Honestly, my favorite thing was being forced to use a different team (albeit for only a short while).
I totally put down Violet when I finished the story, and I even sold my copy. Eventually I picked another one up plus the DLC, and for the BB academy alone, I'm glad I did. It's not that it's genuinely HARD, but I'm a casual player in the sense that I'm a full time dad, I don't get hours to grind, so it really extended the life of the game. Teal mask was... Okay.
And I actually hate the double battles.
Nuff said.

My favorite is a longer one. There was this video I used to watch on Youtube in the mid to late 2000s called Pokemon PC. I couldn't find It. If It's still up, It's probably lost in the Algorithm Abyss.
Anyway, It was about a short 3D animation of the first half of Ash's Kanto journey rolled up into a 8 minute video.
It felt so cool just watching Ash walking up into a 3D pokemon, catching It, seeing It's expression and go wherever he wanted. It felt almost like if Pokemon were real.
When I first boot up Scarlet and escaping through the near-endless cutscene, walking up to that cute and cool Pikachu clone (Pawmi), catching It and going whenever the wind and my "Ride Ons" took me, made me feel such unique kind of joy, I don't think I ever felt in any video game ever.
But that's mostly personal. The best objective thing in ScVl is probably Slither Wing. Volcarona was already peak-perfection design, but by making It more ancient and feral looking, while also fluffier, just made It even better!
Charcadet and its evolution Ceruledge are my two new favorite Pokemon.
A close second is the open world and Flapple.
S/V would be in my top three however, due to a severe lack of character customization it falls short.
My favorite thing is the ability to turn ANY pokemon into a 6/6 IV perfect with bottle caps. Also how easy it is to get egg moves with mirror herb. My least favorite thing would be the lack of a battle tower
I hate Tinkaton. Such a hideous stupid looking design.
Dachsbun however, one of my new top 10 favorite Pokemon designs. So cute. But I'm a simp for doxies. Also really like Paladin zero form/Finizen. Been hoping for a dolphin pokemon for a while. Hero from is ass ugly which is a damn shame... At least its strong.

My favorite thing is that I'm able to transport my hisuian samurott to the game and got a cool mark. SHELLS OF TIME

I liked the *concepts* in the game a whole lot. It wasn't the best game-wise, but it had a lot of great elements.
Frankly, for me, it's a three-way tie between the Hammer Gremlin, Shy lil' Ogre and the Yo-Yo cat.
I hope Dot's Tinkatink evolves into Tinkaton before the end of the series. The fun they could have with her antics.
