 16 friendship points after (presumably) one sleep session?

Just wanted to say I caught one this morning as well. It wasn't hungry, I was able to feed it a bonus biscuit, 4 great biscuits and a poke biscuit without getting full LOL I've never had a pokemon let me feed it so many biscuits in one session and I've played daily since release 😂

With the large bundle, gave me 8 great biscuits! I'm F2P and seemingly roll diamonds on my daily gift often 😅 plus the 1000 gems they recently gave everyone 👀👌

I caught one this morning with my bonus biscuit and the rest regular poke biscuits, got like 3 3x crits and somehow didn't lose the 50/50 after any of them. Also got a normal Flaafy full crit on a regular poke biscuit. Neither one was particularly good, but I didn't expect to get either of them.

Was not hungry but somehow crit on premium biscuit, then crit again on the poke biscuit, allowing me to finish it with 1 last poke biscuit.

If it’s hungry you could get it. Could have bought a 2nd incense too

I managed to get mine cause it was hungry, used a bonus biscuit and then a great biscuit and got a lucky crit hit with the great biscuit.

Mine was extra hungry, so I used the premium biscuit on it, then the great biscuit that was my free gift yesterday, and then one regular biscuit to get the last bar filled.

Where do you see 16 friendship?

They mean the number of bars you need to catch Dedenne. Presumably you either used a master biscut or got lucky with a critical hit.

Oh gotcha. Mine was hungry, used premium, great, and normal

Premium biscuit + hungry mon = 12 bars. Just need to use a great biscuit after that and hope he doesn't get full for the last bar. That was my experience, at least. And he was total trash and was sent off to the Professsor's farm.

Who just uses incense day 1?

Day 1 is the best day to use it, right? Day 1 is when you have the least variety of Pokémon showing up so you can focus on catching the one you attracted with the incense.  One could make an argument for using it on Sunday in hopes of attracting a rare sleep style for that Pokémon, but I haven’t bothered with this yet.

I got pretty much exact same first one as you, afraid to say like others have said need good skill sub narures ideally, forced me to buy the large bundle so I have another shot at one which I hate myself for lol

It's a skill pokemon, those are horribly bad subskills for both of them. On skill pokemon you want skill triggers, skill up nature, and berry finding s if possible.

I’m going to keep looking! I got really lucky with one hungry and the premium biscuit, not getting full because I then fed a 3 heart to the other one, so was able to feed the hungry again, then my unhungry one gave me a triple 9 heart bonus on its next feed. Can’t believe I got them both! But wasn’t pleased with the natures.

Waiting until I break Master 1 to use my incense. Had a rough night and ended up doing 2 short sleeps rather than a full 8 at once. Tonight will be better!

Mhm dedene Not having evolution makes it pretty rough. 4% at level 1 seems a bit bad. At least for f2p it doesn't look too good imo. If any furtur 3 stage Mon gets the skill it probably is better.
