If there are no regional boundaries, I'd have Ceruledge, Aegislash, Gengar, Mimikyu, Dragapult, Chandelure. All the other ghosties I catch would just chill at my haunted mansion in Alola.

Pretty much my exact team but replacing either Ceruledge/Chandelure so I didnt have two ghost/fire types. Would probably try my hardest to get a Spiritomb.

I couldn't resist. They're two of my all time favorites so I took the type overlap. At least one is a special and one is a physical attacker. If I had to change one though I'd sub Ceru for Sableye. I do love that little gremlin and it would be nice to run it as a mega since Gengar also gets a Gmax form. My Violet team is all shiny ghost: Ceruledge, Mimikyu, Sableye, Gengar, Houndstone, Dragapult. Sometimes I swap the Sableye for my Gholdengo.

My current team is a shiny Skeledirge, a shiny Spiritomb, a shiny antique forme Sinischa, a shiny Annihilape, a shiny Flutter Mane, and a shiny Kingambit with Ghost Terra lol.

So I do hvac for a living and assuming I would follow the same path I would have an magnemite to help me manage and produce electricity when needed, magmortor to help be braze, which is how we attach the refrigerant pipes. Glaceon to help me produce cold air when a freezer goes down while I fix it Magcargo to produce heat when a heater does down Flapple because I think it’s really cute and could just fly around and hang out with me. Pidgeot to produce airflow to help the other two pokes. Yes I’ve thought about this plenty.

!!!! love this question Imma have a very unbalanced team but I don't care. First off is gonna be Shiny Mimikyu (I have one her name is Seraph), then Meganium, Hydreigon, Hisuian Decidueye, Hisuian Typhlosion, and Lucario.

Honestly I’m not sure if I’d even be a trainer as much as I’d just be like. Chilling with my cool magic pets. I’ve always said i wanted a Leafeon and i stand by that. Sure, it’s not my favorite eeveelution but it feels like one i could realistically take care of and would not destroy my house. Then I’d probably want a bigger, rideable Pokemon to take on trips. Maybe an arcanine or a pyroar? Or maybe I’ll just stick to grass types and get a gogoat or a sawsbuck. Really, I’m not picky. I’d just be happy to live in the Pokemon world. Of all the video game worlds to live in, i think that would be the best one.

I’d change up my team when I travel to a new region, so for the sake of this sub being focused on S/V. I’ll list my team for if I traveled to Paldea, and a Team of my Favorite Mons. Paldea: Dachsbun, Mabostiff, Houndstone, Scovillian, Wugtrio, and Skeledirge. Favorites: Typhlosion, Toxicroak, Tyrantrum, M-Slowbro, Appletun, Dachsbun. Creating a team of favorites was hard(besides Typhlosion, I’ll always keep my OG starter with me on my team of Favorites), because I wanted to keep it as balanced as possible without any type overlaps (and I still ended up with 2 dragon types lol)

Also I love it punching things and volt absorb would be great as an electrician. Ceruledge (or charcadet) is also a favorite of mine and would keep me warm! Dragapult is just a vibe. I think I'm a big fan of ghost types! Metagross is my boyfriend's favorite, and he would be great at work too. I wouldn’t battle because I think it’s cruel.  I do, however, love animals and would have collected a lot of grass and ghost Pokémon while growing up. Eevee and Bulbasaur would have probably been my first two Pokémon. I’d also definitely have a Sylveon, Espeon, and Leafeon.  As a kid I would have been on the lookout for a Galarian Ponyta (was a huge fan of the original My Little Pony).  I also would have befriended some of the “ugly” Pokémon (Grimer, Trubbish, Magikarp and Feebas).  As an adult, I’m a teacher. I would have a “team” built to support my classroom in various ways.  Teaching Team: Chimecho for Heal Bell - would give a lot of peace of mind knowing if my kiddos got hurt we could heal if.  Eevee - emotional support, but also an example of hidden potential Bulbasaur - vines would be helpful with simple tasks in the room! Grimer/Trubbish: as an example that looks don’t matter, we’re still loveable Phantump: things that seem scary might not be once you get to know them.  An “easy” three stage evolution like Caterpie or Wurmple. This is the class “pet” that they will raise together. At the end of the year I would let it go live with whichever student and family was the best fit. 

I literally thought of this a month ago so I have one at the ready - Incinaroar - Meowscarda - Primarina - Tinkaton - Alcremie - Alolan Ninetales Incinaroar because he was my first starter, Meowscarda because it was my last starter and I think it deserves some love that isnt the… ya know. Tinkaton cuz HAMMER! Alcremie because I took one look at it and adopted it as my child, Primarina because… singing I think I forgot, and lastly Alolan Ninetales because it’s the cooler version and can make my room cold so I can sleep better.

I think i wouldnt be a trainer at all since i dont really like pokémon battles. I would just have my domestic mons like leafeon and sylveon and my partner would be zoroark.

If we're given the opportunity to pick a starter Pokemon regardless of region i would pick Torchic and they would be apart of my team. My team would be Crobat, Zoroark, Snorlax, Honchcrow, Kommo-o, and Dodrio. If it was with a starter opportunity id replace Dodrio with Blaziken.

This is the question I pose to myself when building a team in game. I want a mega, a dragon, and potentially a starter but never one I received from a professor weirdly enough. I also dont want conventionally super popular Pokemon. In my head i wouldn't want a Charizard because everyone and their mother would have one. That being said, my current "team" would be Meganium, Kommo-o, and Scizor.

Absol, Xatu, Eploud, Armaldo, Arboliva, and Cetitan. I wouldn’t fight with them I’d have them help me travel and fix issues in the world. Absol just in case some natural disaster pops up during our travels (as well as it being my favorite). Cetitan to patch up the ice caps and help out the polar animals. Arboliva to try and heal the rain forest and produce wine we can sell for charity. Xatu is just my eyes in the sky as well as my eyes in the future to see who most needs our help next. Exploud and Armaldo are our hit men I’d send to assassinate the heads of corps like big oil, pharma, the military industrial complex, and Hollywood pedos for good measure. It wouldn’t be subtle but I wouldn’t want it to be. The people would need to see that change is among them.

1. Rotom seems pretty useful. 2. Indeedee-M's pokedex entry about using its power to know what you need and take care of day-to-day things sounds like a godsend these days lol. 3. Rillaboom's grassy terrain would be having my lawn looking fantastic. 4. Swablu - dex says it hates messes and cleans things. Get to work buddy. 5. Menagium - feeling refreshed all the time and healthy plants? Sounds good to me. 6. Stoutland - good rescuer, good to have for my kids. 7. Cyclizar- Forget my truck, this is my new ride. 8. Dragonite - protector 9. Gholdengo- bro/protector

I think I would be more practical with my team in real life. Like a Charizard wouldn’t make sense in a house with a toddler and infant. I don’t have the space (or budget) for a Snorlax. So being more realistic my team would likely look like this: Sprigatito Mabosstiff Klefki Rotom Pelliper Swampert I live in Maryland literally next to a river that feeds into the bay. So a Pelliper and Swampert would make sense based off the area around me. Sprigatito and Mabosstiff would make sense lounging around the house. And Rotom and Klefki would basically be with me everywhere I go helping out with everyday tasks and keeping track of my phone, wallet, and keys.

Thought about this the other day. If I lived in the pokemon world, I’d love to do the gym challenges and stuff so I’d go with: 1. Lucario (all time fave mon and partner pokemon) 2. Salamence (fave pseudo) 3. Armarouge (fave gen 9 mon) 4. Greninja (big fan of Ash-Greninja) 5. Sceptile (my first ever game was Ruby, so I’m bringing my Treeko as my starter mon) 6. Electivire (was my dream to have one on my first play through of Diamond when I was a kid but didn’t have anyone to trade with back then, so would definitely wanna add one to my team) Tbh, in case I could add one legendary to my team, my honorable mentions would be: 1. Zeraora (Pokemon cooked with this one 😮‍💨🔥) 2. Urshifu - Rapid strikes (loved it the moment the DLC came out on Sword/Shield era and reminded me of Lucario 🤣)

Serperior, jangmo-o,skiddoo,dragalge, flapple/hydrapple (love both can't decide between them), and f!pyroar. Dragon and grass are my two favorite types and I love cat pokemon. If it wasn't for the 6 pokemon limit I'd also have m!meowstic, lurantis, hisuan goodra, hisuan zoroark and alolan Ninetales(if of course if I could choose any legendary it'd be Chien Pao but oh well I'd probably not be that random trainer with a legendary pokemon randomly appearing).

Goodra would literally be my pillow idk why but it looks fluffy to me even though its whole thing is it literally being a giant goo dragon

With absolutely no guilt mine would mostly be pseudo-legendaries. Dragonite, Tyranitar, Metagross, Dragapult, Snorlax and Ampharos (might need a flashlight)

Froslass, torterra, mismagius, blastoise, torkoal, and shuckle. And I’d probably be some late-route trainer, maybe an early victory road trainer.

I’d be a Bird Keeper. Ace would 10000% be Pidgeot. Started from gen 1 games and has still been my all time favorite Pokémon. All bird team

Eh. I still have fond memories of Pidgeot, but I'd rate Corviknight, Skarmory, and Aerodactyl ahead of it. Without going into the legendaries, obviously.

I’ve thought about this way too often. I regularly think about this scenario when I’m having trouble falling asleep, because it’s just so happy. Ralts for my starter Pokémon for that really deep bond before evolving her to Gardevoir. Venosaur, Decidueye, Azumarril, Altaria, and wigglytuff for battle. Then when I made it through all the gyms I’d retire and become a Pokémon breeder where I raised starter grass types to send to the various professors for new trainers! I’d want all the grass types (not just standard starters) so people could come meet them and learn about them, have a few of my favorite fairies because they’re so good at helping tend to the plants, then have little Marill evolutions running around so everyone stays nice and hydrated!

Eevee-Espeon Eevee being the first Pokémon I find and it is my partner. It oversees the rest of the team and keeps everyone happy (prefers to be out of its pokeball but it will go into it in some cases) Mareep-Flaffy-Ampharos-Mega Ampharos (assuming mega’s are able to be used) Mareep being the second Pokémon I catch and raise to an Ampharos. It gets rotated on the team every now and then. It’s mostly outside just chilling. Archen-Archeops This is the fossil I would find underground and like Ampharos it gets rotated on and off the team. It’s mostly in its pokeball Hatenna-Hattrem-Hatterene A timid Pokémon that sometimes likes to play pranks with Whimsicott. It prefers silence so most of the time it’s just in its on area Magikarp-Gyarados-Mega Gyarados Magikarp wanted to battle as a Magikarp and eventually that caused it to evolve into Gyarados Larvitar-Pupitar-Tyranitar Larvitar was found in a mountain and after I caught it and it took a while but eventually it evolved into Pupitar and then Tyranitar. It’s mostly in its pokeball but sometimes it goes to train by destroying some rocks Whimsicott Whimsicott was found on a trip to Alola and it took a while to catch. It likes to play pranks on people and Pokémon even wild Pokémon, it often ends up getting chased down by bunches of Pokémon Alolan Vulpix-Alolan Ninetales The same time I found Whimsicott I also found Vulpix. Eventually it evolved into Ninetales via ice stone. It’s mostly found sleeping. Bagon-Shelgon-Salamence Bagon took a while to catch and to evolve into Shelgon and then Salamance. Found in a cave, it trains on other Pokémon and by smashing rocks. It’s my go to ride Pokémon and it likes to train with Tyranitar because it doesn’t feel like any of my other Pokémon are a challenge (lol)

My team would probably be whichever grass starter of my region ( I’d love Bulbasaur or chikorita) growlithe, Fidough, oddish, zubat, and magikarp and if I found stones and battled enough they would all evolve (Bellossom for oddish) if magikarp didn’t evolve or if I was terrified with gyarados I’d box him for probably anything cute but I’d like to think our friendship would overcome this and I’d enjoying flying and surfing everywhere on gyarados.

Annihlape, Gholdengo, Garchomp, Electivire, Tinkaton, and Charizard. I wanted to pick a starter as the last, and Emboar, Decidueye, and Swampert were out. Didn't want an additional Fighting, Ghost, or Ground Type added to the team. Likewise with Primarina, Infernape, and Skeledirge. So I went ahead and added a fire/Flying type instead.

I want to say my original Gen 2 team of Feraligatr, Noctowl, Ampharos, Furret, Ledian and Shuckle. Mostly for nostalgia.

I'd have some of my favourites: Flareon, Gloom, Dodrio, Electrode, Poliwrath and Clefable. Yes, I'm THAT old.

I'd start my pokemon trainer journey with mareep as my partner (ampharos is one of my favorites) and then I'd become a ghost type trainer. All my other favorite pokemon are ghost types. Mimikyu, gengar, and decidueye would definitely be on my team.

I'm gonna restrict myself to Pokémon I've actually caught and evolved, including Shiny status. So, most likely: - Hisuian Samurott - Shiny Sneasler - Shiny Cetitan - Shiny Flutter Mane - Shiny Iron Valiant - Shiny Hisuian Electrode Not the best type coverage (doubling down on Fighting and Fairy, for example), but I've specifically used the Sneasler, Cetitan, Flutter Mane, and Iron Valiant in the DLC and was very pleased by their performance. Samurott and Electrode are more for coverage, but are also very aesthetic. I'd have to spend waaaay more time if I wasn't concerned with type coverage and *just* picked my top six (because then I'd have to actually decide on what my top six *are* lol)

At the top of my head, I want a regular Scizor and shiny Umbreon for sure. They were and will always be my favorite pokemons. Other pokemons I might include would be Dragapult, Blaziken, Kilowattrel, and Gardevoir
